Chapter 41: Your Girlfriend?
“Stop your nonsense and quickly take a look.” Li Jingran’s attitude was a little impatient.
Song Qingchen rolled his eyes at him and then resud his good working attitude. He asked, “Miss, where are you feeling uncomfortable? Give your symptoms so that I can diagnose you.”

Xu Wanwan bit the corner of her lips and looked troubled.

Song Qingchen saw that she had not spoken for a while and that she was covering her stomach with her hands. He instantly guessed, “Are you on your period?”
Xu Wanwan suddenly looked up and stared at the man in front of her with a look of disbelief.

Song Qingchen chuckled when he saw her reaction. “This is a normal physiological phenonon. There’s nothing to be embarrassed about.”
“I’ll give you so dicine to promote blood circulation and remove blood stasis. You’ll get better after drinking it. Keep yourself warm and avoid cold drinks, got it?”
Xu Wanwan lowered her head and humd.
“Here, this is the dicine.” Song Qingchen took out two boxes and handed them to Li Jingran. Seeing his serious face, he teased, “Look at what’s wrong with you as a boyfriend. You can’t even rember your girlfriend’s period.”
Li Jingran took the pills in one go, the expression on his face looking extrely displeased. “You can leave now.”

Li Jingran couldn’t be bothered with him. He opened the dicine box and popped out a few small pills. He looked at Xu Wanwan. “Open your mouth.”

The pill was so bitter that it caused her to swallow the wrong way. Xu Wanwan imdiately grabbed the cup in her hand and gulped down several mouthfuls of water.
She drank so quickly that she choked until she coughed, and tears uncontrollably flowed out.
“Why are you so careless?” Li Jingran frowned slightly and scolded her. His mouth was blaming, but his hand was honest as he patted the girl’s back. His gaze was inexplicably gentle. “Feeling better?”
Xu Wanwan raised her hand to wipe the corner of her lips and nodded at the man.
Song Qingchen had no intention of packing his things. He couldn’t even look directly at Li Jingran now.

Song Qingchen could not hold it in anymore. He covered his mouth and chuckled. He gave Xu Wanwan a thumbs up. “I’m impressed! You did sothing that had never even crossed my mind. You actually managed to move Li Jingran, this big rock.”
Xu Wanwan looked at him at a loss and did not know what to say.
Li Jingran stood in front of Xu Wanwan, looked at Song Qingchen, and said in a rude manner, “The paynt has been transferred to your card. If you don’t leave now, I’ll call soone.”
“It’s been so many years. When will you change your temper?” Song Qingchen complained as he walked out. “You have a girlfriend now, but you’re still like this.”
Li Jingran couldn’t be bothered with him. He picked up his coat on the back of the chair and looked down at Xu Wanwan. “Can you still walk?”
A big question marked popped in Xu Wanwan’s heart.
She was just on her period. Her legs were not broken.
“Yes, I can.” Xu Wanwan supported herself on the sofa to get up to avoid embarrassnt. “Then I won’t disturb you while you’re working.”
She was about to leave when her wrist was grabbed by the man. “Go ho and rest.”
“Huh?”
“It’s ti to go ho.”
Xu Wanwan thought she was so confused that she couldn’t even tell the ti, but the clock on the wall indicated that it was three o’clock in the afternoon.
There was still a long ti before work ended…
Li Jingran didn’t let go of her hand. With one hand, he put his coat over her shoulder and said in a deep voice, “Let’s go. The driver is waiting outside.”
Xu Wanwan subconsciously struggled, but she was too weak that Li Jingran tightened his grip on her wrist.

Not long after, there was a knock on the door.
She held the book and went to open the door. When she saw the servant at the door holding a bowl, she smiled. “Miss Xu, Director Li asked to prepare red date and ginger tea for you. Drink it while it’s hot.”
Xu Wanwan’s forehead twitched. She took the bowl of hot ginger tea and said, “Thank you, Mama Wang.”
“No need to thank. Don’t ntion it.” Mama Wang was particularly enthusiastic. She asked a few more questions. “Miss Xu, is your stomach hurting from that? I have a prescription here. If you need it, just let know.”
“Well, I’ve already taken a dicine. I’m not feeling unwell.”
