Chapter 339:

– Layla –

I woke up feeling wonderfully refreshed and just a tad bit comfortably sore. It wasn't surprising—foursos tended to have that effect. Turning slightly, I smiled softly at Unohana, who lay naked and deeply asleep on my left. Her usually composed face was serene in rest, her breathing slow and gentle. It was strangely adorable seeing the dignified healer like this—vulnerable, beautiful, and completely spent.

Glancing to my right, I saw Trihexa curled up into a small, surprisingly innocent ball, her breaths coming in soft, quiet puffs. For soone literally known as the Apocalypse in human form, she sure looked harmless when she was naked and dreaming peacefully next to . It was funny how appearances could deceive so greatly. You’d never guess the sleeping beauty next to could wipe existence off the face of reality if she wanted.

I carefully looked around for Yasaka, and frowned when I saw that the spot she'd occupied the night before was empty and cool now.

“Hmm…” I murmured softly, pouting slightly. The Yokai queen always had responsibilities waiting. “I guess she couldn’t sleep in…”

I was genuinely excited for the day in the future I could wisk all my harem mbers away from their duties and we’d all live together happily.

[And never get anything done, just having sex all day…]

I stretched lightly and sat up.

Unohana hadn't had sex for hundreds of years before our night together, so naturally, I'd made sure to thoroughly exhaust her.

Trihexa, I'd quickly discovered since she’d taken human form, loved precisely three things above all else. Fucking, food, and sleep—in that exact order.

Given the marathon we'd just had–that I even made last longer with so ti manipulation–these two newest additions to my little harem probably wouldn't wake up for a good long while.

[Only you would use the power of an Infinity Stone to extend your sex session…]

“Hmph!” The System was being awfully judgntal today… “Sleep tight, you two,” I whispered fondly, leaning over to kiss Unohana's forehead gently, then turning and placing another soft peck on Trihexa’s cheek. She stirred briefly, mumbling sothing unintelligible before drifting deeper into her dreams again.

Smiling, I quietly slipped out of Yasaka's bed, padding barefoot to the bathroom. I stepped into the shower, letting the hot water rush over my satisfied body, washing away the evidence of last night's indulgences.

As I combed conditioner through my silky, long black hair, I ntally reviewed the tasks I still had ahead. Sothing important had slipped through my fingers earlier—no thanks to Lady Death and the Phoenix Force deciding to yank out of the Dragon Ball universe without warning.

…I never got to talk to Bulma properly afterwards!

After toweling myself dry, I dressed casually, slipping into a comfortable pair of jeans and pulling on a simple, snug-fitting shirt. Shaking my hair out until it was perfect, I faced an empty space in the bathroom.

It was ti to pick up where I'd left off.

“Hi, Bulma!” I called out playfully, suddenly overco by a strange wave of déjà vu.

Bulma, who'd been leaning over so complicated-looking contraption outside, jumped in surprise. Her ass, which I'd shalessly admired as it swayed rhythmically while she worked, jerked upright with a startled yelp. A sharp tallic bang echoed, followed by her pained groan.

“Ow! Shit—” she cursed loudly, straightening up slowly, hands clutching her head in obvious discomfort.

“Oh crap, sorry!” I said sheepishly, swiftly closing the distance between us. Lifting my palm, I let warm, golden energy flow through my fingertips, gently washing away her pain. “Here, let fix that for you.”

Bulma sighed softly in relief, her eyes closing briefly at the soothing sensation. “Mmm, that actually feels nice,” she murmured, her tension visibly easing. When she opened her eyes again, she studied carefully. “You know, Layla, I almost thought you forgot about our little deal—especially after you vanished right when Android 17 made his wish. Everyone was pretty confused about where you went.” She trailed off awkwardly, giving a pointed look.

“Oh yeah, that…” I replied dryly, recalling the whole fiasco vividly. Honestly, of all the things I'd anticipated, Android 17 wishing to straight-up kill Zen-Oh and take his place as the Omni King wasn't even remotely close to the list.

But hey, shit happens.

Plus, with the Life Stone now fused seamlessly into my body, I figured I had a pretty solid chance of taking 17 down if I had to. Even if he was nearly omnipotent, the guy literally couldn't kill permanently—so worst case, I'd eventually just wear his ass out.

I shook my head slightly, pulling myself back to the present. “Sorry about disappearing so abruptly,” I offered sincerely, giving her my most charming smile. “Trust , I didn’t forget about our deal. There's no way I could forget an arrangent I made with such a beautiful woman.”

I winked playfully, laying on the charm extra thick. Of course, we both knew I was just teasing—nothing would actually co of it—but playful flirting never hurt anybody.

Bulma imdiately rolled her eyes, crossing her arms and giving a long-suffering look. “Oh please, Layla. That cheesy line wouldn't have worked on even before I was happily married.”

I laughed, shaking my head lightly. “Worth a shot, wasn’t it?”

“Not even close,” she snorted, but a small grin tugged at the corner of her lips.

Bulma suddenly decided to change the subject. She glanced at curiously, eyes filled with a mixture of skepticism and intrigue.

“So, Layla,” she began cautiously, her tone hesitant, “were you actually serious about everything you promised before the Tournant of Power?”

My lips curled into a mischievous grin. “Absolutely serious,” I assured her confidently, stepping closer. “I’ll grant you immortality and eternal youth, just as I promised. All I want in return are detailed schematics and working samples of all your technology. And when I say everything, I an it—Capsule Corp tech, gravity training machines, spaceships… and especially that fascinating ti machine of yours.”

Bulma stared at incredulously for a mont before snorting lightly, amusent dancing in her blue eyes. “Is that all?” she asked sarcastically, placing her hands sassily on her hips.

“Oh,” I added nonchalantly, deciding to sweeten the deal even more, “I’ll even extend immortality and youth to your parents. And your kids too, unless they prefer training to beco gods like Vegeta.”

Her expression quickly shifted from amused to shocked disbelief. “Wait a second—hold up,” she interrupted sharply, confusion knitting her brows together. “Did you just say Vegeta is becoming a god?”

I nodded patiently, smirking slightly at her dumbfounded expression. “Yep. The majority of the ki in Vegeta’s body is gradually converting into pure god ki. It’s happening slowly, sure, but trust —he’s already stopped aging altogether.”

Bulma’s mouth opened slightly, absorbing my words carefully. Seeing her disbelief, I softened my voice a bit, gently explaining, “Look, Bulma. Your universe’s afterlife is basically just a temporary stopover before reincarnation, right? If you don’t want your family separated across lifetis, immortality really is the smartest solution.”

She hesitated, staring at with wide, searching eyes, clearly weighing my words carefully. Then, throwing caution to the wind, she shrugged dramatically. “Fuck it,” she declared decisively. “If you can really deliver on all that, I’m completely down.”

I smirked triumphantly, stepping even closer to her. “Deal,” I said smoothly. Reaching out, I playfully tapped the center of her forehead with one finger. “And…done!”

Bulma blinked in confusion, reaching up to rub her forehead. “Huh?” She narrowed her eyes suspiciously at . “What the hell are you talking about? You didn’t even do anyth—”

Fwish!

Her startled protest was abruptly cut off as a pair of brilliant white, feathery angel wings suddenly burst out from her back. She stumbled forward in shock, eyes widening as she twisted around frantically to stare at the magnificent appendages protruding from her body. Before she could even formulate a coherent thought, her physical form began shifting visibly—years peeling away from her right in front of my eyes.

Bulma’s features rapidly morphed from those of a mature, sophisticated woman in her early forties into those of a young, absolutely breathtaking woman no older than her mid-twenties. Her skin beca smoother, her curves tightened noticeably, and her hair glistened with youthful vibrance.

“Holy shit…” I muttered appreciatively, giving her a slow, appreciative once-over. Bulma was an absolute knockout in her pri. Goddamn sha Vegeta had already laid claim—otherwise, I'd have been all over her in an instant.

“If you ever decide to separate from your husband,” I teased playfully, winking cheekily, “just rember, I’ll gladly sweep you off your feet.”

Bulma, however, wasn’t even listening. Completely absorbed in shock and fascination, she was gawking down at her newly rejuvenated body. Her hands traveled experintally over her firm, perky breasts before sliding lower, giving her newly rounded ass a brazen squeeze right there in front of .

“Oh my god…are these wings real?” she breathed incredulously, tugging at a feather experintally. “And I feel…I feel amazing!”

I chuckled warmly, folding my arms and leaning back to enjoy the spectacle. “I always deliver on my promises,” I said smugly, imnsely enjoying her stunned reaction. “Welco to immortality, Bulma Briefs.”

Bulma slowly nodded, dumbstruck, before sothing seed to dawn on her. She straightened slightly. “Layla…” she started hesitantly, her voice filled with nervous uncertainty. “What exactly are you, anyway?”

I flashed her a playful grin, thoroughly amused by the question. “Technically speaking? I'm basically a goddess from outside the boundaries of your multiverse.”

She swallowed visibly, eyes wide. “Wait… does that an this beautiful form of yours is just so elaborate illusion? Are you secretly so creepy eldritch monster behind all that?” Her voice was trembling slightly, clearly unnerved by her own imagination.

I imdiately pouted, mildly offended. Did I really give off 'tentacle horror' vibes?

[Hahahahaha!]

The System’s raucous laughter exploded obnoxiously inside my mind, clearly delighted by Bulma’s insinuation.

“Oh, co on, Bulma,” I protested, crossing my arms indignantly. “This is absolutely my real appearance, thank you very much.”

Bulma visibly sagged in relief, placing a hand dramatically over her heart. “Oh, thank Kami…” she breathed.

“Although, now that you ntion it,” I added nonchalantly, my expression turning thoughtful, “I have actually seen a terrifying eldritch being before.”

Bulma froze, panic instantly replacing her relief. “W-wait, what?!”

“Yeah, it was huge,” I elaborated cheerfully, ignoring her rapidly paling face. “About the size of a small moon, covered head-to-toe in writhing tentacles and billions of blinking eyes. Totally horrifying to look at, honestly.” I paused for dramatic effect, then dropped the punchline casually. “Oh, and he's also kinda like my adopted dad—”

“Daughter…”

I paused for a second as a voice spoke through my Orb of Anywhere…

“STOP!” Bulma shrieked desperately, hands flying forward to frantically cover my mouth. “No more! No more eldritch horror stories! I really don’t wanna hear it, Layla!”

Her frantic reaction sent into peals of laughter as I gently removed her trembling hands from my mouth. “Alright, alright,” I relented with a good-natured chuckle. “Fair enough. The deep, dark secrets of the omniverse aren't for everyone.”

Bulma gave an exaggerated shudder before regaining her composure, clearly trying to put the unsettling imagery behind her. Taking a deep breath, she refocused, determination flooding her gaze again. “Anyway, back to business,” she said briskly. “About your paynt… it’ll take a few hours, but I promise I'll gather everything you asked for—the schematics, the samples, the whole nine yards.” Her lips curled into a teasing smirk. “…Scary eldritch goddess.”

I rolled my eyes playfully at her newfound cheekiness, but before I could retort, Bulma suddenly squeaked in surprise. Instead of walking, she began levitating gently above the grass, her newly acquired angelic wings stretching instinctively behind her.

“Oh my god! Wait… Am I flying?!” she gasped incredulously, laughing as she hovered unsteadily above her lawn. “Holy crap, this is amazing! No wonder Vegeta and Trunks do it all the ti!”

I watched with amused indulgence as Bulma, giggling like a delighted schoolgirl, awkwardly floated back towards her circular Capsule Corp ho, clearly thrilled by her newfound flight ability.

Shaking my head fondly, I turned away, content to wait outside in the nice sunlight. For a brief mont, I wondered how I should occupy myself while she prepared my paynt? Maybe go and visit one of my favorite characters?

However, three powerful energy signatures suddenly prickled sharply at my senses, rapidly approaching from a distance. “Well, well…” I murmured softly, a slow, intrigued smile curling across my lips. “Looks like things are about to get interesting.”

Just seconds after I sensed their energies approaching, Goku, Vegeta, and—wait, was that Jiren?—landed in the grass in front of , kicking up small gusts of air.

Vegeta imdiately crossed his arms, narrowing his sharp eyes at suspiciously. “You again? What the hell are you doing at my ho?” he demanded gruffly, eyeing warily as though expecting trouble any second.

I shrugged casually, eting his suspicious gaze without flinching. “Relax, Prince Vegeta. I’m just here on business. Bulma and I made a little arrangent, that’s all. Nothing nefarious, I promise.”

He gave a skeptical grunt, clearly not convinced by my assurances, but before he could voice another snarky comnt, Goku excitedly jumped forward. “Layla!” Goku bead eagerly, practically vibrating with anticipation. “Let’s fight! I’ve been dying to see what you’re really capable of!”

I laughed softly. “Sohow, I knew that’d be your first thought when you saw .”

Grinning, I turned to look curiously at the stoic, muscular figure behind them. “And you, Jiren. What brings Universe 11’s mightiest warrior all the way to Universe 7? You're kind of far from ho, aren’t you?”

Jiren’s piercing gaze t mine unwaveringly. “During the Tournant of Power, our fight was interrupted prematurely. I’ve thought about it ever since. I requested my universe’s angel to transport here so we could finally finish our battle properly.”

“Oh?” I raised an intrigued eyebrow. “I’m flattered, Jiren.”

Vegeta scoffed irritably, rolling his eyes. “Tch. If you two idiots are planning a rematch, then there's no chance in hell I'm sitting this one out!”

“Oh?” I chuckled. “You too, Vegeta? The more the rrier, I suppose.”

He snorted dismissively but stepped forward anyway, an arrogant smirk tugging at his lips. Typical Saiyan pride—never let it be said Vegeta backed down from a challenge. Even if he didn’t win most of them…

“Alright then,” I declared enthusiastically, stretching out my arms casually. “I’ve got plenty of ti to kill, anyway.” Raising my right hand, I effortlessly summoned another swirling purple portal beside , space distorting gently at its edges. “Follow through here. There's a deserted planet nearby where we can really cut loose without blowing Bulma’s house into space dust.”

Goku practically bounced with joy, his eyes sparkling. “Aweso!” he exclaid cheerfully, imdiately leaping through without hesitation. Even Jiren had a small smirk of anticipation, stepping calmly into the portal’s embrace. Vegeta rely snorted again and strode through confidently.

Smiling to myself, I stepped through last, instantly finding myself standing beneath unfamiliar skies—dark purple and crimson clouds swirling lazily overhead. The rocky terrain beneath us stretched endlessly, barren and lifeless, perfect for an epic battle between titans.

Turning slowly to face my opponents, I felt genuine excitent surge within . “Just so we’re clear,” I said casually, letting my voice carry across the dusty landscape, “I was holding back—a lot—during the Tournant of Power. And since then…well, let's just say I've gotten even stronger.”

I finally let my true nature show itself. Sixteen sleek, black, fallen angel wings burst forth dramatically from my back, feathers shimring ominously in the strange alien light. My aura surged outward like a storm, raw power crackling violently around my form, distorting the air itself with its oppressive weight.

The reaction from the trio of warriors was instantaneous—they each visibly flinched, instinctively stepping back as my imnse presence washed over them. But that surprise quickly shifted into fierce determination etched clearly on their faces.

“Now then,” I announced confidently, a cocky grin spreading across my lips. “If you boys want a real chance at winning, you'd better co at together. Don’t even think about holding back!”

The three of them exchanged a quick glance, and Goku stepped forward first, his black eyes blazing fiercely as he clenched his fists in excitent. “Heh!” Goku declared boldly, powering up instantly, his aura flaring dramatically. “We’re not gonna lose, Layla!”

…They lost.

I had to hand it to them, though—they'd given it a damn good go. They'd actually managed to land plenty of powerful blows, letting thoroughly test out my newfound immortality and invulnerability granted by rging with the Life Stone. Honestly, it felt a bit unfair—borderline cheating, even.

Throughout the entire fight, I'd discovered sothing interesting.

I could be damaged, at least superficially. Bruises ford, cuts appeared, and blows genuinely knocked around, but nothing stuck. It was as if an endless reservoir of healing energy surged within , effortlessly repairing any wound within re milliseconds. Before I could even register pain properly, I was already back to looking immaculate, as if nothing had ever happened.

My HP truly was Infinite.

Vegeta had spat at my feet afterward, glaring up at through his swollen eye, his pride clearly bruised worse than his body. “You’re such a bullshit cheater,” he'd growled bitterly. I'd just laughed it off. Poor Vegeta. Forever salty about being humbled.

Now, finally ho in my own universe, I glanced down at the newly filled inventory I'd brought back from the Dragon Ball world. Capsules galore, each one holding technologies and blueprints that Tony Stark, along with the architects and scientists back on Asgard, would practically drool over. Gravity chambers, hyper-advanced spaceships, portable housing units—and best of all, the schematics for a functional ti machine.

Yep, this little side-trip had definitely been worth it.

Of course, before leaving that universe, I'd made sure to keep every last promise I'd made. Bulma's parents now sported angelic wings matching their daughter’s, looking youthful, spry, and annoyingly cheerful. Hell, I'd even thrown in immortality and eternal youth for Chi-Chi after Goku's enthusiastic request when he realized he himself was well on his way to godhood and immortality.

Hey, I was nice like that.

I turned to head back towards Yasaka’s room, eager to check on Unohana and Trihexa. Who knows—maybe they'd be up for another round of sweaty, delicious after-sex activities?

But before I could even take another step, reality shifted abruptly around !

The familiar warmth and comfort of Yasaka's palace vanished instantly, replaced by an endless, tranquil void. Stars stretched out infinitely in every direction, painting the darkness with glittering pinpricks of celestial brilliance.

What the fuck…?

[Uh oh…]

I blinked, stunned, as my surroundings slowly ca into clearer focus. Oddly enough, despite being suspended in the cosmic emptiness, an ornate fireplace crackled warmly a few feet away. Two comfortable-looking lounge chairs sat invitingly in front of it, as if patiently waiting for occupants.

And occupying one of those plush chairs was a face that instantly made my eyes widen with disbelief.

Stan Lee.

Wait… No it wasn’t! My heart suddenly thumping faster in realization. This wasn't actually Stan Lee. It was soone infinitely more powerful…

The One Above All.

The absolute supre deity of the Marvel multiverse sat calmly, regarding with a gentle, grandfatherly smile. I actually gulped, feeling strangely nervous. Fucking hell! This was a whole different league of divine intervention than anything I'd faced before.

"Relax, Layla of the Fallen," the entity spoke gently, his deep, soothing voice resonating effortlessly through the void around us. "I didn't bring you here to fight or punish you. Far from it, actually."

He chuckled warmly, gesturing lightly toward the empty chair across from him. "Please, sit. I simply thought it was finally ti you and I had a bit of a chat."

Taking a deep breath, I forced myself to calm down, my anxiety slowly fading into curiosity. After a hesitant pause, I nodded slowly and moved toward the offered seat. Lowering myself carefully onto the impossibly soft cushion, I t the gaze of the multiverse’s ultimate authority and tried not to fidget.

“Well,” I said softly, fighting off the overwhelming sense of awe—and a little dread—that stirred inside , “this certainly wasn't on my schedule for today. But I’m definitely interested in whatever it is you want to discuss…”
