Draka's eyes suddenly glowed a deep blue and purple.
He clenched his fists as he stared at Landon.
"Like I said before, I don't want to fight," Landon said. "But if I have to fight you in order to speak with Arin..."
He smiled as he continued,
"... Then you leave no choice..."
As soon as Landon finished talking, Draka instantly moved.
WHOOSH!
Only an explosion of wind could be seen on the spot he was forrly standing.
In the blink of an eye, he arrived in front of Landon, his elongated claws ready to strike.
WHOOSH!
Draka swung his claws with imnse force towards Landon's stomach.
Landon's eyes widened a bit, but he quickly reacted.
Flas instantly erged from the bottom of his feet.
BOOM!
The flas blasted him backwards, evading Draka's claws.
But Draka wasn't planning on stopping.
Once again, he arrived beside Landon in the blink of an eye, and swung his claws again.
But this ti...
"Hehe," Landon chuckled.
He was able to follow Draka's movent this ti around, and this made him react.
He jumped up as flas surrounded the bottom of his feet. He spun, and then...
BOOM!
He delivered a powerful kick to Draka's incoming claws, changing the trajectory of the claws.
Imdiately he landed, he leaped back again, creating distance between himself and Draka.
Arin and Kiara watched in silence.
Arin's expression was unknown while Kiara's amused expression had returned.
"Landon..." Arin muttered.
He was genuinely amazed because he could see how fast Draka was, and yet Landon was able to evade and even deflect his claws.
Yes, he was the son of the King, which ant that it wasn't much of a surprise that he was powerful. After all, he had the best tutors, but still...
Draka stood upright, his eyes never leaving Landon for even a second.
Landon also stared at Draka, never letting his guard down.
A smile ford on his face.
"You're strong," Landon said. "I guess I shouldn't hold back anything."
There was no reaction from Draka, but there was one from both Kiara and Arin.
Kiara just beca even more amused than she already was.
As for Arin, his eyes widened slightly.
'Not hold back anything? Does he an he was yet to go all out?' Arin thought.
"Wait... Are you sure this Landon isn't so secret powerhouse?" Seraphine muttered.
Arin just couldn't ignore Landon's confidence.
'There's sothing making him this confident...' Arin thought.
Suddenly, Landon raised his right hand, and then...
WHOOSH!
Sothing surprising happened... Sothing Arin had never expected in the slightest.
Spikes began forming in the air above Landon.
They were just Spikes, right? There was nothing special about them.
But no, these weren't just normal Spikes.
They were Spikes made from...
"The Darkness Elent..."
Arin's eyes widened as he stared at the Spikes.
More and more began forming in the air above Landon.
The Spikes were black... Very black, like darkness itself.
'I... I don't understand... What the hell is going on? He has the Fire Elent affinity, right? So how... How is he using the Darkness Elent?'
Arin knew that apart from Alex, no other person could use more than one Elent, so what was going on?
If Landon hadn't used the Fire Elent when he got here, Arin would have thought that Landon originally could use the VERY RARE Darkness Elent and he was just the one who didn't rember correctly and thought it was the Fire Elent.
But Landon used the Fire Elent, and now...
"He's using the Darkness Elent... How is that even possible?"
Kiara was just as surprised. She didn't know much about Elents because she was a Dragon, but in the ti she stayed in the human realm, she knew that one couldn't use more than one Elent, and the Darkness Elent was VERY RARE.
As for Draka, he wasn't surprised because he didn't even know how surprising this was in the first place.
Landon flicked his finger and then...
WHOOSH!
The Darkness Spikes rushed towards Draka, and Fire Spikes and Fireballs even joined them.
Draka stared at the incoming attacks, his deanor unchanging.
Suddenly, he raised his right hand, and a bluish purple Energy began seeping out.
As soon as the Energy reached the incoming attacks...
BOOM!
They all began exploding, causing the wind to tremble.
Draka didn't wait. He began dashing towards Landon.
"You can still leave now, and I won't hurt you!" Draka said.
Landon crouched slightly, his smile still present. "I'm sorry, but I really want to speak with Arin."
And then...
BOOM!
He also began dashing towards Draka, the flas beneath his feet propelling him forward with insane speed.
Arin, who was watching the battle, knew that the fire wasn't the main reason why Landon was dashing forward with such speed.
'The Darkness Elent can also buff one's physical capabilities or that of others if the Spellcaster wills it,' Arin thought. 'So he has placed a buff on himself with the Darkness Elent, increasing his speed.'
They both dashed towards each other, the ground trembling and cracking from the re force of their advance.
Finally, they reached each other.
WHOOSH!
Landon instantly swung the daggers that had appeared in his hands a few seconds ago, towards Draka.
SHING! SLASH!
Draka's expression hardened as he swung his claws.
CLANG!
A loud clanging sound was heard followed by sparks from the collision.
The force behind Draka's claws was imnse, and Landon was instantly thrown backwards.
He flipped mid-air and landed swiftly, but Draka was already in the air above him, descending rapidly with his claws poised to strike.
"Shit..." Landon gritted his teeth.
He knew that he wouldn't be able to dodge, so he took the last option.
He quickly raised his daggers, and in that mont...
CLANG!
The clanging sound this ti was louder than the forr one, and sparks flew once again.
Draka was just about to attack again, but then...
WHOOSH!
He felt sothing heading towards him with imnse speed from his right.
Without even turning, he quickly moved his head backwards, and in that instant, a Darkness Spike whizzed past his face.
But because of this distraction, Landon was able to attack.
He kicked Draka's stomach, making him groan lightly, but imdiately after that, Landon jumped up, delivering a knee to Draka's face, sending him stumbling backwards.
Kiara raised a brow. "Hmm..."
Landon began walking forward. "I really don't want to fight..."
Draka quickly regained balance and was about to dash forward again, but then...
Landon smiled, and muttered a single word.
"... Impale..."
Instantly...
WHOOSH!
Black Spikes made from the Darkness Elent began erupting from the ground around Draka.
For a second, his eyes glinted as he glanced at the Spikes.
But then...
RUMBLE! RUMBLE!
The ground began shaking, and if one looked closely, they would notice that a bluish purple Energy was oozing out from Draka's legs.
He remained calm as the ground continued shaking.
anwhile, Landon's smile disappeared as he began looking around.
'What is he doing? My Spikes aren't erging from below him,' Landon thought.
He knew that Draka was the reason why the ground was currently shaking, and he also noticed that none of his Darkness Spikes have erged below Draka.
'He must be doing sothing...?'
Landon could already feel himself losing balance, but he quickly used a Spell, and a layer of Darkness appeared below him.
The Darkness below him began floating, making him levitate in the air, away from the rumbling.
'Shit... He should stop whatever he's doing that's making the ground tremble,' Landon thought. 'I can't stay in the air for too long. This Spell consus a lot of Mana.'
Draka continued staring at Landon with a calm expression.
'This Darkness stuff that he's using is trouble,' Draka thought.
He could feel it. The Darkness Elent that Landon was using was powerful, and he knew that there were more things that Landon could do with it that he still hadn't revealed.
'I shouldn't drag this for too long before he'll start displaying so disturbing tricks,' Draka thought.
With this thought, he looked at Kiara, who was imrsed in the battle between him and Landon.
"My princess, can I?" Draka asked.
Even though it sounded like his question was incomplete, Kiara instantly understood what he ant.
She smiled,
"Yes, go ahead. That Darkness Elent is quite troubleso and tricky. Moreover, we do not have too much ti on our hands right now," she said. "That boy surely has more tricks up his sleeves. There's no ti for that."
With her arms folded, she continued talking as she began turning her head slowly towards Arin's direction.
"Moreover, we still have to get the Prin- huh?"
As soon as Kiara looked at where Arin was standing, her eyes widened.
She began looking around hastily, her brows furrowed.
"Where did he go...?"
Arin was no longer beside them.
Well, she didn't panic too much.
She closed her eyes, and the next few seconds, her eyes snapped open.
"There you are..."
