With a loud bang.
Phoenix Fire soared up from the swamp enveloped by Golden Light and evil thoughts, instantly devouring all the filth along with the light.
In Emily Hearne’s Domain, the evil thoughts that couldn’t be burned by the Phoenix Fire appeared to lose all their strength to struggle. As the flas continued to scorch, the muddy black evil thoughts were visibly burned through bit by bit, until they were completely extinguished.
And amid this sea of fire, the struggling black Phoenix gradually lted back into its original form, and then slowly, surprisingly took on a human shape.
Emily Hearne recognized at once that it was the missing Luke Hearne.
At this mont, he no longer had his original appearance, wrapped as if by thick black mud, struggling in the swamp, desperately seeking help as the Phoenix Flas scorched him.
"Help ... I don’t want to die."
"Grandfather... Save..."
His voice was soon swallowed by the flas, his body gradually lted along with the Demon Soul, until completely disappearing.
And as all the evil thoughts vanished from the Domain, the swamp before them quickly disappeared.
A clear breeze swept through, and the Domain showed no trace of ash, still embodying the beauty of mountains and rivers.
Emily Hearne was not unfamiliar with Scarlett Jennings’s Domain, but this ti it made her feel more relieved than ever before.
It’s as if every plant and tree in this Domain brimd with vitality, with spiritual energy from the mountains and rivers pouring toward her, healing her previously frazzled body and spirit.
It was as if she had been born into this world...
This was indeed the true Domain of the Ten-tailed.
Her eyes brightened slightly as she looked towards Scarlett Jennings, and then she seed to recall sothing, quickly saying,
"The Soul Tree!"
As Scarlett Jennings concentrated for a mont, the gigantic Soul Tree appeared in the verdant fields.
Emily Hearne’s barrier remained intact.
But on the trunk of the Soul Tree, traces of corrosion were still apparent, with half of the Soul Bells tainted by dark filth.
Leaving it unattended like this would certainly be problematic.
Emily Hearne then asked her, "Is there a way to help restore the Soul Tree?"
Scarlett Jennings pondered for a mont, asking her, "My thod might be a bit harsh, can you accept that?"
Emily Hearne wasn’t afraid of her thod being harsh, only worried that she might not have one at all, she imdiately responded,
"I can!"
Emily Hearne also wanted to see how harsh her thod could be.
As soon as her words fell, Phoenix Flas suddenly wrapped around the Soul Tree in front of her.
The golden flas burned ruthlessly, accompanied by crackling sounds, rendering Emily Hearne speechless.
anwhile, outside the Domain.
Several people who couldn’t enter Emily Hearne’s Mind Domain were standing by her fox body.
Unable to see what was happening within the Domain, Magnolia Hearne and others could only infer the situation inside based on Emily Hearne’s physical condition.
Initially, they observed the demon energy, entwined around her body by evil thoughts, gradually diminish over ti.
Ianthe Hearne was imdiately elated, "It must be Scarlett’s doing!"
Having Scarlett enter Emily Hearne’s Domain was certainly the right decision.
Finally, as Emily Hearne’s body regained clarity, the elders succeeded in resolving the "Malevolent Demon" outside that had been corroded by evil thoughts.
Seeing Emily Hearne’s current state, while they were happy she was no longer being corroded by evil thoughts,
the Soul Tree that materialized behind her still showed no improvent.
Just as they were thinking this, they saw the Soul Tree suddenly catch fire.
The massive flas nearly engulfed the entire tree.
The originally calm elders imdiately changed expression, "The Soul Tree! The Soul Tree is on fire! What can be done?!"
Magnolia Hearne and Aaron Hearne stood at the forefront, watching the Soul Tree catch fire without panicking like the others. Instead, they tilted their heads and softly spoke to Cassian Wolf beside them,
"I’m sure it’s Scarlett’s doing!"
Cassian Wolf looked at the head leaning close to him, a few traces of warmth hidden in his eyes, remaining silent, noncommittal.
Soon, as the flas spread from the trunk to various parts of the Soul Tree, burning the Soul Bells, outside suddenly ca cries of lantation from so clansn.
Those were the clansn who had already been largely corrupted by evil thoughts.
The Soul Bells are born from the Soul Tree for every clansman who possesses demonic power, inherently linking the Soul Bells to each clansman’s soul.
Once the soul is polluted, the Hearne Clan’s clansn themselves will also be polluted.
That’s why Emily Hearne sacrificed her Divine Soul to protect the Soul Tree from being corroded by evil thoughts.
At the mont, the Phoenix Fire burning the corroded parts of the Soul Tree and Soul Bells was akin to burning their souls.
In this regard, Scarlett Jennings’s thod was indeed brutal.
But she dared to do it because Phoenix Fire, besides scorching evil thoughts, wouldn’t cause any harm to the Soul Tree or the Soul Bells themselves.
Even if, hypothetically speaking, the Phoenix Fire posed so danger to the Soul Tree, as long as the Soul Tree remained within her Domain, she could instantly make the flas disappear.
The remaining elders were initially anxious about the clansn’s cries as though they were being burned.
But soon, as the flas scorched the Soul Tree, the corroded parts began to gradually restore to their original state.
Simultaneously, the Soul Bells, once tainted black, began revealing their original colors.
As the black filth receded, the cries outside gradually weakened, eventually returning to normal.
Ianthe Hearne relaxed from her initial tension, turning her head and showing a look of disdain towards the elders,
"Look at you, all panicked over such a trivial matter."
Elder: ...
As if we haven’t noticed, your tail was taut when the fire started!
The crowd outside felt relieved due to the obvious improvent in the Soul Tree’s condition. Inside the Domain, Emily Hearne watched the situation of the Soul Tree and secretly breathed a sigh of relief.
Yet at this mont, as the Phoenix Flas continued burning, it seed the evil thoughts within the Soul Tree couldn’t withstand such burning, suddenly erging from the tree, in just a mont, breaking through the barrier and swiftly flying towards the edge of the Domain.
"Scarlett!"
As Emily Hearne spoke, she raised her hand, enclosing the mass of evil thoughts with a cluster of blue foxfire.
However, the evil thoughts easily broke through the encirclent of foxfire, darting rapidly within the Domain, trying to find so opening.
Scarlett Jennings raised her hand at the sight, the light sword ford from Golden Light and the Phoenix transford from Phoenix Flas rushed in to besiege it from all directions.
The evil thoughts darted swiftly, scorched by the Golden Light and Fire Phoenix, but did not perish; instead, it quickly split into two, continuing to escape.
Scarlett Jennings’s brow furrowed slightly, sensing the peculiarity of these evil thoughts, her Ten-tails moved, teleporting her directly to the spot where the evil thoughts were.
Without any hesitation, she swung the Ten-tails, charged with gold-red demon energy, forcefully.
The originally scattered evil thoughts instantly turned to dust under the blow of the Ten-tails.
anwhile, far in the overseas castle, Shu’e sensed another consciousness had perished, his sickly pale face showing obvious depth.
Before the consciousness dissipated, he distinctly saw the person who consecutively annihilated his two consciousnesses.
It was the Ten-tailed.
Scarlett Jennings...
He stared intensely at the image of Scarlett Jennings appearing in front of the consciousness illusion, suddenly, the person in the mirage realm slightly raised their eyes, directly eting his gaze.
Shu’e was startled, followed by the space in the room becoming distorted, in the next second, a figure slowly erged from the crack in space.
Scarlett Jennings looked at the sickly man in front of her, the demonic power belonging to the Ten-tails filled the entire space without hesitation.
She looked at him for a long ti, her voice calm as she spoke,
"Shu’e, we finally et."
