"One down... Eleven left..."
The remaining eleven Vampires instantly felt a chill run down their spines.
But why?
Wasn't the person in front of them just a puny human?
How was he able to kill one of them?
Their eyes widened as they stared at Arin, who had already turned and was now staring at them.
Even the fourteen residents of the village, who were scared but ready to fight, were speechless as they watched the dead Vampire's body fall.
Among the eleven Vampires, the one standing at the back furrowed his brows.
"You guys! That human clearly did sothing that made him move fast... M... Maybe he even used sothing!"
The Vampire added,
"But see... He's not moving again, which ans he can't use whatever he used anymore!"
The Vampires quickly snapped out of their daze after hearing what their comrade said.
But even with that, for so reason, they still couldn't attack this human.
It was as if their feet were stuck to the ground.
Suddenly, they all felt an unknown Energy, making them turn back instantly.
But then...
WHOOM!
A black portal erged from behind the Vampire at the back of the group.
Before he could even realize what was going on, a figure erged from the portal, and then...
SLASH!
With a slash of his axe, the Vampire's head was instantly cut off.
It fell on the ground... Dead.
Arin whispered, "Two down, ten left..."
Before any of the Vampires could react, Leon instantly jumped back into the portal and appeared beside Riya.
Though he just killed a humanoid being for the first ti, he didn't feel any remorse. After all, it was a Vampire.
A Vampire with dangerous intentions.
Normally, he was scared of Vampires, but two things made him overco that fear for a second.
Firstly, he knew that he would eventually have to fight the Vampires.
It couldn't be avoided.
So why not just start now?
And secondly...
Leon grinned as he stared at the masked lady beside him whose na he still didn't know.
'I bet she's thinking, oh! He's so strong. Hehehe.'
At this point, the Vampires had already realized that this human in front of them, and probably even the four humans behind him, weren't normal.
Two of their own had been killed already.
They knew what to do, but they were just waiting to hear it.
And they didn't have to wait for long.
The red-haired Vampire, who was the leader, clenched his fist as he glared at Arin and the other four.
They just ca out of nowhere and interrupted their plan.
At this point, there was only one thing that could be done.
"ATTACK!"
The red-haired Vampire roared.
And in that instant, the Vampires suddenly had the courage to move.
Moreover, their leader was moving with them.
But apart from that...
"He's using a Skill, that's why they suddenly look fearless," Seraphine said.

He now had a slim build and a chiseled face.
This was the transformation that took place when he first took the Shadow Seed.
His second transformation was the one with scales.
Leon felt his strength increasing as, due to his transformation, his Dark Energy had been released.
With his current strength, he felt slightly confident.

The ten Vampires dashed in different directions, aiming to attack all of them.
Arin squinted his eyes as he stared at the fourteen individuals who were still holding their weapons and watching everything unfold.
'I didn't expect Vampires to be here, but I can use this to my advantage,' he thought.
Two Vampires were dashing towards him while the other eight were dashing towards Riya, Tessa, Leon, and Ethan.
Without wasting ti, Arin decided to move.
BOOM!
The ground beneath his feet was destroyed as he blasted off towards the two incoming Vampires.
The two Vampires instantly summoned nurous Blood Spikes and sent them hurling towards Arin.
Arin didn't slow down a bit.
And just when the Vampires thought that the Blood Spikes would definitely hit Arin...
He disappeared from their line of sight.
"Huh?"
"Above you..."
As soon as the first Vampire looked up, the first thing he saw was Arin descending with a sword.
WHOOSH! SLASH!
The Vampire's body was cut into two before he could even think.
The second Vampire's eyes widened.
'Ho... How did he get to the air so fast...?'
Out of panic, the Vampire attacked.
"AGHHHHH!"
A sword made of Blood Energy appeared on his right hand.
He dashed and swung it towards Arin with speed and force, but Arin instantly moved forward.
Before the sword could reach him, he grabbed the Vampire's wrist, stopping the sword.
He jumped slightly and spun his body, and then...
WHOOSH!
His right leg shot forward like a bullet, and before the Vampire could dodge...
BAM!
The kick connected with his head.
The Vampire's head instantly flew away as it separated from his body.
Arin landed on the ground.
"Four down, six to go..."
anwhile, the others were also fighting.
"Hamr Art, First Arc: Wind's Response!"

Ethan instantly made a throwing motion with his hamr.
The force generated from the motion rushed towards the Vampire who was approaching him.
The air trembled and ripples ford as the force moved rapidly.
The Vampire sensed the attack and instantly leaped up.

The ground was destroyed, and the Vampire landed swiftly before resuming his dash.
Ethan furrowed his brows.
He activated another Warrior Art.
Suddenly, his legs began trembling...

With a loud booming sound, he dashed towards the Vampire.
With every step he took, the ground trembled.
The Vampire grinned as he raised his hands.
"Don't think you can stop !"
Instantly, a large hamr made of Blood Energy ford in the Vampire's hand.
In that sa instant, the both of them reached each other.
"HAHAHAHA!"
The Vampire laughed maniacally, and then...
WHOOSH!
He swung his hamr towards Ethan.
Ethan made an abrupt stop, but that abrupt stop was part of the Warrior Art he was about to use.
Suddenly, his hamr glowed with a pale blue light and it began vibrating.
With that, a single word left Ethan's mouth as he swung the hamr towards the Vampire's incoming hamr.
"Crush..."
WHOOSH!
The two hamrs collided.
The result?
BOOM!
A destructive shockwave instantly spread out from the impact of both hamrs.
As for the Vampire, his Blood Energy hamr was destroyed.
But that was not all.
The right side of his body was nowhere to be found.
He fell on the ground with a thud as Ethan walked towards him.
With an eerie grin, Ethan raised his hamr.
"Die..."
BAM!
The Vampire's head was crushed.
As for Tessa, she was fighting two Vampires.
The first one dashed towards her while creating Blood Spikes.
With a snap of his finger, the Blood Spikes rushed towards her.
WHOOSH!
She didn't slow down.
Instead, she kept dashing forward with her sword raised.
And as soon as the Spikes reached her, she began swinging her sword, deflecting them.
CLANG! CLANG! CLANG!
Sparks flew as she deflected the Blood Spikes with precision.
But then...
WHOOSH!
The second Vampire arrived beside her.
With a grin, he swung his elongated claws.
Though he wasn't aware of the fact that Tessa had been absorbing the sounds from the battle.
She even absorbed the sound from a certain loud booming sound which occurred when Ethan's hamr and the Vampire's hamr clashed.
The Vampire's claws were just about to reach her, but then...
CLANG!
A loud clanging sound was heard as Tessa twisted her body and blocked the claws with her sword.
The Vampire was instantly pushed backwards, which surprised him.
"Wait... Why is she that strong...?"
All the sound Tessa absorbed, she used them to boost her strength, so she was able to push the Vampire back just by blocking the attack.
The first Vampire, whose Blood Spikes she was blocking before, instantly leaped towards her.
The second Vampire also dashed towards her again, but this ti, they didn't expect what happened.

Tessa clapped.
But sothing else happened...

A loud piercing sound suddenly entered the ears of the Vampires.

Both of them roared in pain as they gripped their ears.
The Vampire who leapt before fell on the ground, blood oozing out from his ears.

She swung her sword, removing the blood that was on it.
Her eyes quickly found Arin, who was standing in front of another Vampire.
It was the red-haired Vampire... The leader of this group of Vampires.
