Chapter 140: Violet also betrayed the corrupted
"That’s fine, but we need to plan the location first."
Phield called Kaor to the study to discuss where the reservoir should be built.
While Phield was pondering the reservoir, sothing unusual happened on Rosalia’s side.
"Thank you, outsider." A gentle and familiar female voice suddenly sounded behind Rosalia.
"There’s no need to thank , Violet. I saved you only to secure a Divine Chosen for my lord."
Rosalia turned around. Her entire deanor exuded an elegant calmness, completely different from the aura she carried when she was cutting people down. Still, she muttered under her breath, "When did she get behind ... what a ghostlike freak."
Her perception abilities were terrible. Fortunately, her durability was high enough that she wasn’t afraid of sneak attacks.

Rosalia, currently in her youthful form, clearly wasn’t the sharpest when it ca to thinking things through. Watching the trembling Violet, she gave a wicked grin and imdiately started making outrageous remarks.

Violet spat out a mouthful of bloody phlegm with obvious disgust. Her lips moved slightly as she revealed a shocking piece of information.

Rosalia couldn’t process it for a mont. She imdiately grabbed the Greatsword of Gluttony, her eyes sharpening.

Phield felt his whole body heating up after Rosalia’s teasing. Unfortunately, this woman was a master of empty talk—visible but untouchable. She imdiately hid back inside the greatsword, and there was no way he could just drill a hole through a divine artifact.

about Turnip Village."
Rosalia then recounted Violet’s story in detail.
"Do you think it’s credible?" After finishing, Rosalia instead asked Phield. "It sounds convincing, but could it be a trap?"
