Arin's eyes snapped open as he glanced around, noticing that it was already morning.

"Hmm?"

Roxanne instantly moved backward and bowed. "Greetings, Master."

Arin nodded his head before asking, "Were you the one who tapped ?"

He had felt soone tapping him rather rapidly, which was why he was forced to open his eyes.

"Yes, it was ," Roxanne said.

Before he could ask why she tapped him, she had already continued talking.

"It was already morning, and I know that it's usually around this ti you start getting prepared for classes," she said. "I felt like you would be late if I didn't tap you."

"Oh," Arin muttered.

'I got too invested in hardening my Blood Energy that I seed to forget that it would already be morning,' he thought.

"Thank you," he said as he got up from the floor.

"You're welco," Roxanne said, bowing again as she watched him enter the bathroom.

A few minutes later, Arin walked out of the bathroom while talking with Seraphine.

"So you're behaving like this because I ignored you yesterday?" Arin asked, squinting his eyes.

If Seraphine were currently in her physical form, Arin was sure that she would have pouted at his question.

"It's worth getting angry over," she replied. "I kept asking you what the problem was, but you didn't even reply."

Arin sighed. "Sorry, Seraphine. Don't worry, I'm fine now. It wasn't worth talking about."

Seraphine sighed. "Okay. You're lucky Roxanne decided to tap you."

"You would've been imnsely late," she added.

Arin nodded as he finished wearing his uniform.

He kept wondering if his current relationship with Seraphine was okay or if he needed to change it.

'When we talk to each other, it doesn't seem like I'm her Master,' Arin thought. 'She's even capable of insulting .'

But thinking about it, he liked it that way. He knew that Seraphine wouldn't be able to betray him due to the fact that she had pledged full submission to him, but that didn't make her always keep quiet or talk only when asked a question.

She talked whenever she liked and spoke so casually.

'It's better that way. I don't want to be so kind of person that is feared by my allies, and at the sa ti, they'll still have respect.'

Roxanne transford back into her bracelet form, and Arin wore it before exiting the room.

"Bye!"

He heard Seraphine's voice from inside before shutting the door.

She was still continuing her morning practice, so he had to leave her in the room. Moreover, when her ti was up, she would be in Arin's head again.

As soon as Arin exited the dorm building, he saw Hector standing not too far away.

The way he stood made it seem like he was here to deliver a ssage, and when Arin watched him, he noticed that he was talking to other boys coming out of the dorm building, further strengthening Arin's suspicion.

"Let's see what this is about," he muttered.

With that, he walked toward the direction of the Main Academy building, and he would surely have to pass by Hector.

As soon as he got closer to Hector, the latter stretched out his hand, stopping Arin.

With a smile, Hector spoke. "Hmm... I think..."

He furrowed his brows, seemingly trying to rember sothing as Arin just stared at him.

"Yes... Arin, right?" Hector asked. "Lina's brother."

"Correct," Arin said with a nod.

Hector nodded back before he continued. "The principal asked to deliver a ssage to all the first-year male students."

"Man, I've been standing here for a while now, delivering the ssage," he added, his expression turning into a slight frown. "My legs hurt already."

Arin raised a brow. "What ssage?"

"He said all the first-year students should gather in the Hall this morning," Hector said. "He ntioned that it was important, so nobody should branch sowhere else."

After a few more seconds of explaining, Arin understood Hector's ssage.

From what Hector said about the tone the principal used, it seed like it was VERY important. He also ntioned that anyone who didn't arrive in the Hall on ti would be punished.

"No wonder they're all walking hastily," Arin murmured, staring at the students quickly heading toward the Hall.

'What could possibly be the issue?' Arin thought. 'Well, it seems I'll have to thank Roxanne again for tapping ... I would've been in trouble.'

"I'll get going then," Arin said to Hector, who was already delivering the ssage to other male students coming out of the building.

"Okay, I'll join you all in a minute. Your sister is the one delivering the ssage to the females."

Arin nodded and began walking toward the Hall.

'Since it's the Hall for the first-year students, that ans the second-year students won't be there. Maybe they're not involved? Or they've already been told whatever Orion is going to tell us?'

Before he knew it, he had already reached the Hall. He entered inside and was t with the crowd of students who were already inside.

Even with all the students inside, the Hall was quiet, and Arin instantly spotted the reason.

The teachers were all in the front, standing on the raised platform, their eyes never leaving the students, making sure they were quiet.

Arin stood at the back as his eyes traced the teachers until he eventually reached Riya.

"Huh?" Arin couldn't help but be slightly surprised.

Riya was staring at him intensely, surprising him slightly that she had already seen him.

He stared back at her, and they seed to communicate with their eyes.

Arin's eyes read, "What is happening?"

Riya seed to understand as she squinted her eyes and closed them for a second before opening them again. Her eyes read, "It's not too serious."

Arin folded his arms as he averted his gaze.

A few seconds later, the Hall was already filled with the first-year students, and Orion hastily walked in, joining the teachers on the raised platform.

The students didn't pay attention to his expression, but Arin did.

'Is Riya sure that it isn't serious?' Arin thought, observing Orion's expression.

He could see that Orion was trying to hide his tension. He was doing a good job at it, but he still couldn't completely hide it, and Arin was able to notice.

Orion cleared his throat, gaining the attention of the students before he began, "I know that this is quite the unexpected gathering, but it is very important, like the ssage ntioned."

Arin also noticed that Orion was talking quite hastily, which wasn't his usual style of talking.

'Sothing is definitely wrong...'

What Arin had currently noticed wasn't really much—just small details that could an anything—but like Riya said, "Any little observation, no matter how little, shouldn't be overlooked."

The students were all wondering what Orion was talking about, but they didn't have to wait because he had already continued.

"The King will be coming to this Academy..."

Silence!

Yes, the Hall beca silent as soon as they all heard what Orion said.

The teachers already knew, so they weren't as shocked as the students. Though, they had been just as shocked when Orion first told them.

Before any student could even begin murmuring, Orion added,

"And he'll be here any mont from now..."

And then...

"Did I just hear correctly?"

"The King? Coming to this Academy? Why?"

"Oh my... Is this good news or bad news?"

The students were all confused. So were saying it was bad news, while so were saying it was good news.

So were stuck, not knowing what to feel about it.

'No wonder Riya said it wasn't too serious,' Arin thought.

He couldn't help but be amused by the reaction of the students.

It was just like high school on Earth—when students would be told that special inspectors sent by the governnt were coming to visit. So would be glad, while others would be tense.

"Why were we tense exactly?" Arin couldn't help but mutter.

Orion instantly clapped his hands, making the students close their mouths.

"Now, I believe that you all do not want to disrespect the King, right?"

The students nodded in response.

"Good. So, make sure to remain calm when he arrives..."

"Do not make unnecessary noise and be on your best behavior."

"When he arrives, that is not the ti to make jokes and ss around," Orion added.

"By doing that, you are not only being respectful to the King, but you are also showing that you are well-trained and upholding the reputation and standards of this Academy."

"Is that clear?!" he asked in a booming voice.

"Yes, Sir," the students all replied in unison.

"And also, the King will et you all in your different classes, so your Magic Theory teacher will begin teaching and stop imdiately when he arrives."

Arin now understood why Riya said it wasn't too serious, but he didn't realize that he wouldn't be agreeing with that if he knew why the King was coming.

It was, indeed, serious...
