rlin suddenly fell silent upon hearing the request. Then, he shook his head and replied, "I’m sorry, I don’t have them."
His words startled Graham. His eyes narrowed, and a dangerous aura erupted from his body.
"What do you an? Are you ssing with !?"
His voice rose, thick with murderous intent.
What he hated most were lies. He hadn’t expected rlin to deceive him and make him suffer a loss.
Under that terrifying pressure, rlin collapsed to the ground. His bones felt as if they were being crushed, and blood began to ooze from his nostrils.
"I really... don’t have those items! But... I can trade them for sothing you’ll want even more!"
After saying that, rlin gasped for breath, as if he had used all his strength just to speak.
Graham furrowed his brow. He withdrew his aura and asked coldly, "Tell —what is it?"
rlin let out a sigh of relief and slowly stood up. As he steadied himself, he looked at Graham with a slightly pale face and replied, "I have two more vials of level-nine monster blood. I’ll trade them for this girl. What do you think?"
That was the only option he could think of. As he had said before, a single drop of level-nine monster blood was far more valuable than a mythic-tier item.
Its rarity was extraordinary—those who possessed it would never reveal it, let alone sell it.
Only rlin would dare take such a risk.
"Two more drops of level-nine monster blood?" Graham’s eyes widened in disbelief. "Are you kidding ?"
A single drop was already incredibly valuable, yet the boy in front of him claid to have two more.
It felt impossible—almost too good to be true.
Not wanting to waste ti convincing him, rlin simply snapped his fingers.
In an instant, two vials appeared in the air. Inside each, a single drop of blood floated at the center.
Graham’s heart began to race. If one drop was enough to drive him mad, what about two more?
Desire imdiately took over. He reached out to grab the vials, but rlin was faster and snatched them away.
"What about my offer? Do you accept it or not?"
rlin looked at him with a playful smile.
Despite that smile, his heart ached. To obtain those two items, he had spent around 180,000 system points.
As a result, he now had only 115,000 left. He wanted to complain to the system, but it was still in recovery mode and unreachable.
Only the appraisal and system shop functions were available.
Graham swallowed hard as he stared at the two vials. To be honest, he wanted to take them imdiately.
But trading three mythic-tier items and five legendary ones for just two drops still felt like a loss.
After a long mont of hesitation, he ultimately gave in to his desire.
"Alright, let’s trade both of them for this fox girl!"
rlin remained calm, as if he had expected it. The two quickly completed the exchange.
Graham stared at the two vials in his hands, his eyes burning with desire. Just one drop had already made him stronger—what would happen if he consud the other two?
His power might surge to an entirely new level.
Just the thought of becoming the strongest being in the world sent shivers down his spine.
anwhile, rlin ignored Graham’s excitent and walked toward the fox girl.
He opened the cage and found her unconscious.
As he was about to ask the system about her origin, he rembered that it was still in recovery mode and had no choice but to drop the idea.
He lifted the girl onto his back, then turned to face Graham.
"In that case, I’ll be leaving now, Lord Graham. It’s been a pleasure doing business with you."
After saying that, he walked away. Suddenly, a chilling voice rang out from behind him.
"Leave? Do you think I’d just let you go like that, rlin Clay?"
rlin’s eyes narrowed. In a flash, his figure vanished and reappeared over a dozen ters to the left.
The next second, sothing slamd into the spot where he had been standing. The floor shattered, leaving a hole a ter deep.
rlin turned and glared at the culprit—Graham.
"What do you an, Lord Graham?" he asked coldly.
Dust and smoke obscured Graham’s face before slowly dissipating, revealing his pale complexion and faintly glowing red eyes.
"Still asking such a trivial question, rlin Clay? I didn’t expect you to be this foolish and naive," he chuckled.
Rubbing his fist, he spoke casually, "You’ve already humiliated in front of all the experts in the auction hall. Do you really think I’d just let that slide? Hehehe..."
A terrifying grin spread across his face. "Impossible, rlin Clay... That’s impossible! I am the head of the prominent Arden family. How dare you insult and expect no retaliation? You’re overestimating yourself."
He was a vengeful man. Anyone who dared to cross him was as good as dead.
Earlier, he had deliberately suppressed his anger because he still needed the level-nine monster blood from rlin.
Now that he had it, there was no need to hide his true intentions.
rlin narrowed his eyes and glared at him coldly.
"It’s all your own doing. You tried to trade that single drop of blood for just a legendary-tier item. I offered a higher price, yet you arrogantly refused. Don’t bla for humiliating you in front of everyone."
"Hehehe..." Graham snickered softly. "Do we really need to discuss that? Now, I’ll finish you off, take everything you have, and toss your corpse to my pets. Oh, right—my pets are terrifying monsters, so don’t expect a peaceful death."
After saying that, he clenched his fist and threw a punch forward.
A streak of black light ford in the air and shot toward rlin at incredible speed.
An attack from an expert at the First Spirit Core level was not sothing to be taken lightly.
A single hit could instantly reduce even a Second Spirit Core expert to ash.
Seeing how terrifying the attack was, the hairs on the back of rlin’s neck stood on end.
He could sense death in it. Without hesitation, he cast a speed-enhancing spell and vanished from his position.
The gap between his disappearance and the attack’s impact was less than a fraction of a millisecond.
If he had been even slightly slower, both he and the fox princess on his back would have died.
Just as rlin felt a brief sense of relief, sothing unexpected happened.
Graham suddenly appeared in the air. With a wicked grin, he raised his fist and swung it toward rlin.
Another devastating attack shot toward him.
He tried to dodge, but it was too late...
Boom!
"Hahaha! It’s over now, rlin Clay..." Graham laughed coldly. "You’ve lost."
But suddenly, a calm voice ca from within the explosion.
"Dead? Aren’t you jumping to conclusions a bit too fast, Graham Arden?"
