Almost all the students in the Academy were gathered in front of the Weapon building, staring at the rooftop where the aura was coming from.
The wind still raged, making their hair flutter. As expected, they had all begun murmuring.
"Isn't that Alex? What happened?"
"How am I supposed to know? I just got here."
"Look closely, he's holding soone..."
"Wait... that's true. Don't tell ... did he...?"
Suddenly, a figure swiftly landed on the rooftop, the moonlight revealing his appearance.
"Brad!" Hector exclaid as he instantly recognized the man. The other students also realized who had arrived.
It was Brad, soone the students referred to as... security?
It was questionable, considering the fact that he didn't really act like one. His rank was unknown to the students, and all they knew was that he was a sleepyhead.
Brad currently had a frown on his face, his black hair fluttering wildly as he stared at Alex, whose eyes looked dead.
He began walking towards Alex, even with the aura that still radiated from him. Quite surprisingly, Brad walked past the bluish-green aura like it was nothing, reaching Alex.
"Alex..." Brad muttered, his eyes shifting to the rooftop floor, and that was when he saw it.
"Oh, shit..."
TEN MINUTES LATER...
The sobs of students could be heard as they ford a line and divided into two sides, leaving a space in the middle.
So of them closed their eyes while others kept them open, watching as Brad walked between them, carrying Arthur's lifeless body in his arms.
So students couldn't handle the shock and rushed back to their rooms. Even though not all of them were close to Arthur, they still felt the pain.
Tessa was among those who returned to their rooms. When Brad had taken Arthur's body from Alex's arms, he suddenly dashed off to an unknown location, and she didn't know where he went.
Tessa sighed as she collapsed on her bed, her eyes wide open. "I don't even know what's going on anymore..."
Suddenly, her expression hardened as she rembered sothing. "He killed my parents... so he should also feel pain. He should know how it feels to lose soone close to him."

Arin had finally entered his room and shut the door behind him. He walked towards the bed and sat down.
"Everything went as planned," he muttered. "Just the way I wanted it to be."
Honestly, he wasn't feeling bad about what had just happened. After all, he knew sothing about Alex that others failed to see.
Arin sighed as he removed his cloak and mask before storing them in his inventory. "Alex isn't who he seems to be."
Even though he had to make Alex look bad to get Tessa to follow him, Alex still wasn't the person people thought he was.
"He acts all innocent and pure in front of others, but..." Arin paused, a sharp look in his eyes, "he's way different in reality."
This was part of the reason he didn't feel bad about everything. As for Arthur, his death was part of Arin's grand sche. It wasn't just about causing pain to Alex—it was much more than that.
It wouldn't be an understatent to say that great chaos was coming due to Arthur's death. This was just phase one of Arin's plan.
At that mont, the system screen appeared in front of Arin, displaying a ssage he had expected.
[Quest Complete]
A slight smile appeared on Arin's face as he stared at the system screen. "I don't think that's quite right."
Arin hadn't even finished speaking when the words on the system screen suddenly changed.
[Error...]
[Error...]
[Quest is yet to be completed.]
[Error...]
Arin continued staring at the system screen, waiting for the final ssage.
[Quest is still ongoing.]
[Sub-Quest has been completed.]
Instantly, one of the quests Arin received when he first arrived in this world appeared in front of him.
[Quest 2: Bring chaos to this world & Kill Alex Whiteheart.]
[Reward 1: The title: Harbinger of Chaos.]
[Note: This reward will be given after you cause chaos at least once.]
[Reward 2: ???]
[Reward 3: ???]
But the system ssage didn't end there.
[The Sub-Quest is: Cause chaos at least once.]
[Through your actions and interference, you have altered the storyline, contributing to the death of Arthur ###, Alex Whiteheart's friend, causing students to panic, and bringing chaos to the Academy.]
[The Sub-Quest has been successfully completed.]
Arin smiled instantly. He knew that even though he hadn't completed the entire quest, he would still get a reward.
When he first received this quest after arriving in this world, he noticed that Reward 1 would be given if he caused chaos at least once, and apparently, it was the real deal.
"Though there's still the rest of Quest 2, and even Quest 1," Arin muttered. But for now, he was only focused on himself and his singular goal.
[Note: Only Reward 1 will be given.]
[Reward 1: The Title: Harbinger of Chaos.]
[Reward successfully received.]
Just as Arin thought that was all, the words on the system screen changed again.
[Additional rewards will be given for instilling fear in the hearts of the students of Greenfield Academy.]
"Oh," Arin muttered. "That was quite unexpected."
[Additional rewards: Black Cloak x10 and Black Mask x10.]
Arin couldn't suppress the frown that appeared on his face. He had expected sothing better, but it turned out to be just cloaks and masks.
With no other choice, he checked the information of the items and reviewed their properties.
The black cloak was just like the one he already had. It could repair itself when torn or dirty and was also "Unranked."
The black mask was slightly different from his Extra's Mask. This mask couldn't hide one's presence as much, but it also couldn't be removed by anyone other than the wearer.
At least he now had ten each of these two items. "I should probably give Tessa one of these masks tomorrow."
With that done, it was ti to check out the perks of his new title. But most importantly...
The Blood Core appeared in Arin's hand as he stared at it intensely.
"It's finally ti to do it..."
