When Luca Jennings received Scarlett Jennings’ call, he thought she was planning to stay over there for the night.
Caught off guard by her request to buy a villa, he was montarily stunned but quickly replied,
“Have you set your eyes on a villa there? Which one did you like? I’ll buy it for you.”
“Do you want it next to your grandmother’s?”
“Is one enough? Why not buy a few more? Dad will pay!”
Luca Jennings’ voice was as steady as ever, but the slight hint of affection in his eyes gave away his feelings.
After all, this was the first ti Scarlett had asked him for sothing since returning ho.
It turns out that with Donovan Jennings not at ho, he was the one Scarlett needed the most.

The main reason she called Luca was that she didn’t want to deal with the hassle of buying the villa from Landon Lester, especially since she had just caused a scene there earlier tonight.

Scarlett had the driver take Rose Spencer and the Floral Serpent back to Rose’s temporary rental.
As they were about to leave, Scarlett addressed the injured Floral Serpent,
“Once your wounds are healed, whether you seek revenge or otherwise, you must promise not to harm innocent people or kill anyone.”
To ensure the ssage sank in, Scarlett added a cold warning,
“If you cross the line and break the taboos, I will personally take you to the Mystic Regulation Office for detention.”
The Floral Serpent listened to Scarlett with reluctance but eventually agreed.
Scarlett also gave it a Talisman to help stabilize its demon energy, preventing further leakage.
Having completed everything, Scarlett finally returned ho and slept well.
The following day, seeing Lucas Jennings reluctantly getting ready for school, she stopped him and handed over two Amulets.
Lucas imdiately looked worried,
“Sis, am I facing so great disaster recently?”
Is it the kind that one Protective Jade Token couldn’t handle, and now I need two more Amulets just to be safe?
Scarlett glanced at him and said,
“These aren’t for you.”
She continued, “There’s soone at your school nad Alistair Lester, who should be around your age. Give these two Talismans to him. Find an excuse, and make sure he and his mom carry them at all tis.”
Alistair Lester is Landon Lester’s son.
Although the Floral Serpent promised last night, Scarlett felt it prudent to take precautions, considering its embittered look.
These two Amulets were strictly for Landon Lester’s family.
As for Landon Lester himself, she had no interest or concern.
Originally, Landon Lester’s involvent in hunting the demon kind should be reported to the Security Bureau.
However, there were no residues of Evil Technique on him and no signs of Array remnants were found within his villa.
Moreover, Landon Lester was entirely unaware that the Floral Serpent was a Demon Body, so the Security Bureau could at most detain him for a warning or impose a fine.
But such a nominal punishnt couldn’t soothe the Floral Serpent’s resentnt or teach him a lesson.
Lucas knew who Alistair Lester was—just an unremarkable character in their school—and was curious why his sister was particularly mindful of him enough to give him Talismans.
Nevertheless, his sister rarely gave him tasks, so Lucas pledged resolutely to complete the mission.
Once everything was settled, Scarlett took a break.
Within two days, and by the third day, Luca had handed her the property deed to Landon Lester’s villa.
How he managed to do that in such a short ti was anyone’s guess; all she knew was that the villa was to be vacated that day.
Scarlett imdiately grabbed her Hundred Objects Box and headed to the villa.
The mont she stepped onto the villa’s land, that peculiar feeling returned.
Yet, she could not find any trace of an Array within the house.
Scarlett considered the situation and directed her gaze downward.
If the Array wasn’t scattered throughout the house, then it had to be underground.
With that thought, Scarlett didn’t hesitate. This ti, instead of troubling Luca, she directly called the butler, Uncle Ming,
“Uncle Ming, please send a construction crew over.”

Uncle Ming hung up the phone, still a bit dazed.
Luca was at ho today, aware that Scarlett was supposed to claim the villa. Hearing her request for a construction crew, he asked,
“Is Scarlett unhappy with the villa’s decor? Arrange for soone to sort it out, and find a designer to redesign it for her.”
Remaining professionally calm, Uncle Ming responded,
“Miss Scarlett instructed to arrange for soone to demolish the villa directly.”
As Uncle Ming finished speaking, he noticed that the movent of Luca’s tea-drinking hand paused slightly but returned to normal the next mont,
“Oh, then go ahead and arrange it. Make sure it’s leveled properly for her.”
Uncle Ming: …Understood.
So within an hour, the construction team arrived on site, turning the once-luxurious villa into ruins in half a day.
Scarlett climbed onto the rubble and placed her hand on the original foundation, finally sensing a faint trace of a Barrier.
There was indeed a hidden Array beneath the house.
After sending everyone else away, Scarlett set up the Four Directions Breaking Formation Talisman.

The next mont, with a roar, it shot into the sky.
Scarlett’s heart pounded rapidly, for with the uprising Demon Energy, her Spiritual Power clearly sensed what was hidden beneath—
It was a massive serpentine skeleton.
To be precise, it was the Demon Bone of a serpent demon!
And it was a Great Demon!
