"I am dying now..."
The words barely left Zarvok’s lips when sothing ’else’ answered.
A presence—vast, ancient, suffocating—uncoiled inside his mind.
’So... you finally learned the truth of your lineage, Zarvok,’
a voice thundered within his skull.
’And the prophecy as well. How amusing.’
Zarvok’s pupils shrank.
"...Tiamat..."
Laughter echoed through his consciousness.
’You were never ant to rule,’ the Dragon God whispered.
’You were born as my slave and you will die as one too.’
A burning pressure spread through Zarvok’s veins. Black-gold runes crawled across his shattered scales. His muscles twitched against his will.
’KILL HIM,’ the voice commanded.
’KILL ALEX OR DIE TRYING.’
Zarvok scread.
"NO—!"
His battered body rose—
’not by his will.’
The sky split.
A colossal portal tore open above the ruins, bleeding draconic light. One by one, massive silhouettes erged—ancient dragons in their true forms, wings blotting out the Skies.
Their eyes locked onto Alex.
Zarvok’s body convulsed as invisible strings pulled him forward. He clutched his spear, knuckles whitening, every movent tearing through shattered bones.
"Alex...!" he roared, blood spilling from his mouth.
"Hurry... kill ... and save your loved ones... this is your only—!"
His body lunged.
The spear slashed through the air, overflowing with killing intent.
Alex stepped aside effortlessly.
Another thrust.
He slipped past it.
"do you know why I haven’t killed you until now," Alex said calmly.
Zarvok’s fading consciousness struggled against the invasion. "...Why...?"
Alex’s eyes softened—just a fraction.
"You gave five minutes before attacking... so I could evacuate my loved ones. You can say I liked that about you."
His voice cooled.
"If not for that... after what you did to Alicia... I would’ve given you a horrifying death."
Zarvok drew a ragged breath.
Alex continued, "You know a lot about the enemy I’ll fight in the future. You’ll make a good pawn for ."
Confusion rippled through Zarvok’s mind—through ’Tiamat’s’ intrusion.
Then Alex spoke in a low voice.
"Create... death energy."
[Using Cosmic Essence to generate Death Energy.]
Black starlight blood around him—cold, final, absolute.
"Third Form," Alex whispered.
"Celestial Flow."
In a single heartbeat—
He vanished.
Not teleported.
Not dashed.
He simply ’ceased to be where he was.’
To the dragons, it felt like death itself had begun walking.
A streak of black light carved through the sky.
A dragon’s head fell before it realized it had been struck.
Another split in half mid-roar.
Wings, scales, and blood rained across the heavens as Alex flowed between them, each step bending space, each motion severing existence.
He did not swing wildly.
He ’moved.’
And wherever he passed—
Dragons died.
The portal trembled.
Alex appeared before it, blade raised.
He cut—
Not the gate.
But the ’space’ sustaining it.
Reality collapsed.
The portal scread.
Then vanished.
The sky fell silent.
Only ruin remained.
Zarvok’s body finally dropped, control slipping from Tiamat’s grasp.
Alex stood before Zarvok’s broken body.
The battlefield lay in ruins, ash drifting through the fractured sky. For a mont, the world seed to hold its breath.
Then—
A tidal wave of bloodlust erupted from Zarvok’s battered form.
Bones snapped back into place with sickening force. Torn muscles twitched and coiled as if sothing alien were crawling beneath his flesh. His head lifted slowly, eyes glowing with a divine, hateful light.
"I’ll erase every trace if you."
The voice was no longer Zarvok’s.
It was ancient.
Divine.
Absolute.
Yet his body trembled.
Tiamat had seized him—but not completely. Zarvok’s will still resisted, making every movent jagged, every step unstable, as though two beings were tearing at the sa flesh.
Zarvok lunged.
A spear of light ripped through the air.
Alex shifted a half-step to the side.
The attack missed by a breath and obliterated the ground behind him.
Another strike followed imdiately—faster.
Alex leaned back, the blade grazing past his cheek, slicing a strand of silver hair. The shockwave shattered the ruins behind him.
’So even a god can’t fully claim him huh... not yet atleast.
The lizard has strong will power I’ll give him that.’
Zarvok’s body convulsed again, movents uneven, shoulders jerking as if invisible chains were yanking him in opposite directions.
" I’ll kill you!"
In the next instant—
Alex vanished.
He reappeared in front of Zarvok.
His hand pierced straight through Zarvok’s chest.
Blood burst outward.
Zarvok froze, eyes wide, breath hitching as Alex’s arm erged from his back, crimson dripping from his fingers.
Alex leaned close, voice low and cold.
"I am coming for you, Tiamat. You’ve crossed a line this ti... one you never should have."
A furious roar thundered inside Zarvok’s mind.
"You swine... I swear I will slaughter everyone important to you. You are too dangerous to exist. Even if I have to send a thousand more like Zarvok—"
Alex’s gaze hardened.
Inside his mind, his voice was calm.
’Analyze Zarvok’s core. Use death energy. Erase Tiamat’s energy signature—that he is using to control zarvok.’
The system responded without delay.
[ On it, Host. ]
The world within Zarvok inverted.
A vast inner domain unfolded—an ocean of crimson will. At its center Tiamat’s enedy signature, anchored deep within Zarvok’s core, wrapped around his soul like a crown of thorns.
The system began its operation.
[ Scanning targets core.... ]
[ Identifying energy signature... ]
[ Target located: Tiamat’s Signature has been found. ]
[ Modifying the core ... ]
[ Deploying Death Energy. ]
Death energy flowed from Alex’s arm, sinking into Zarvok’s core.
It did not rage.
It did not burn.
It declared finality.
Death energy spread in silent waves, around the divine imprint. Tiamat’s presence reacted violently.
A roar echoed through Zarvok’s soul.
The foreign will thrashed, attempting to reassert dominion.
But death energy did not oppose.
It ended.
[ Authority Severed. ]
[ Nullifying control. ]
[ Divine Mark Detected — Erasing it ]
Tiamat’s presence scread as its anchor unraveled.
[ Erasure at 32 percent... 57 percent... 81 percent... ]
[ Divine imprint destabilized. ]
Tiamat will inside Zarvok collapsed.
The invading will vanished.
[ Correct modification.... Success ]
[ Foreign control: Terminated. ]
Zarvok’s body jerked violently.
His back arched.
A hoarse gasp tore from his throat.
The alien glow in his eyes flickered... then died.
He sagged, breath ragged, control returning to him.
Alex withdrew his hand.
Blood dripped from his fingers. He wiped it away slowly, gaze steady.
"Useless lizards," he muttered.
"Always giving all sorts of trouble."
As he looked at the destruction of Avaloria, he thought to himself.
"I’ll have to do sothing about this too..."
