Chapter 85: Seven-Foot Breasts
"Got it, I'll go." Kouya agreed, his tone calm but faintly warm.
After ending the call, Kouya checked the ti and saw that it was just past eight in the morning. Sunlight poured into the room through the curtains, glinting off the screen of his phone. It was still early, and since Kobayashi’s new place was now even closer to where he lived, there was no reason to rush. He stretched lazily, enjoying the quiet morning.
He was about to play so gas when his phone rang again. The ringtone cut through the silence.
Looking down, he saw that it was the miko lady calling.
"Kou-kun, there’s a mission tonight. Want to co along?" ca her gentle, soothing voice, carrying a trace of elegance that instantly brought back the faint scent of incense and old wood from the shrine.
Kouya thought for a mont, tapping his finger against his thigh, then shook his head. "I’ve got plans tonight, so I’ll pass."
If it were any other day, he might have gone, but he had just promised Kobayashi that he’d join her for dinner tonight. It wouldn’t be right to break his word—not to her.
"Oh… alright then." The miko’s voice carried a soft sigh, tinged with disappointnt. After a pause, she added, "Kou-kun, if you’re free tomorrow, co by for a al. Hinata really misses you. She’s been talking about you nonstop."
"Yeah." Kouya smiled faintly. "We’ll see tomorrow. If I’m free, I’ll co."
After hanging up, he lay back on the bed for a few monts, staring at the ceiling. He could almost hear the rustling trees near the shrine in his mind. Then, deciding not to think too much, he grabbed his console and started a ga to pass the ti.
…
By around five in the evening, Kouya had showered, changed, and was ready to head out. The sky was tinted gold by the setting sun as he walked toward Kobayashi’s new apartnt, a light breeze carrying the faint scent of cooking from nearby hos.
After about ten minutes, he arrived at the building, carrying a small bag of fruit and snacks he’d bought at the corner shop. He went up to the top floor and pressed the doorbell.
Monts later, the door clicked open.
"Good evening, kouya-Sama!" The dragon maid Tohru stood there, tail flicking with excitent, a bright smile lighting up her face.
"Evening, Tohru," Kouya greeted politely.
"Is that you, Kouya? Co in, co in!" Kobayashi’s voice called from inside the apartnt.
Kouya stepped in, glancing around curiously. The new place was much larger than her previous apartnt—a typical two-bedroom setup, cozy but well-kept. The floor glead, the furniture was neatly arranged, and cute stickers decorated the walls, giving the space a warm, hoy feel.
"Nice, huh, kouya-Sama?" Tohru bead proudly, hands on her hips, her tail wagging like an overexcited puppy.
Not bad indeed—if only she didn’t wag her tail every ti she bragged!
"Kouya, this is my friend, Takiya-kun," Kobayashi said, gesturing toward a man seated nearby. "He’s helped out a lot at work."
The man looked about the sa age as Kobayashi—tidy hair, glasses, and an air of calm intelligence.
"You must be Kouya. Good evening," Takiya greeted with a friendly smile.
"Good evening."
Takiya smirked mischievously. "No wonder you can date four girls at once—you really are a handso guy."
"…"
Kouya froze instantly.
Don’t talk nonsense, damn it! What do you an dating four girls at once? I was just gathering intel!
Beside him, Kobayashi quickly looked away, pretending to focus on the TV like nothing had happened.
Then, a small tug pulled at his sleeve.
Kouya turned and saw the little blue-eyed dragon standing behind him, gently pulling on his shirt, her big eyes locked on the bag of snacks in his hand.
"I want to eat," Kanna said quietly, her small face serious.
The mont those words left her lips, Kouya’s mind flashed back to that day at the amusent park—the endless eating, the horrifying sight of a bottomless appetite in action.
From noon to dusk, the little dragon’s mouth hadn’t stopped moving once!
Ice cream, candy, chips, fried food—she wanted to taste everything in sight!
She’d even swallowed a butterfly whole under a tree, and when Vigne wasn’t looking, she’d eaten all her cat food!
You’re a real glutton, no doubt about it.
He sighed and handed her the snacks. Just as he sat down to take a sip of water, the doorbell rang again.
"It’s my friend!" Tohru shouted, dropping the ladle and dashing toward the door.
"Hm?" Kouya frowned slightly. A heavy, oppressive aura pressed in from outside, and he instinctively turned to look. "Tohru’s friend? Don’t tell …"
With a click, the door opened—and there stood a towering figure, a black dragon of curses, eyes narrowed and cold.
The air froze.
Kobayashi and Takiya turned to stone where they stood.
"Clack!"
Tohru slamd the door shut again, stuck out her tongue, and said playfully, "Please wait a mont!"
She cracked the door open just a little and whispered, "Mr. Fafnir, please transform into the form I showed you!"
"Hmph. What a troubleso world," a deep growl rumbled from beyond the door.
Monts later, a tall man dressed in a sharp butler outfit stepped inside, his eyes cold and his expression lifeless. "This world is such a bother. It should just be destroyed."
Kobayashi flinched and hurried to bow, handing over a business card. "Nice to et you!"
Hey, what’s with that formal greeting! He’s not a client!
He’s Tohru’s friend, not a demon lord!
Kobayashi composed herself quickly, pulled Tohru aside, and whispered, "Tohru, your friend seems to really hate humans…"
"Yes, Mr. Fafnir doesn’t like humans very much," Tohru admitted softly, pressing a finger to her lips. "He’s an ancient dragon who used to guard a mountain of treasures. But humans kept sneaking into his cave to steal from him while he slept. Eventually, they took everything, and he was mocked for it for centuries. So now he’s… kind of bitter."
Kouya looked away, unbothered.
After eting Tohru and Kanna, another dragon didn’t even register as strange anymore.
Then, the doorbell rang again.
"Another friend!" Tohru said cheerfully, raising her hand as she sprinted to open the door.
A woman with long, flowing blonde hair entered, wearing a hat, a short vest, and tight hot pants that showed off her curves.
"Another dragon, huh…"
Kouya’s gaze slid over casually—and froze.
Wait, what the hell…
Those things were massive!
Dragon girls were naturally well-endowed, but this was absurd! Huge beyond reason!
Was this what they ant by true seven-foot breasts?!
You could only compare them to waterlons—or maybe boulders!
"Nice to et you, just call Lucoa," the woman said with a sunny smile, waving slightly.
"H-heh… co in," Kobayashi managed to say, her laugh awkward and dry as her eyes involuntarily dropped to Lucoa’s chest—an impossible sight she could only look up to with envy and despair.
After the initial shock, Kobayashi forced herself to stay composed and chatted politely with Lucoa. Compared to the cursed dragon, this one seed far more approachable… if only her chest didn’t break the laws of physics.
On the couch, Takiya had already pulled out a ga controller and was deeply focused on a match.
Kouya, bored, scrolled through his phone while Kanna quietly munched on her snacks beside him. Fafnir sat perfectly still, his gaze fixed on the television as if analyzing human behavior.
"Kouya, want to play a round? This is a collector’s edition," Takiya said with a grin.
"Nah, not my thing," Kouya shook his head.
"Not your thing? At your age, I was obsessed with gas!" Takiya exclaid, laughing. Then his expression softened as nostalgia filled his eyes. "I used to play Monster Hunter all the ti, until one day a friend introduced to a ga called ‘Oto Mountain.’ That was the day I stepped into a whole new world…"
"Oto Mountain?" Kouya echoed curiously.
"Exactly! My first true awakening!" Takiya’s tone grew passionate, eyes gleaming as if he were a priest preaching the gospel of otakuhood.
Before he could continue his sermon, Tohru suddenly gasped. "Oh no! We’re out of seasoning!"
"Can’t you skip it this once?" Kobayashi asked.
"Of course not! Without seasoning, the dish won’t be perfect!" Tohru declared, puffing up her chest. "This is my pride as head chef—I refuse to compromise!"
Where did that pride even co from?!
The mont you wagged your tail at the door with that dog plushie, your pride was gone!
"B-but the food’s already in the pot—I can’t leave it unattended…" Tohru fretted.
"I’ll go," Kouya said, rising from his seat.
That Takiya guy’s eyes were starting to look unnerving anyway—it was a good excuse to step outside.
"Thank you, kouya-Sama!" Tohru said gratefully.
Kouya nodded, opened the door, and stepped out. Just as he did, he felt a small tug at his sleeve.
Turning back, he saw the little blue-eyed dragon looking up at him again, her expression calm but her eyes bright with determination.
"I’m coming too," Kanna said firmly.
