Hannah Hearne suddenly changed her attitude and handed over the red cord, none of the three took it lightly.

It’s just like Scarlett Jennings suddenly giving an amulet; her initiative indicates there’s definitely a need for it.

Lucas Jennings looked longingly at the red cord, even though he felt he had the best relationship with "Cousin," he didn’t insist on taking it.

Cousin giving the red cord to Zhan must have her reasons.

Adam Jennings thought so too.

The group quickly arrived at the airport, and the private jet belonging to the Jennings Family took the four straight to Sea City.

anwhile, on the other side.

Scarlett Jennings and Samuel Chalrs were also preparing to head to the Artefact Village. To prevent Samuel Chalrs’ whereabouts from being tracked through electronic records, the two left Capital tropolitan directly with Dashiell.

Above the clouds, the silver-white flood dragon soared diligently, carrying the two towards Blossom Village.

Dashiell couldn’t shake off the feeling that sothing was off.

Initially, Scarlett Jennings brought him to Capital tropolitan for advanced studies at the Academy of Mystique.

Yet now, every other day, he was made to skip classes, and his demonic power seed to show no improvent.

As Dashiell thought about this, Scarlett Jennings spoke to him from his back,

"Dashiell, your original form seems to have gotten bigger recently, and your flying speed is faster than before."

This remark imdiately diverted Dashiell’s attention, and he proudly twisted his body,

"Of course! My transformation into a flood dragon is smooth now, and this speed is just average. I can fly even faster if I put my mind to it!"

Scarlett Jennings imdiately and earnestly praised him,

"Your flying speed is indeed almost as fast as Simon’s."

Dashiell was overjoyed again.

Simon is a dragon, after all!

Doesn’t this an he’s not far from becoming a dragon!

Ecstatic, Dashiell twisted serpentinely, accelerating, carrying the two swiftly through the clouds.

Samuel Chalrs felt the clouds rapidly sweeping past and looked at Dashiell, who was overjoyed with just a few words from Scarlett Jennings, wisely choosing silence.

But even if he didn’t speak, Dashiell couldn’t ignore his presence.

With his glassy, vertical pupils rotating, Dashiell suddenly tilted his head and asked,

"Sir, your mory hasn’t fully fused yet. Do you still rember promising to help transform into a dragon?"

Dashiell said,

"I’m not rushing you, but I think if you say sothing, you should stick to it, right? You don’t seem to have anything urgent coming up, so why not help transform when we reach the Artefact Village?

I’m ready anyti!"

Fearing Samuel Chalrs might refuse, Dashiell babbled and looked at him expectantly.

On the flood dragon’s back, Samuel Chalrs didn’t respond imdiately, just looking at his smooth, dense silver-white scales. After a while, he slowly asked,

"Did I promise you?"

A hint of guilt flashed in Dashiell’s eyes, but he still nodded, "Yes."

Samuel Chalrs seed to smile slightly, making eye contact with Dashiell,

"Are you sure?"

He hadn’t fully fused his mories yet, but he hadn’t lost them.

Specific mories, with deliberate recollection, remained clear.

But within the mories related to Dashiell, he hadn’t explicitly promised to help him transform into a dragon.

Perhaps when he was Samuel Chalrs, he had planned to, but... definitely not now.

Seeing Dashiell attempting to argue further, Samuel Chalrs straightforwardly reminded him,

"Even if you obtain the opportunity to transform through deception, you won’t fully transform into a dragon. I’d advise you to think carefully."

Dashiell: ...

Quietly turning back to focus on flying, pretending nothing was said.

Scarlett Jennings had already guessed Dashiell’s intentions when he spoke. From the first ti she t him, his heart’s desire was to beco a dragon.

But the ti hasn’t co yet, just as Samuel Chalrs said. Even if he manages to get an opportunity through deception, the transformation might fail, potentially harming his spiritual power in the process.

Scarlett didn’t persuade him but started to ponder if there might be a way to help him transform early.

After all, having been together so long, she hoped his wish would co true.

While pondering, Scarlett suddenly noticed with her almond eyes that, in a fleeting mont, a white light seed to erge from Dashiell’s flood dragon horn.

Within the white light, there were strands extending.

Those white strands... they were opportunities.

Dashiell’s opportunity to transform into a dragon seed truly imminent.

*

Blossom Village.

This was the village of the Village Guardian Baoshan.

Baoshan was also the guide to the Artefact Village.

But Scarlett Jennings wasn’t coming for the first ti. Moreover, the barrier of the Artefact Village was repaired by her and her mother, so she naturally didn’t need Baoshan to guide the way.

The three landed directly on the mountain behind Blossom Village. Scarlett quickly found the edge of the barrier, moved the Array Stone, and was about to enter the barrier.

Unexpectedly, Baoshan suddenly ran towards the three from the mountain path.

Face full of urgency and fury, pointing at them,

"Cows, cows! More cows!"

Dashiell was bewildered,

"What’s going on? A lost cow?"

That wasn’t their concern.

They had just arrived!

Then Scarlett Jennings and Samuel Chalrs simultaneously turned to look in the direction Baoshan pointed — which was behind them.

Amidst the forest’s shadows, they vaguely saw a man and a woman running, with the man carrying a burlap sack on his back.

The sack was sagging and obviously heavy.

As Dashiell was about to suggest the sack might not actually contain a cow, Scarlett Jennings’ eyes suddenly turned dark, saying,

"Three vital breaths, there’s a child in the sack."

Saying that, without hesitation, she grabbed Samuel Chalrs’s arm beside her.

Samuel Chalrs didn’t hesitate a bit, taking her instantaneously teleporting them, and the next instant, they appeared in front of the escaping man and woman.

The two were putting a great deal of effort into their escape, and seeing people suddenly appear in front of them startled them. Before they could react, Scarlett Jennings threw out a Spirit Light Chain.

"Bind."

The two were bound securely, and the man’s hands loosened, causing the snake skin sack on his back to drop imdiately.

Having anticipated this, Scarlett Jennings called out, "Shellback."

[Ready!]

A black mist surged from her pouch, enveloping the man, and before the sack hit the ground, supported it steadily.

After stabilizing the sack, the black mist gently laid it on the ground.

As Scarlett Jennings was about to step forward to inspect, she felt a subtle change in the surrounding scene the mont the sack landed, as if they were within the barrier.

The following second, a familiar voice, tinged with confusion and uncertainty, sounded,

"Young Master Jennings?"

Scarlett Jennings and Samuel Chalrs turned their heads to see not far in the forest.

Jade Bennett’s human form was half-buried in the ground, half-looking at them, and upon making eye contact, she imdiately showed a delighted expression.

With a rustling sound, she pulled herself out of the ground, covered in mud, and quickly ran in front of them,

"It’s truly you! Young Master Jennings, and Sir, why have you co?!"

Taking another glance at the bound humans behind them, tilting her head,

"Who are these two?"

They couldn’t possibly be... housewarming gifts??
