Caliste could only shake his head.
For the last three weeks, ever since he was revealed to have a corrupted mana circuit, he had been working his absolute hardest to fix the situation. However, with the resources he currently had, nothing could be done.
Still, he had learned very interesting things over those past weeks.
The first thing he quickly grasped was the amount of ti that had passed since his death.
It had been at least 100 years since he had died. He learned of it by spying on one of the history books his sister, Aleia, had been reading.
That explained a lot of things. For one, the fact that the Demon King's castle was completely intact and peaceful. The overall easygoing behavior from everyone was also sothing that Caliste had noticed, sothing he found quite strange.
But now, everything made sense.
The war was over.
As for how it finished, Caliste was still in the dark.
There was one thing that had been on his own. What had happened to the ones he had previously called his friend? Were they still alive? If so, what were they now doing?
Those questions were the reason why, for the past three weeks, Caliste had tried his best to sneak out of his room at night and go into the library.
But every ti he tried to do so, his mother was there to bring him back to bed.
It was honestly scary; the mont Caliste even tried to leave, she would wake up.
'Ah... having this small of a body is annoying. I can't even walk yet.'
And there was still sothing that Caliste had yet to receive. The heavens had told him that he would receive help from them to make him grow faster than his peers, but as far as he had seen, nothing had been sent to help him.

Ava hugged Caliste as usual; however, she noticed him making all kinds of baby noises. She thought that he wanted sothing.
"Hm... is my baby hungry?"

Getting fed was probably his favorite mont of the day.

"Is everything okay, Caliste? Are you not hungry anymore?" Ava asked as she watched her baby's empty gaze.
However, as Caliste heard those words, he imdiately woke up. It was ti to test out this new system of his.
