The at was poisonous, and the soil was not deep. It was easy for dogs to dig it out. At that ti, it might not be just dogs who would eat it. There were countless people living in poverty on this island. If so young children who did not know anything saw the at, they might secretly eat it.
Gu Yundong told Luo Qi about it, and the latter was enlightened. She exhaled in fear. “I didn’t expect this. Fortunately, Sister Gu, you took out the at.”
Gu Yundong tidied up the cloth bag and walked back.
“Go back and take care of your mother first. I’ll co back tomorrow to see you. I still have to go to the Gu family to see how things are going.”
“Alright, then I’ll go back first.” Luo Qi said goodbye to Gu Yundong and hurried ho. She wanted to spend more ti with her mother.
Gu Yundong walked towards the Gu family’s house. At this mont, more than half of the people were gathered at the entrance of the Gu family’s house, pointing and talking.
