On the solemn altar, the woman’s snow-colored hair cascades like a waterfall, gradually losing its sheen as the power of the Ten-tailed Divine Soul slowly disperses.

Yet she seems utterly indifferent, gently resting her head against the dragon’s body, her brows serene, filled with attachnt.

After a long ti, Althea closes her eyes, embracing Damian’s true form, allowing herself to lie atop him.

Scarlett Jennings and Samuel Chalrs both feel a shiver in their hearts, as if they both see the scene they once witnessed in a dream.

The woman asleep on the mountain has always been her.

In the millennia after Damian transford into the Dragon Vein, perhaps she has always guarded him this way.

Until the Divine Soul completely dispersed.

Scarlett Jennings finally confirms, Althea’s last glance toward Samuel Chalrs was surely because she recognized him.

She knows who Samuel Chalrs is, and has guessed his true form.

Thus, she chooses to sacrifice her Divine Soul, allowing Damian to be reborn as a Dragon Vein...

In this world, there were never Dragon Veins.

Over tens of thousands of years in the Mortal Realm, a true Dragon Vein was never nurtured, let alone allowing the Transformation of a Dragon Vein.

It was Althea, who personally planted this Dragon Vein.

She could set a marriage contract with Samuel Chalrs, who is a Dragon Vein, and even gain recognition from the Heavenly Dao, never by re chance.

Mixed emotions surged within, yet Scarlett Jennings was clear she could not prevent it.

Because everything unfolding belongs to the cause and effect of this ti-space.

Even she and Samuel Chalrs are part of this cause and effect.

Her hand subconsciously grasped Samuel Chalrs’s hand beside her.

Samuel Chalrs’s fingers briefly stiffened before he tightly held her hand, as if fearing she might disappear like the person before them.

Samuel Chalrs had never thought his existence was due to soone sacrificing their Divine Soul for him.

He finally understood, that during the past millennia, his ever-empty Divine Soul lacked sothing.

However...

If possible, he wishes she hadn’t done so.

If Damian’s Divine Sense were still present, he certainly wouldn’t hope for Althea to do this.

Holding Scarlett Jennings’s hand with slight pressure, Samuel Chalrs wanted to tell her, if in the future... he only wishes for Scarlett to live well.

Scarlett Jennings looked at Samuel Chalrs’s slightly trembling palm, seeming to understand his thoughts, yet said nothing.

Suddenly, a mournful cry of a Phoenix ca from the air.

Perhaps sensing two familiar Divine Souls dissipating, the Five-Colored suddenly soared into the sky.

The Phoenix spiraled above the altar, continually emitting mournful cries from its mouth.

Scarlett Jennings watched it, sensing the sadness and lant in its voice.

She thought, perhaps Five-Colored’s acquaintance and connection with Samuel Chalrs was not by chance.

Between it and Samuel Chalrs, there was already a cause and effect, even...

During Damian’s millennium of slumber as a Dragon Vein, it replaced his beloved Althea, waiting for the Dragon Vein to awaken.

It was at this mont, she understood why Five-Colored would personally transform Shu’e.

Besides the Phoenix’s natural compassion for humanity and its instinctive expulsion of malice, there was also... the obsession from witnessing Damian’s and Althea’s Divine Souls disperse.

It wished to avoid the sa fate, fearing the hard-earned rebirth of Damian would once again sacrifice itself for Shu’e.

As long as the Mortal Realm exists, the malice Shu’e represents will never completely disappear.

Five-Colored could not extinguish the Mortal Realm Damian protected, thus only offering itself for Shu’e.

Unfortunately...

It too failed.

*

As Althea’s Divine Soul power dissipated, the Barrier she used to shield others gradually vanished.

At this mont, clouds quickly gathered above the altar, the dense clouds carrying the oppressive weight of the sky pressing upon the city, accompanied by thunderous roars, infused with the power of the Heavenly Dao of this ti-space.

Scarlett Jennings could feel the Heavenly Dao was angry.

Not angry at Althea for defying the Heavenly Dao and transforming Damian’s Dragon Bone into the Dragon Vein guarding the Nine Provinces.

But angry at her for destroying her Divine Soul.

Unknowingly, amidst the fury seed to be a trace of heartache.

Althea, of course, also sensed it.

With half of her Divine Soul already dispersed, Althea slowly opened her eyes, once more looking up to heaven, but ultimately said nothing.

At this mont, the smile blooming in her eyes already conveyed her thousand words.

Damian died protecting the Heavenly Origin without regret.

She too held no regrets.

She only wished to leave the last strand of Divine Soul, waiting a millennium... for the return of an old friend.

Scarlett Jennings stood there, fixedly looking at Althea nestled by Damian’s side, as her Ten-tailed Divine Soul power was about to utterly disperse, suddenly stepping forward.

She walked step by step to Althea, then took off the Soul Bell from her hand, placing it in Althea’s palm on the verge of dispersing.

She had requested it several tis before, but had never received it.

But now...

"You won, my Soul Bell is yours."

Althea looked at the Soul Bell in her palm, for a while, only slowly breaking into a smile.

A gentle breeze blew past, and the Soul Bell and her body completely transford into spiritual light, dispersing into the air, familiar Soul Bell sounds softly ringing in the wind.

As if by a pull, Damian’s true form also transford into spiritual light and followed suit.

...

Now that this affair is settled, though the Heavenly Origin is in ruin, they have done all they could.

What remains can only rely on the people of the Heavenly Origin to gently heal themselves, Samuel Chalrs and Scarlett Jennings refraining from interference.

Before returning their bodies to Beckett Chalrs, the two bid farewell to Susan and Five-Colored.

Five-Colored had already matured into a six-year-old toddler, looking at the two, its eyes were swollen like blisters, its young voice tenderly revealing grievance,

"Are you leaving too?"

Damian and Althea had already gone, and now they were also going.

The Little Phoenix, having descended for just a few months, was utterly sorrowful.

He was born carrying the legacy of the Phoenix and naturally understood the significance of the recent events.

Precisely because he understood, he was even more sorrowful.

Upon hatching, the first sight he had was of these four.

But now, all four were going to leave him.

Facing Five-Colored’s longing, reluctant gaze, Scarlett Jennings too was reluctant to part, but remaining further held no aning.

She reached out, softly stroking the head of Little Five-Colored, and said only,

"Through the ages, one day, we will et again."

If she could, she wished to advise him against attempting to transform Shu’e, wishing he wouldn’t sacrifice himself, not wanting their reunion to be rely a glimpse of Susan transford from his Divine Soul.

Yet she understood too that ti-space cannot be reversed.

Just as Damian and Althea’s ending, so too is Five-Colored’s future.

Five-Colored sniffled, standing firm, his swollen eyes faintly revealing a touch of determination, then focusing, he gathered a ball of Phoenix Fire imbued with the essence of his Divine Soul power in his palm.

Turning toward Susan transford into a Fire Phoenix beside him, he spoke,

"I’m not strong enough yet, I can only spare this little Divine Soul power.

You are born from my Divine Soul, so don’t diminish the na of our Phoenix Clan again, don’t let villains like Shu’e control you."

Surrounding Susan, the Phoenix Flas wavered slightly, then solemnly and earnestly nodded, guaranteeing,

"I won’t!"

Once his Divine Soul grows stronger, he won’t just avoid Shu’e’s control, he intends to defeat him!

Five-Colored smiled, sending the Phoenix Fire Ball forward with a push.

Susan spread open fiery wings, letting out a cry, engulfing the Phoenix Fire Ball completely.

The Little Fire Phoenix, empowered by the increased Divine Soul power, surged with strong flas, within which, the now several tis larger Fire Phoenix soared into the sky.

Scarlett Jennings and Samuel Chalrs exchanged a glance, then no longer hesitating, the two’s Divine Souls departed from Beckett Chalrs and Lily Phoenix’s bodies.

Scarlett Jennings raised her hand to unfold the Domain, within the Domain, releasing a thread of the Soul Tree’s aura.

The Soul Tree’s aura transford in the void into a giant tree, its trunk, guided by power, opening a chaotic gap.

Once again, the ti-space passage opened.
