Chapter 1494: Chapter 1592: Protect the Master
With a smack, Dugu Nian crushed the black-dressed woman’s eyeball, staining her palms with blood.
The black-dressed woman’s expression twisted ferocally as her eyeballs regenerated within her eye sockets, ready to look as good as new in re monts.
The blood hole at Dugu Nian’s chest was also healing; the flesh of Immortal beings was far more formidable than that of the Great Longevity, allowing them to regrow even if chopped into several pieces.
“You’ve reached your limit, any action is rely futile,” the black-dressed woman said coldly, suppressing her anger.
Dugu Nian sneered, “So what if I have? Can you kill ?”
“You think I can’t kill you?” Suddenly, the black-dressed woman moved, and when she reappeared, she was behind Dugu Nian.
Dugu Nian’s response was swift; the mont the black-dressed woman vanished, she swung a palm strike behind her.
However, the black-dressed woman was even faster, delivering a fierce kick to Dugu Nian’s waist which sent her flying.
Then, the black-dressed woman’s Heavenly Eye opened on her forehead, pouring down the terrifying power of the Heavenly Eye on Dugu Nian, rendering her unable to move for a mont.
At this critical juncture, Dugu Nian tried to use the power of her Pupil Skill to counter the oppression brought by the Heavenly Eye.
But unexpectedly, a severe pain surged within her soul, and Dugu Nian found it impossible to harness her Pupil Skill, feeling as if her soul was tearing apart.
She had felt this agony before – seven years ago, when she severed half of her soul to preserve Fang Lin’s.
The soul injury, after all, could not be suppressed any longer.

They wanted to step forward to block the black-dressed woman from harming Dugu Nian, but the four of them were not a match for the black-dressed woman and were once again struck down, their injuries more severe than before.
“Good!” Old Yuan Emperor exclaid from below, eager to witness the demise of the Sky Swallowing Palace’s leader.
The others also breathed a sigh of relief; it seed that although the Sky Swallowing Palace’s master was strong, she was still dood to fall. With the black-dressed woman, an Immortal being present, how could the injured leader turn the tide?
With a palm strike, the black-dressed woman hit directly at the back of Dugu Nian, staggering her body and causing blood to spurt from her mouth.
“What a fool, had you not severed half your soul seven years ago, how could you have been brought to such a plight by today?” the black-dressed woman sneered, her left eyeball now fully restored, seemingly holding the winning hand.
Dugu Nian could not speak; her soul injury was too severe, leaving her consciousness confused, only able to feel endless agony.
Just as the black-dressed woman raised her hand to deliver a fatal blow to Dugu Nian, suddenly from below within the Sky Swallowing Palace, a Golden-Haired Beast burst out, roaring as it pounced directly at the black-dressed woman.
“Hmm?” The black-dressed woman saw the Golden-Haired Beast charging but did not take it too seriously. Originally intending to land a palm strike on Dugu Nian, she redirected it towards the Golden-Haired Beast.
The Golden-Haired Beast didn’t dodge; with wide eyes, it bravely endured the black-dressed woman’s blow with its flesh.
An Immortal’s full force palm strike is incredibly powerful, no doubt about it, and the Golden-Haired Beast would definitely be crushed into at sauce, had things gone as expected.
But, contrary to expectations, the Golden-Haired Beast was struck by the woman in the black dress but seed unhard and continued to charge forward recklessly.
“Strange Exotic Beast!” The woman in the black dress was sowhat surprised and struck with her palm repeatedly, trying to kill the Golden-Haired Beast.
However, the resilience of the Golden-Haired Beast was unexpectedly strong; it survived seven or eight blows from the woman in the black dress without dying.
Roar!!!
Finally, the Golden-Haired Beast charged forward, using its body to collide with the woman in the black dress, trying to knock her aside and rescue Dugu Nian.
“You think you can save soone? With you, this beast?” The woman in the black dress sneered and kicked the head of the Golden-Haired Beast.
The Golden-Haired Beast whimpered, obviously not feeling much pain, but still did not retreat and bit Dugu Nian’s arm, trying to take her away.
With a bang, the head of the Golden-Haired Beast was heavily punched by the woman in the black dress.
This ti, the Golden-Haired Beast seed unable to bear it; blood spilled from its mouth, clearly unable to counter the woman’s attacks and only resisting by virtue of its tough body.
Although it was an Exotic Beast, feared by many Demon Beasts, it had not yet fully matured and could only exert limited power, unable to contend with the woman in the black dress.
But the Golden-Haired Beast still did not flee, protecting Dugu Nian steadfastly in front of it, allowing the woman in the black dress to continuously bombard it with fists and palms.
Blood spilled more and more, and the Golden-Haired Beast’s voice grew weaker; it stuck out its tongue to lick the blood on Dugu Nian’s body, using all its strength to try and take her away.
“What a loyal beast for its master, too bad today neither you the beast nor your master can escape death!” The woman in the black dress was sowhat surprised by the resilience of the Golden-Haired Beast; although it didn’t seem to be a highly ranked Demon Beast, its physical body was incredibly strong. She had hit it so many tis that even the Great Long-lived Ones would have been beaten to death by now, yet this Golden-Haired Beast was still not dead.
Dugu Nian seed to hear the whimper of the Golden-Haired Beast, suddenly becoming conscious, and grabbed the arm the woman in the black dress had raised.
Dugu Nian looked down and saw the blood-covered Golden-Haired Beast, and seeing its bloodied nose and mouth, felt a pain in her heart as if it were being cut by a knife.
“You dare hurt it!” Dugu Nian roared furiously, looking demonic as she suddenly exerted force in her hand, and tore off the woman in the black dress’s arm.
“Ah!” The woman in the black dress hadn’t expected Dugu Nian to still have the strength to resist, and hurriedly retreated, her severed arm rapidly healing.
But this was only a mont of clarity for Dugu Nian, her soul injury still prevented her from staying conscious, and she soon fell unconscious again.
The Golden-Haired Beast gripped Dugu Nian’s body, tremblingly escaping towards a distance.
“Where do you think you’re going?” The woman in the black dress blocked the path of the Golden-Haired Beast, her arm still not fully healed, yet she directly kicked out.
The Golden-Haired Beast took this kick and finally had no strength left, falling together with Dugu Nian towards below.
“Are you finally going to die?” The woman in the black dress gritted her teeth, her face wearing a sinister smile.
Just then, an endless surge of death energy burst forth from within the Sky Swallowing Palace.
