Chapter 63: That’s it? Seriously?

"Tch. Your figures are terrible—just clumsy muscles everywhere. You must be from the imperial army," Rosalia said, glancing at their bodies. "Phield, don’t stare so blatantly. Trust —my figure is way better than theirs."

The little girl planted her hands on her hips, wearing an expression that clearly said, Are you seriously comparing them to ?

Having been called out by Rosalia, Phield still upheld a gentleman’s principles and appreciated their bizarre performance art openly. "So... what exactly are you trying to do? Also, could you maybe take a bath? That sll—"

The overwhelming stench of seawater could be detected from twenty ters away.

The two won kept their eyes shut, saying nothing, murmuring incomprehensible prayers.

"They’re waiting to be eaten by bugs," Rosalia said calmly, gripping the Greatsword of Gluttony. "Looks like cultists embedded within the army. Unfortunately for them, their hopes are about to be crushed."

"Be careful," Phield warned, raising his shield defensively in case the Grudge Widow Spiders attacked.

Less than half a minute later, countless corrupted spiders flooded in through the cave entrance, like a slowly advancing black tide. Before the smaller spiders could even reach Rosalia, a Grudge Widow Spider the size of a motorcycle leapt forward impatiently.

It twisted grotesquely in midair, spinning several tis before shooting out its razor-sharp legs, stabbing straight at Rosalia.

"A freshly born Tier-One creature, and you dare attack ?"

As they t, Rosalia casually reached out. Her pale hand firmly caught the spider leg, then with a violent swing, flung the Grudge Widow Spider like a kite with its string snapped, smashing it into the cave wall.

Before it could even scream, the Greatsword of Gluttony ca down, cleaving the spider straight down the middle. Blood sprayed everywhere.

"Skree—"

The rest of the corrupted spiders had arrived.

"Just food."

Rosalia seized the chain, maximizing her attack range, and swung the Greatsword of Gluttony in a wide arc. The instant her palm moved, the air itself was torn apart by terrifying force, producing a piercing sonic boom.

Boom—

Wherever the greatsword and its trailing chain swept past, a massive explosion of blood mist erupted. Amid countless shrieks and the sound of bodies being sliced apart, the open space inside the cave was instantly carpeted with filthy blood and severed limbs.

"Damn... that damage radius is terrifying," Phield muttered as he looked at the completely cleared spiders, feeling oddly relieved. But recalling that Rosalia had once been an enemy, a chill ran down his spine. "If she had ignored Ashina back then and charged straight into a crowd..."

Streams of life essence surged violently into the greatsword, transforming into blood threads that flowed back into Rosalia’s body.

"More. Give

more—I get more excited the more I kill."

Rosalia’s pupils trembled with exhilaration as she unleashed several terrifying slashes.

"Divine Technique—Endless Severance!"

Three sword waves infused with corruption and death tore through the air, even splitting the cave walls apart. They slamd into the incoming spider tide, plowing forward for dozens of ters. Everything in their path—spiders, trees, stones—was utterly shattered.

"Using a divine technique already? You’re courting death."

The two mad won stopped chanting, sneering coldly.

Phield shrugged calmly. "Why can’t we talk this out? Maybe our territory could cooperate with your organization—arms, divine artifacts, even slaves are negotiable. I recently obtained sothing called Vigor Elixir. Might help you recover so femininity."

"With you? You think you’re worthy?" The red-haired woman burst into laughter. Years of training had hardened her chest like armor—when she laughed wildly, it held no aesthetic appeal whatsoever. "You short-sighted nobles will never understand the world we intend to build."

Phield was speechless. These people abused won and behaved like deranged zealots. He looked utterly disgusted. "Are you insane? Could you at least finish a sentence for once?"

"Heh. In short—people like you must die," the red-haired woman said coldly. "Don’t think Divine Chosen can protect you. Divine techniques aren’t sothing you can spam."

"Divine Technique—Endless Severance!"

The mont she finished speaking, Rosalia activated the technique again. She had already accumulated enough life energy—this was her second cast.

This ti, the scale and power were even more terrifying. Seven wave-like sword energies slowly swept out before the red-haired woman’s stunned eyes. Wherever they passed, spiders exploded apart, filthy blood and limbs scattering across the ground, forming a nauseating carpet of flesh.

"Savage woman. Is that all?"

"Can’t you bring more? More!"

Vast quantities of pure life force poured into Rosalia’s body, her small fra gradually growing into that of a young maiden. Even her voice matured.

"W-what kind of monster is that...?"

The two mad won stumbled back in unison.

This wasn’t how it was supposed to go.

Wasn’t the divine power ant to run dry, forcing a retreat, followed by being drowned and devoured by spiders?

Phield had lost his patience. Mimicking their tone, he spoke coldly and arrogantly, "You think you’re worthy of knowing? Go et God."

Unlike ordinary Divine Chosen, Rosalia’s life-burning divine technique suited her perfectly. With the ability to absorb life, she only grew stronger the longer the battle dragged on. She wasn’t soone you could fight head-on—you needed guerrilla tactics, ranged suppression, or overwhelming firepower. For instance, Ashina’s divine technique could obliterate one of Rosalia’s forms outright and damage her divine artifact.

Within a minute, Rosalia unleashed Endless Severance for the third ti.

Countless sword waves nearly flattened the entire area around the cave.

The corrupted spiders were completely exterminated.

Inside the cave, the remaining Grudge Widow Spiders had scread their throats raw, yet could no longer summon reinforcents. They stood there motionless.

Phield could even see fear reflected in their compound eyes.

"Is the ball over already? I’m only half full—I haven’t even enjoyed myself yet."

Rosalia turned gracefully. Then the greatsword, wrapped in bloodlight and ferocious montum, shot out at extre speed, smashing each Grudge Widow Spider into paste and splattering them across the stone walls.

When Rosalia’s unfriendly gaze swept over them, the quieter madwoman lost control—yellow liquid stread down her thighs, and clarity returned to her eyes.

Hah. Now you know fear.

So arrogant just a mont ago.

Phield nearly laughed out loud.

"Wait...wait! Stop! What you said earlier—we can talk! I’ll tell you everything. We’re from—"
