"The battle of the future?"
Chu Yi glanced at the young man, was he the lapdog of Ku Rong?
With a casual wave, nine Dragon Child phantoms, wrapped in a layer of golden thunder, descended, engulfing and incinerating Li Xiaoyao into ashes.
But in the next mont, he was restored to his original state.
The young man nad Li Xiaoyao, unaware that he had been killed once by Chu Yi, flaunted an air of arrogance, assuming the imposing stance of a righteous leader, forming a sword seal with his hands, sending a sword light straight up to the sky, transforming into a mix of azure and purple aura, spitting forth electric glimrs.
But within Chu Yi’s Clock Eye, his body appeared like a decaying corpse, with a yin-yang fish-shaped beetle parasitized on his waist and abdon, his arms transforming into giant serpentine tentacles—one blue and one purple—with his decaying facial skin riddled with holes that spewed forth maggots wriggling gleefully.
His lips arrogantly muttered to himself:
"To deal with you, my Flying Sword is enough for you to boast."
Sizzle!
The Lightning Fist, imbued with the Power of the World, blasted Li Xiaoyao, only for him to restore again in the blink of an eye.
"The entanglent of past and present ti, akin to my Retrospection Skills, immune to attacks."
Chu Yi was astonished; it was his first encounter with a formidable being from the ti elent.
Boom!
An ancient aura perated as yet another individual erged from the portal, standing three ters tall with muscles forged like steel, forming a fleshy armor, wielding gigantic spears in each hand, while his lower body was a giant scorpion.
The old king of the desert, the mightiest in the Western Regions, Capricorn.
Upon his entrance, he harmonized with heaven and earth, fixing a grim gaze on Li Xiaoyao, coldly stating:
"Li Xiaoyao, our victory or defeat is yet to end, let’s settle it in the future!"
"Hey, hey, don’t you see we have an enemy here?"
Li Xiaoyao’s mouth twitched, waving his hand in refusal: "We bear the heavenly mission, naturally to save the world. Of course, if you were a pretty lady, I wouldn’t mind sparring with you."
Seeing Capricorn’s anger, Li Xiaoyao hastily added: "Let’s save the world first, then we can duel in the arena!"
Puff!
Another one stepped out from the portal.
"Gentlen, don’t ss around, kill the demon first."
The lodious soft voice was incredibly pleasant.
The void rippled as a White Lotus blood, unveiling a woman in a palace dress, her immortal beauty srizing, making Li Xiaoyao salivate.
The Saintess of the Jade Pool, Bai Rong.
Yet in Chu Yi’s ears, the voice was sharp and piercing, appearing as a painted skin; the stunning shell unveiled a ghastly specter underneath, chaotic, evil, twisted, mad... words couldn’t depict it.
From the portal erged waves of Radiant Moon auras that once dominated an era, along with traces of powerful beings born within innurable worlds, sent by ancient tis to the present, encircling Chu Yi from all sides, heaven and earth.
For a mont, banners blocked out the sky, and divine soldiers descended.
Chu Yi remained silent, the onslaught of killer moves disappearing like stones sunk in the ocean.
It was like being an audience at a theatrical play, waiting for the main characters and supporting roles to take stage.
When the performance begins, they would drag him onto stage, casting him as the great villain, with the protagonists and their companions shouting about bonds and the future as they charge forth to overthrow the boss.
"Manipulating causality in life, receiving ti’s past assistance."
"Hahaha, can it even be played this way?"
Chu Yi laughed instead of getting angry; this Ku Rong who dwelt within the river of ti had many tricks indeed.
Man-made children of destiny, crafting Radiant Moon-level powerhouses and sending their peak monts to the future to partake in the battles.
Rather than calling Li Xiaoyao and the others Radiant Moons, it seed more like segnts of ti cast into the future.
This made Chu Yi even more excited, hunting Ku Rong, extracting materials to make the Clock Eye great again!
It was a good thing for Chu Yi!
If Ku Rong was killed by him all at once, the extracted material would be too inferior, unfit as the main course of a banquet.
"Demon, you’re nearing your end, what are you babbling for! Co over here and die!"
Amidst the armies, a cloud-traveling Taoist scolded, palm aid at Chu Yi, summoning Divine Thunder from the nine heavens to exorcise demons.
No sooner had he spoken, the surrounding void torn by teeth into several rifts, as layered mouths with sharp fangs lunged over, tearing him into pieces all over.
"No, what is this damned thing? Taoist Lord, save !"
Beast-like mouths sprouted over the Taoist, only to realize he was parasitized by sothing, human skin tearing, flesh devoured, within a blink becoming a tattered human skin devoid of flesh, drifting away.
Tao Tie technique.
No matter what you were, even a concept could be consud.
Tasting the swallowed Taoist, transforming into a chunk of pure ti, the taste was rather nice.
"Last ti in the Underworld of the Longwu Dynasty, I enjoyed a buffet once; never thought there’d be another buffet here."
"Ku Rong, you old dog, you are a good person!"
Chu Yi surveyed the guarded indigenous mighty ones, licked his mouth, and broke into a smile.
The corners of his mouth couldn’t help but curve up further, the smile becoming more insane, and the descending silhouette stretched and twisted like a devil.
"What kind of Divine Power is this! Even I can’t discern it!"
"Be cautious, in the prophecy, he’s a great demon capable of world destruction!"
"Today we gather here, setting aside the prejudices between righteousness and evil, united to save the world! Kill!"
"..."
With that, Chu Yi took the initiative, the heroes were roused to rage, the foremost mighty of the Western Regions stepped out, staring him down coldly.
"Demon, killing you, this king can have a contest with that drunkard Li Xiaoyao."
Capricorn didn’t regard Chu Yi at all; his target had always been Li Xiaoyao.
"This guy... fine, let him test the demon’s strength a bit."
Li Xiaoyao was speechless but stood aside, hands forming a Flying Sword, ready to strike at any ti.
Upon hearing this.
Chu Yi glanced at the battle maniac, grabbing the Ten Thousand Souls Banner, calmly stating: "You’re too weak, just a roadside obstacle, move."
"Have you not tasted failure? This king shall satisfy you!"
Capricorn glanced sharply, filled with rage, grasping a spiral spear with Divine Power, the air around imbued with a layer of toxic mist before being shredded by ferocious Mighty Power.
Bang!
Capricorn lunged in a near flash, piercing through Chu Yi’s body, relishing the sound of spearing flesh.
The next mont.
He froze, seeing Chu Yi, pierced and bearing this enormous damage with the Palace of the King of Hell, looked up at him with a hint of confusion:
"Is that all?"
"Die for this king!"
Capricorn’s face changed drastically, his head turning into that of a scorpion, claws stretching to slash at Chu Yi.
Bang!
Before he could bite, the half-scorpion demonic body sprouted fangs, nurous gluttonous mouths the size of bags subrged him, shattering his Radiant Moon status.
The terrifying devouring force firmly trapped Capricorn, vitality rapidly waning, dizziness overwhelming him as the once king.
Whoosh!
The Flying Sword pierced through the air, severing Capricorn’s limbs, rescuing him.
"What kind of demon, not even Capricorn withstands a single move."
Li Xiaoyao protected everyone behind him, face full of uncertainty and doubt.
Chu Yi restored his appearance, his Profound Robe fluttering as he gazed at the strong figures erging from ti, licking his lips, eyes gleaming with greed, pondering where to strike, making everyone shiver.
Just like,
a hungry wolf entering a sheepfold.
Raised by Ku Rong under heavenly destiny, clearly, it was a grand feast for Chu Yi!
