As the sound echoed, the egg covered with intricate Fire Phoenix patterns slowly cracked open with a line, and then, the Phoenix Aura surged forth from the shell...

Susan was the first to sense the Divine Soul Aura similar to her own, letting out a cry, as a small Fire Phoenix soared into the sky.

It seed to resonate, as the crack in the eggshell widened rapidly, almost instantly breaking open.

A surge of red aura burst from the eggshell, resembling a small fla, chasing after Susan’s Fire Phoenix, and then, as it neared Susan, transford into a little Fire Phoenix identical to him.

With the Phoenix’s birth, a five-colored radiance imdiately appeared above the Royal Palace.

Even through the Barrier, all the birds in the capital seed called upon, once more singing in chorus, gathering in the sky, flying and circling above the Royal Palace.

The scene was similar to before, except this ti, the flock lacked the Fire Phoenix’s guidance.

Yet, knowing who now resided in the Royal Palace, everyone felt much more at ease about this familiar scene, even finding it expected.

Compared to the various reactions from the Royal Palace and across the capital to the peculiar sight of the birds circling, the four in the courtyard remained noticeably calr.

While the Phoenix’s birth was certainly a joyous occasion, they had all witnessed grand spectacles, and thus quietly watched the two little Fire Phoenixes intersect and circle in the sky.

After a long ti, the little Fire Phoenix reluctantly separated from Susan, returning to its Phoenix Egg shell.

A beam of fiery red light emanated from the eggshell, and as the flas and red light faded, upon looking closely, they saw a smooth little baby gripping the edge of the cracked shell, peering out curiously at them.

"Wow, is this the Phoenix? So small?"

Althea couldn’t hold back from speaking, forgetting what she had done before as her tail playfully approached the little baby.

The tip of her furry tail poked directly at the baby’s face.

The baby’s entire face was almost covered by Althea’s tail tip, with two chubby little hands waving cluelessly.

Damian, seeing her teasing the baby, was sowhat helpless and was about to pull her tail away when unexpectedly, the next second, the baby suddenly grasped the tip of the tail and then opened its mouth—chomp.

Biting down.

"Ah!"

Althea exclaid, her tail waving the little baby in the air, a sight that made everyone sowhat anxious.

Finally, Damian managed to detach the little one from Althea’s tail, while she preemptively complained,

"He bit my tail!"

Damian looked at her helplessly, "If you didn’t tease him, he wouldn’t bite you."

Althea didn’t care whether she provoked him first, still glaring at Damian, repeating,

"He bit !"

Damian remained silent for a mont, looking at her, then at the little baby fitting in his palm, and finally said,

"When he grows up, I’ll teach him a lesson."

This siding with kin over reasoning left even Scarlett Jennings and Samuel Chalrs at a loss for words.

Yet Althea was satisfied, no longer concerned with the little chubby baby in his palm and returned to her previous place.

The Phoenix probably had no idea that despite his small size, soone was already thinking of waiting for him to grow up to give him a beating.

Fluttering in Damian’s palm, the next second, Phoenix Flas erged around him.

Damian felt the scorching temperature in his palm but did not release him imdiately until the little baby flapped, with flas forming a pair of Phoenix wings behind him.

The fla-ford wings wobbled as they carried him out of Damian’s hand, wobbling over to Althea, sitting down on the table in front of her, arms open in a hugging gesture.

Althea certainly wasn’t about to hug him, only her tail swayed over again to poke the little thing,

"What are you doing? Provoking ?"

"I think, perhaps he likes you."

Scarlett Jennings said this, and upon finishing, Althea shivered, even retracting her tail.

"Why would he like ? I don’t like him."

She certainly wouldn’t like a baby who’d bitten her.

Althea always acted according to her preferences and would neither favor him because he was a tender baby nor deliberately make things difficult.

Damian knew her temperant, and hearing these words, had little reaction, as this was just like Althea.

Listening to Althea, the baby tilted his head, seeming both to understand and not understand.

His dark eyes rolled as he crawled toward the unfinished milk tea beside her.

Althea couldn’t believe the little guy dared to covet her milk tea, poised to teach him a lesson, when the baby surprisingly hefted the milk tea cup like a little strongman and placed it in front of her.

This gesture left Althea stunned.

This little fellow surprisingly had sharp instincts.

"Fine, I’ll accept you as my little follower for now."

Althea said, taking the milk tea cup and sipping from it.

Seeing this, the Little Phoenix happily squinted his eyes, sitting on the table, glancing around with evident delight.

Seeing this, Damian suggested naming him.

The Phoenix Clan entrusted this Phoenix Egg to him, granting him naming rights, but he didn’t plan to na it himself, instead looking at Althea to do so.

Althea thought that since he was her little follower, she should na him.

Contemplating for a mont, she said,

"When he cracked the shell, the sky was radiant with a five-colored glow, so let’s call him Five-Colored."

Though Samuel Chalrs and Scarlett Jennings already knew this was the Five-Colored Phoenix Egg and knew its na,

hearing its na officially set from Althea’s mouth still moved their hearts.

As if sothing had connected in the mysterious realm at that mont.

Little Five-Colored clearly liked his na, waving at the sky, drawing Susan’s little Fire Phoenix to fly over to him.

Born of the sa Divine Soul, the two naturally were very close.

Only the newly-erged Little Five-Colored had yet to stand firm himself, let alone enhance Susan’s Divine Soul.

Moreover, with the presence of Damian and Althea,

neither Scarlett Jennings nor Samuel Chalrs planned to leave just yet.

...

The Phoenix’s birth was a significant event, even though the Barrier contained much of the Phoenix Aura.

However, those capable of sensing it naturally would.

In addition to the celestial five-colored light and the bird circling phenonon, the perceptive would inevitably detect the anomaly in the Royal Palace.

Just as at this mont,

in a certain palace within the Royal Palace, a man draped in a robe looked at the architectural model of the Royal Palace in the sand table before him, focusing on a certain cracked ancient well, his eyes dark and whispering,

"The Array is damaged, the Phoenix manifests; could there have been a connection all along..."

If such was the case, then this Phoenix...

could not be allowed to remain.
