"What’s going on with this rain?"

Director Ian obviously noticed the situation here, and when he arrived, the surrounding staff were all shocked and terrified.

At this mont, a figure erged from the rain mist, with a solemn voice that was still audible in the heavy rain,

"The rainwater is dirty, prolonged exposure of wounds to the rain can cause them to beco inflad and fester. Even if we’re filming, we should consider the actors’ physical condition."

Ariel Zimrman suddenly turned her head and saw Gregory Xander walking over with an umbrella. The rain falling on the ground splattered mud, yet he remained spotless, as if the space under his umbrella was isolated.

In the rain mist, his figure gradually beca clearer until he stood before her,

"Sorry for interrupting your work."

He spoke seriously, and Ariel inexplicably felt a sting in her nose, wanting to speak but worried about revealing her emotions, so she simply turned her head away, not looking at him.

Gregory Xander lowered his head, looking intently at the abrasion wound on her hand.

Director Ian was about to get angry over the sudden interruption in filming but held back half of his anger upon recognizing him.

She was a fan of Scarlett Jennings, not because of "Inspiration," but because she had witnessed her and other Mystical Sect mbers risking their lives to protect Cathay, which made her admire them.

For the sa reason, she respected those like Gregory Xander from the Mystical Sect.

"Master Xander, why is it you?"

She glanced at Gregory Xander, then at Ariel Zimrman who seed to be sulking beside him.

As a director who had directed countless romance dramas, she naturally spotted the unusual relationship between the two at a glance.

Suddenly, she understood where Ariel Zimrman’s explosive performance ca from after returning to the crew.

Gregory Xander faced the understanding gaze of the female director and, with a slightly stiff expression, still said,

"Sorry, can you give five minutes? I’ll leave once I’m done."

Although displeased with the interruption of work, Director Ian decided to give Gregory Xander so face, "Alright then."

He then instructed the nearby staff to take a break before resuming filming.

Ariel Zimrman didn’t expect him to just leave, unable to resist glaring at Gregory Xander,

"I told you yesterday I forgive you; why are you still here?!"

"You didn’t."

Gregory Xander said, his gaze full of certainty.

Although she verbally said she forgave him, she didn’t truly forgive him in her heart.

He had evidence of this,

"You didn’t remove from your blacklist."

Ariel Zimrman turned her head away, not speaking.

She had already decided not to contact him anymore, so she hadn’t thought of removing him from her blacklist.

As working professionals, you apologize, I forgive, understanding each other without saying it, maintaining dignity on the surface is enough.

Usually, even if one knows they’re blacklisted, they won’t insist on verifying it.

Yet he had to bring it up and pursue the truth!

Gregory Xander wanted to argue it out with her carefully, but he promised Director Ian he only had five minutes.

Seeing her silent, he simply extended his hand to hold hers.

The hand chilled by the rain was suddenly touched by warmth, making Ariel Zimrman’s hand tremble slightly, instinctively trying to pull away.

Gregory Xander hesitated for a mont, then still reached out, holding her retreating hand, his voice deep,

"I just want to help treat your wound."

He hadn’t planned to interrupt her work.

The first ti he saw her filming, it was different from every previous encounter.

He admired her commitnt and didn’t intend to interrupt.

However, watching her film in the rain despite her injury, he couldn’t help but act.

Since he had intervened, he had to see it through to the end, it was his principle.

He took her hand, revealing the tender palm filled with abrasions, though cleaned and dicated, the rain had washed away the dicine, and the wound was soaked.

Gregory Xander focused his gaze, his other hand holding the umbrella pushed upward.

The umbrella seed to have a consciousness, floating upward, and then stopped above their heads.

The umbrella isolated them within the rain while underneath, Gregory Xander opened Ariel Zimrman’s palm onto his own hand, while his other hand single-handedly chanted a mantra,

"Don’t let the clean blood co out, don’t raise turbid blood..."

Spiritual power spread with the spell, Ariel Zimrman felt her previously stinging palm embraced by a warm flow, looking down, she saw the wound originally cut open, the blood traces being repaired bit by bit.

Though not instantly restored, the healed wound would not be infected again.

Clearly, she decided to draw a clear line with this person, avoiding further entanglent, yet her heart pounded uncontrollably due to his actions.

Ariel Zimrman pressed her lips tightly, internally cursing herself for being unambitious.

It was just a display of Mystical Technique, it’s not like Gregory Xander is the only one who can do Mystical Techniques in this world.

Scarlett at her house can do it too!

Nathan White can do it too!

She, Ariel Zimrman, is not so clueless cutie.

She won’t be moved by his little tricks.

Thinking this, her expression tightened even more, putting on a business-like fake smile when he again looked her way,

"Thank you, Master Xander. If there is nothing else, you should go."

Gregory Xander looked at her smiling face, silent for a while, still saying,

"Don’t smile like that next ti, it’s a bit fake."

Having seen her genuine, carefree smile, Gregor Xander could distinguish the real from the fake in a glance.

He didn’t want her to show such a fake smile to him.

Little did he know, his words made Ariel Zimrman’s lips stiffen slightly, holding back, barely refraining from snapping back.

Fake or not, what’s it got to do with you?!

Besides partners and her fans, no one has the right to judge if she’s genuine.

Not even a boyfriend can.

Let alone the person before her who’s not even a boyfriend!

She imdiately retracted her fake smile, glaring straight at him, expressionless, she asked,

"Are you done talking? Can you leave after you’re done?"

Gregory Xander: ...

He seed to have said sothing wrong again?

Annoyed in his heart, he ultimately didn’t linger any longer.

After Gregory Xander left, the cloud that previously isolated Ariel Zimrman alone also dissipated.

The heavy rain poured down again, and the crew resud filming.

However, the previous emotions were inevitably interrupted, causing Ariel Zimrman to shoot several more takes before regaining the feeling Director Ian wanted.

As a result, she stayed in the rain for quite a while longer.

"Ah-choo!!"

Inside the nanny car, wrapped in a blanket and holding a cup of hot chocolate, letting the assistant dry her hair, Ariel Zimrman still felt agitated,

"Why did he co after all? To deliberately tornt ?!"

If it weren’t for him, she would have surely nailed it in one take.

"Ah-choo!"

She sneezed again, looking disgruntled, "Does anyone apologize like that?"

The assistant listened to her complaints silently, not knowing what to say, seeing her hair nearly dry, hurriedly put down the hairdryer, "I’ll go get you so dicine; it’s not good if you get really sick."

Saying this, she turned around, just as she pulled open the car door to go out, the next second, sothing seed to suddenly bore into her feet.

The assistant exclaid, turned her head, and she and Ariel Zimrman froze on the spot.

In front of Ariel Zimrman, stood a little paperman cut from a yellow talisman, and on the paperman’s back, there was a small box... of dicine?
