Other demons found it unbelievable and had to check three tis before confirming that Scarlett Jennings had not just successfully leveled up.

The news of Scarlett Jennings skipping a level to enter the Special Demon Squad blew through every corner of the Academy of Mystique East District like a whirlwind.
The pups from the three Young Demon classes were the most excited.
They couldn’t care less that the bell had rung for class; each revealed their demon states and howled non-stop, all the while loudly proclaiming,
"Scarlett is the best! No doubt she’s our leader!"
The half-demon students in various grades quickly whipped out their phones.
They had a special half-demon group chat.
At this mont, the chat was blowing up.

Before the announcent was even made, most of the half-demon students in the Advanced Class had already set themselves up at the entrance.
Unlike those who didn’t believe Scarlett Jennings could keep skipping grades, the advanced class students had already confird Scarlett’s current strength earlier.
They were certain she would pass her advancent test and succeed in moving up to the Advanced Class today.
But knowing is one thing; acknowledging it is another.
They had no intention of letting Scarlett Jennings breeze in so easily.
A little intimidation before joining a new class is always necessary.
Among these demon students was the earlier ntioned Luke Hearne.
He was considered a promising young talent in the Hearne Lineage, at least until recently.
Ever since Scarlett Jennings appeared as a dark horse, he had heard her na countless tis within the clan.
Even his father urged him to find an opportunity to spar with Scarlett Jennings.
Luke Hearne was annoyed.
So today, he rarely joined these demon students, planning to give Scarlett Jennings a collective intimidation show.
Yet, they waited for the announcent but not Scarlett Jennings; instead, another piece of news arrived.

She actually skipped the Advanced Class straight to the Special Demon Squad!

anwhile, Scarlett Jennings, who was the topic of everyone’s conversation, was with Dashiell and Ashton Todd, circling around the academy’s periter.
"The academy’s barrier didn’t have a gap to squeeze through; we can only enter through the front gate."
Dashiell said this with a tone of regret in his voice.
He preferred a shortcut.
Ashton Todd, standing by confidently, said, "I personally supervised the barrier’s repair, no way you could find a gap, you underestimate ."
He added, "As long as I get paid for a job, I’ve never dropped the ball!"
He sure lived up to the money he’d taken.
Dashiell looked at Scarlett Jennings in disbelief, "Did you actually pay him?!"
"Mystical Demon cooperation project," Scarlett said. "The Mystic Regulation Office footed the bill."
Initially, the barrier repair was just a proposal for andnts.
Under normal procedures, andnt orders are sent to the academy, which follows the orders for andnts; Scarlett Jennings and even Ashton Todd wouldn’t have to get involved.
But whether the Academy of Mystique was unwilling to cooperate with the andnts or if this was simply their style, at first, they completely missed the mark on the initial andnt order.
Like when they were instructed to clarify the equal status of half-demons within the academy, they issued a notice, then there was nothing more.
Or when they were supposed to repair the academy barrier, they simply sealed the damaged area without any intention of strengthening it.
This was against the original intention of Scarlett Jennings’s proposed andnts.
But she wasn’t skilled at implenting them.
So, she sought advice from Donovan Jennings.
Following Donovan’s advice, she temporarily assigned Sylvia Murray as a board mber, forming an Oversight Council for the academy.
Moreover, she also brought Ashton Todd over to supervise the barrier repair under the guise of Mystical Demon cooperation.
Normally, the Demon Clan was reluctant to have extensive cooperative ties with the Mystical Sect.
At first, Ashton Todd’s arrival wasn’t well-received.
But that didn’t matter; he was thick-skinned.
As soon as the Demon Masters finished repairing the barrier, he’d turn around and destroy it.
When questioned by the Demon Masters, he was quite righteous,
"If a barrier that I, a not-even-graduated Master, can easily destroy is what you’re using to protect your demon children? My goodness, you demons are really declining. Such a barrier, what could it stop?"
The Demon Masters repaired it again, he’d just destroy it again, and for those he couldn’t destroy, he’d study them first before destroying them.
The barrier ford by demonic power differed from one set by a Master using spiritual power, so Ashton Todd openly studied the Demon Clan’s barrier.
Because he was naturally talented in barrier arrays, he did co up with so findings.
In the end, not only did he destroy the parts repaired by the Demon Masters, but he also used his Mystical Sect thods to repair them, challenging the Demon Masters to see if they could destroy it in return.
If the Demon Masters couldn’t destroy it quickly, he’d comfort them on the side,
"No worries, from now on, the safety of your little demons will be protected by our Mystical Sect. Anyway, the Mystic Regulation Office belongs to the Security Bureau, so your Academy of Mystique can be managed by our Taoism Academy too. Lacking diligence was one thing, but not wanting to be outdone by the Taoism Academy was another that they couldn’t tolerate.
Thus, the academy’s dean was finally brought out by the Demon Masters, fortifying the entire barrier overnight, and under Ashton Todd’s encouragent, improving the academy’s barrier.
Ashton Todd’s visit turned out quite fruitful.
Not only did he make money, but he also learned a lot.
The barrier personally set by the academy’s dean, aside from the critical demonic power, had a logic entirely different from those of the Mystical Sect, inspiring Ashton Todd with many new ideas.
This was exactly why Scarlett Jennings brought him over.
The Demon Clan’s integration into Spiritual Affairs was official, and the connections between Mystics and Demons would only grow deeper; future breakthroughs couldn’t rely solely on the Mystical Sect.
This point was what Scarlett Jennings had felt most strongly about for the past three months.
After confirming the barrier was intact, Ashton Todd prepared to return to Sea City.
