Late at night, inside the police station.

The woman wearing a black wide-brimd hat had lips red as blood, strikingly bright, her slender legs crossed as she sat in the office, exuding an aura not to be trifled with.

"I am Shen Lu, the lawyer hired by Nan Luzhi, and I am here specifically for the matter concerning his family of three."

After saying this, her subordinate placed a hefty dossier in front of Yan Ren.

Yan Ren saw the comprehensive dossier in front of him and looked up at Shen Lu, who persistently concealed her true appearance, and narrowed his eyes.

"Lawyer Shen, please remove your hat. I need to verify your identity."

Shen Lu’s red lips let out a cold sneer as she removed her hat, revealing her exquisite and gorgeous face, her sharp eyes filled with arrogance.

She looked at Officer Yan arrogantly, "Officer Yan, I demand to see my clients."

The tone left no room for refusal.

Yan Ren observed the mole under Shen Lu’s left jaw, matched it with the photograph on the dossier, and returned the dossier.

He turned to the junior officer outside and said, "Xiao Yang, take Lawyer Shen to see Nan Luzhi."

Shen Lu put her hat back on, regaining her mysterious composure, and walked out of the office in her high heels, heading towards where Luzhi was being held.

The subordinate behind her carefully gathered up the dossier and silently followed her.

Yan Ren watched her back, deep in thought.

It was the first ti he heard the na Shen Lu, and he had no idea from where this lawyer had co.

But judging from her air, it seed that her identity as a lawyer was not simple!

Shen Lu entered the detention center and imdiately saw Luzhi, who was sitting on the bed with a defiant look on his face.

She stood at the entrance, looking at Luzhi inside through the black veil, her red lips curled up.

"Mr. Nan, long ti no see."

Luzhi, who suffered from severe insomnia and couldn’t sleep, heard a sowhat familiar voice, abruptly looked up, and saw Shen Lu.

Seeing the inverted triangle at her collarbone, his eyes instantly brightened, and he stood up straight away.

"Madre, you finally ca!"

The officer opened the door and let Shen Lu in to talk with Luzhi.

Shen Lu walked in, then locked the door, stood guard at the entrance, and kept watch over them all the ti.

Once inside, she said to Luzhi, "Mr. Nan, the situation arose suddenly, and as your lawyer, I flew back overnight from City C specifically to handle this for you."

Realizing what was happening, Luzhi hurried to sit down face to face with her, his eyes full of hopeful light.

"Lawyer Shen, I don’t care by what ans, but you must find a way to get my whole family out of this damned place."

"When you all said you would solve those problems and ensured they would never be discovered, making my daughter the Nan Family’s heiress, and now so easily my foster daughter has discovered it and sent all three of us here."

"You must bear the greatest responsibility for this!"

Just thinking about it, he was filled with anger.

Under the veil, a flicker of irritation passed in Shen Lu’s eyes, but rembering the mission entrusted by the organization, she struggled to suppress her temper.

"Mr. Nan, don’t be anxious, the higher-ups knew about the matter at the earliest ti, and arranged for to have full authority in handling it."

"On the way here, I have reviewed all these cases thoroughly, it’s not difficult, the solution is very simple."

Luzhi looked at Shen Lu, astonished, his tone tinged with suspicion.

"Truly simple?"

Shen Lu, with black-gloved hands propped on the table, interlocked them under her chin, looking through the thin veil at Luzhi.

Using a voice only the two of them could hear, she said: "Mr. Nan, conviction requires evidence, as long as there is no evidence, you are naturally innocent."
