"The great Blood Race Queen was resting, so only her loyal ministers could summon you."

Chu Yi smiled and offered a less-than-friendly greeting.

On his shoulder, Bika also popped its head out, its tiny paw waving a cute greeting.

"Who are you? A re lowly human, and you think you can make decisions for the Queen?" Jean was displeased.

Aren’t humans just blood food? What exactly is the Queen up to, letting her most recent Embrace show up like this? Is she looking down on us?

The Blood Race mbers who had co to offer their allegiance also had their pride. They were from ancient, noble families, incomparable to the nouveau riche, and naturally sought recognition.

Due to the deliberate concealnt of information, the Blood Race outside only knew that the Janet family was responsible. They had no idea about Chu Yi, only that the Janet family possessed a powerful Beast Tar. And since Chu Yi was so young, they mistakenly assud he was the Queen’s most recent Embrace. It was not unheard of for so Beast Tars to convert to the Blood Race to extend their lifespan.

"Oh." Chu Yi smiled faintly and glanced at everyone. "I know you’re all puzzled about , but Her Majesty has instructed that our Rebel Army is to overthrow the Duke’s rule."

"If you’re willing, you’re welco to join the Queen’s ranks and pursue great deeds together."

The three Counts pondered, suddenly feeling sothing was amiss. Wasn’t this supposed to be an alliance? How did it turn into pledging allegiance to the Queen? The Janet family are Counts, just like us. Even their feat of killing two Marquises must be credited to their powerful backers.

"What? You want my Milan family to beco the Queen’s lackeys?" Jean, upon hearing this, ignored his father’s warning and angrily cursed, "There are three Counts from ancient lines here, all dedicated to overthrowing the Duke’s rule! You’re a re human, not to ntion the Queen is just Count Janet’s daughter! Why, and what qualifications does she have to lead us?"

Having said this, he felt a secret joy. I perford quite well in front of so many nobles, didn’t I?

The other nobles also fell silent, so clearly unhappy. The Janet family defeated the Marquises only because they were backed by that powerful force. Anyone could have done the sa with such support! Why should we pledge allegiance to them? As subjects also oppressed by the Duke, wouldn’t an alliance be better for all of us? Banding together for self-preservation is the best choice in the current situation. If we join the Queen, who would take over our wealth, armies, and fiefs?

"Denis," seeing the atmosphere cool, Count Magister squinted and whispered, "don’t speak. Let’s just wait."

Denis nodded, still gripping her sword—a habit she had developed over the past dozen days or so.

"Well said." Chu Yi nodded, casting Jean a look of approval that left the latter puzzled. What does this foolish human an?

"The Queen also hopes for strong allies..." Chu Yi said in a tactful tone. "Our Queen only accepts true powerhouses as allies; no trash will be accepted."

"Oh, in human terms, ’trash’ ans non-recyclable waste." Saying this, he looked at Jean as if looking at a piece of garbage.

These words caused the assembled nobles to glare angrily. He was comparing them to trash, unworthy of even sitting with this Countess! Was the Janet family truly insulting the nobility this way?

"This guy..." Denis frowned, the hilt of her sword sliding out half an inch and reflecting a cold glint, but Count Magister stopped her.

"This boy is interesting," Count Magister said, remaining calm and smiling. "He seems to be the adopted son of the Janet family."

"It’s him?" Denis was taken aback. In her mory, the vague image of a boy with clear, bright eyes, whom she had t several tis, flashed. Over a decade later, the boy had grown into a mysterious and powerful Beast Tar.

"Why are you looking at !" Jean, pinned by Chu Yi’s gaze, finally understood and fud, "Are you calling trash?"

"Sigh, don’t misunderstand. I’m not targeting just you," Chu Yi said, his expression deceptively refined as he swept his gaze over the displeased nobles. He added, almost apologetically, "What I ant was... everyone present here is trash."

This provocative scene instantly incited public outrage.

"Human, the Blood Race world is not a place for your provocations! Let teach the master behind you a lesson!" A tall, hot-tempered Blood Race mber revealed his true form, his bat-like wings flaring as he rushed forward like a scarlet shadow.

Another group of Blood Race mbers joined the action, intending to teach this human lad a lesson.

However, Chu Yi stood as if rooted to the spot, seemingly frightened.

The seemingly harmless little fox on his shoulder suddenly raised its six small, fluffy tails. Sparks rose from its fur, followed by an invigorating dragon roar. A ball of Crown Fla enveloped Chu Yi’s figure and then exploded like a bomb!

A Crown Fla Pillar shot up, connecting heaven and earth. Gales howled, transforming the sky into a mass of fire clouds from which a shower of searing flas rained down.

King’s Domain, activate!

The next mont, the Blood Race mbers who had stepped forward to test him were instantly t by six wild dragons that tore through the sky. In a flash, the dragons plowed these nobles into the ground, gouging out intersecting, fiery trenches.

"Honestly, why couldn’t you all just listen to properly?" Chu Yi strolled leisurely, walking up to a tall and sturdy Blood Race mber and posing as if to throw a punch.

The Blood Race mber, bound by a Crown Fla Tail, was anxious yet held a sliver of confidence. This puny human thinks he can punch ?

Chu Yi threw a straight punch.

The punch, amplified by power fed back from his Deceit Beast, transford into a devastatingly forceful blow. It tore through the void and slamd into the boasting Blood Race mber.

BOOM—

The Blood Race mber exploded, tearing open a scarlet curtain in the air and erupting into a thick blood mist. This mist was then swept away by a subsequent gust of wind that ford a White Dragon, which scattered his remains as a bloody drizzle, decimated organs flying chaotically.

Not just knocked flying, but blown apart!

"What?" Even the Count of Milan was aghast. This young man not only had a contract with a powerful Pet Beast, but his own physique was also terrifyingly formidable.

PFFT! Jean’s pupils shrank. The next mont, a piece of a flying internal organ slamd into his mouth, knocking him from his horse and leaving him a wretched, splattered ss.

"His physique is quite different from that of a Beast Tar." Denis raised a slightly tattered parasol to shield herself from the blood raining down. Beneath her feathered helm, her delicate face was etched with astonishnt.

What on earth happened to Chu Yi? How could his strength have improved so monstrously? Were all Beast Taming geniuses this terrifyingly powerful? Could it be... that, as Chu Yi had said, they, these nobles, were indeed trash?

"Good." Count Magister’s eyes lit up, growing more certain that Chu Yi was the bridge for communication between the Janet family and those human forces.

A human adopted by a Blood Race Count, who then beca a genius Beast Tar... This definitely indicates a special status. In that case... then we shall pledge allegiance to the Queen.
