The air inside the office distorted.

Ti did not move.

Space did not bend.

She simply appeared.

A woman stepped into existence as if reality itself had made room for her.

Alex’s breath caught.

She was beautiful.

Not in a sharp, overwhelming way—but in a warmth that made the heart ache. Her violet hair flowed like liquid athyst down her back, shimring softly. Her eyes were the sa shade, deep and gentle, carrying endless compassion within them.

Life clung to her.

No—life obeyed her.

Flowers blood beneath her bare feet despite there being no soil. The air felt richer, fuller, as though breathing suddenly mattered more.

She was Elyndra.

The Goddess of Life.

A being who could bring life to anything she touched.

Before Alex could even process her presence—

Another figure materialized beside her.

Light flooded the room.

Golden.

Pure.

Overwhelming.

She was tall, radiant, her golden hair cascading like sunlight given form. Her eyes glowed with the sa brilliant hue, sharp and piercing, as if they could see through lies, souls, and fate itself.

She was astonishing.

Unquestionably.

This was Aurora.

The Goddess of Light.

For a mont—

Alex was completely dazed.

His mouth moved before his brain caught up.

He looked at Chronos and said casually,

"You have really beautiful colleagues, professor."

Chronos’s mouth twitched.

"Do you want another ride?"

Alex stiffened.

"I sincerely apologize."

Before anything else could happen—

Elyndra moved.

She crossed the room in a single step and wrapped her arms around Alex.

His face was buried instantly in her ginormous boobs.

Soft.

Warm.

Comforting.

His mind blanked.

’I... have ascended.’

’I am in heaven.’

Aurora froze.

A vein popped on her forehead.

She didn’t even know why she was angry.

Elyndra lifted her head and glared at Chronos.

"How dare you pressure the child," she said sharply, "and try tricking him into becoming your avatar."

Chronos snapped.

"You idiot! I wasn’t trying to do that!"

He pointed at her as he said.

"Don’t just show up unannounced! This is private property!"

"The kid ssed up. He ssed up badly. And you know it."

"If we don’t do sothing, he’s going to suffer far worse—and you know that."

Elyndra fell silent.

Her expression turned serious.

"I know," she said quietly. "But that still doesn’t give you the right to play dirty without informing us."

Aurora suddenly spoke.

Her eyes flicked toward Elyndra.

"You’re suffocating him with your bosoms."

Elyndra gasped.

She imdiately released Alex.

"Oh my—are you alright, boy?"

Alex staggered slightly, breathing heavily.

He smiled.

"Never been better," he said honestly. "I actually needed that."

He opened his arms.

"Oh, co here—"

Smack.

Aurora hit both Alex and Elyndra on the head.

"There is a serious discussion going on here," she snapped.

Both winced.

Chronos sighed.

"Good job, Aurora. They’re both idiots."

Aurora nodded.

Then she turned to Alex, her expression hardening.

"Listen carefully."

"After the stunt you pulled... your value of existence has dropped below zero."

Alex’s smile vanished.

His expression turned grave.

"Does that an..." he asked slowly, "the universe is going to erase ?"

Elyndra inhaled.

"It should have."

She paused.

Alex’s heart pounded.

"But..."

"But what?" he pressed.

She sighed.

"For so reason... it can’t."

Chronos spoke.

"For so reason, You do not exist in the Akashic Records."

Alex frowned.

"You’re like a ghost that has appeared out of nowhere," Chronos continued, "and is now ssing with tilines, outcos, and destinies."

"The universe cannot erase what does not exist."

Alex swallowed.

"But I do exist," he said. "I’m real, aren’t I?"

Aurora nodded slowly.

"That," she said, "is what baffles all of us the most."

She stared straight at him.

"What the hell are you, Alex?"

"Or rather... who are you?"

She continued,

"Your sister Lily exists in the Akashic Records."

"But you don’t."

Alex took a deep, shaky breath.

"I seriously don’t know what the hell I am," he said quietly, "or who the hell I am."

"Before all this... I lived on a planet nad Earth."

He clenched his fists.

"One day, I died."

"And then I woke up in this body."

Chronos nodded.

"You might think this only happens to you," he said calmly. "But it doesn’t."

"You are not the first."

"And you won’t be the last as it happens many tis."

"Many people transmigrate. Many wake up living soone else’s life."

"So no, Alex—you’re not unique in that regard. It has happened many tis before too you are not the exception there must be sothing else that we are been missing."

"The reason lies elsewhere."

He continued,

"Earth itself is not a noteworthy planet."

"The gods abandoned it long ago."

"They don’t care what happens there."

Alex sighed.

"That explains why Santa Claus never appeared on Christmas," he muttered. "I always knew that bastard stopped caring."

Aurora glared.

"Will you listen carefully?"

"Okay, okay," Alex said quickly. "No need to be mad."

He squinted at her.

She looked away slightly.

"Why...what are you staring at?"

Alex smiled faintly.

"It’s just that you look a lot like Evelyn."

Chronos yelled,

"For the love of god, listen here and stop flirting, you bastard!"

Alex shrugged.

"Chill out, dude. You have my full attention."

"And it’s my first ti hearing a god call another god out."

Chronos laughed darkly.

"Laugh all you want."

"Because you’re going to cry later."

Alex stiffened.

"What does that an?"

Chronos’s expression turned cold.

"The will of the universe is not rciful."

"It has many other ways to make you not exist."

"And worse... to make you wish you didn’t exist."

Alex’s throat tightened.

"What do you an...?"

Aurora answered.

Her voice was quiet.

"We don’t know how much ti you have left."

"But the people you cherish... your loved ones..."

"They will start forgetting you."

Alex’s heart skipped.

"Every mory of you will fade."

"As if you were never part of their lives at all."

Alex’s mind went blank.

His hands began to shake.

Images flashed through his thoughts.

Faces.

Voices.

Smiles.

’Lily...’

’Alicia...’

’Everyone... forgetting ...?’

The room felt unbearably cold.
