At this mont, in the vast emptiness, a few faint ripples of will began to spread.

It was not a verbal exchange, but a more mysterious thod that instantly transcended the boundless distance of the outer domain.

Even light would take billions of years to traverse such a distance, yet it was crossed in an instant.

Their wills perated the infinite expanse of the outer domain, encompassing trillions of stars, and spanning galaxies that would take eons for lesser beings to cross.

The so-called limits of speed imposed by the Heavenly Dao seed to pose no obstacle to them.

Then, these wills converged.

Ripples spread out, creating an 'exchange.'

"Sothing has happened in the Baiyue region," one will expressed.

There was no sound, no energy fluctuation, not even a gravitational wave. Without equivalent power, such an exchange would be imperceptible.

"I've heard about it. Chenji Golden Elixir thod was taken by a young man. Tsk, tsk, tsk, he's really fast. Luofu is still asleep, and we haven't even had a chance to act, yet he managed to get the Chenji Golden Elixir thod first. This kid should go to Paranirmita-vaśavartin instead of Wushen Mountain," another will teased lightly.

Paranirmita-vaśavartin, also known as the Desire Realm, is the domain of the Desire Realm's Māra, where all the Māras gather. It is their ho and the root of their power.

"Indeed, he has a bit of the Desire Realm's flair, manipulating hearts. However, the Desire Realm itself is ascetic; those Māras never fall into desire. Our young man, on the other hand, has entangled himself in it. In the Desire Realm, that would be a capital offense," a third will said casually, a hint of amusent in his tone.

"No matter. Young people can't always suppress their desires. The key is how to handle the situation in Tang. Is the original plan abandoned?" the first will brought the conversation back to the main topic.

At this mont, a fourth will interjected, "Wait, what plan? There was a plan? I didn't know about it. What have you been up to behind my back?"

"Such a major matter, of course, there was a plan. Didn't you attend the last eting? If you keep slacking off, next ti you'll be assigned to guard the Gui Xu. If you like to slack off, you can do it there for a hundred million years without anyone bothering you," the third will scolded with a laugh.

At this point, the first will said calmly, "Since you don't know, I'll explain again, but rember not to spread it."

"In the original plan, we were definitely going to obtain the Chenji Golden Elixir thod. After all, the Sun and Moon True Lead Cauldron involves the Yin and Yang of the world, and this matter is closely tied to the Heavenly Dao's operation, so it cannot be taken lightly."

"However, we are not like the barbarian bandits of the Demon Clan. We cannot simply seize their cultivation thods, as that would be a loss of face. So, we planned to take our ti."

"Therefore, the Shaman God originally planned, within this millennium, to let Luofu recuperate slowly. She would reside within the mountain, and two blessed caverns would be allocated for her and her followers to cultivate in peace. At the sa ti, they could gather the remnants of Luofu Mountain to see if this lineage could be fully reclaid. If this were accomplished, Luofu would owe us an imnse favor. Having bestowed such a great kindness, the Shaman God expects her to reciprocate accordingly. By then, with the thods to counter the Taiyin and Taiyang fully prepared, opening the Sun and Moon True Lead Cauldron would an everything is in place. The Human Emperor would have no choice but to swallow his pride and refrain from any interference. This would count as a victory for us in this move."

"However, we didn't expect a young man to be so capable. Before we could react, he had already extracted the secret from the Moon Essence. It's also the Moon Essence's fault for being so naive. We had heard that although she was wise, her thoughts were simple, but we didn't expect her to be this simple, causing everyone to be caught off guard."

The first will seed to sigh deeply at this point.

The fourth will, hearing this, imdiately replied anxiously, "If that's the case, why are we still talking? We should head to Baiyue imdiately. We can't let them capture that young man, can we?"

The third will, however, emitted a negative aura, "It's not that simple. This matter is significant. The Baiyue region is already fraught with conflict. If we descend now, are we ready to tear off the mask?"

Tearing off the mask would an preparing for war in Baiyue.

The fourth will imdiately responded, "So what if we tear off the mask? When Luofu escaped, didn't Tang directly invade Baiyue and destroy three countries? Did they consider the mask at that ti? I say we should descend directly, prohibiting all Tang people from entering. I want to see if Tang has the ability to invade."

The second will then said, "It's not that easy. Tang is determined to obtain the Rizhuyue Zhenqian Ding and the Chenji Golden Elixir thod. They even destroyed Luofu Mountain to get them. If we descend, it could lead to a full-scale war. Are any of us prepared for that?"

The fourth will shouted, "Being overly cautious, how can we accomplish anything? If we don't act, will Tang wait? If they descend first, not only will the young man die, but the Moon Essence will also be lost. Will you only act when it's too late?"

Seeing the argunt about to escalate, the most composed first will spoke up.

He said, "We definitely can't ignore it, but how to handle it needs careful consideration. Directly descending is not an option; the Wushen are not ready for a war with the Human Emperor."

At this point, the second will, who had been silent, suddenly spoke, "Is the Human Emperor prepared for a war with the Wushen?"

"I've heard that Tang is focusing most of its efforts on the Eastern Sea. Is the Human Emperor really ready for a two-front war? The expansion of the human domain is at its peak, but fighting both the Eastern Sea and Wushen Mountain simultaneously is beyond his sanity."

"In my view, we should descend directly and show strength. This will stabilize the situation, mitigate the impact of the three destroyed countries, and demonstrate the Wushen Mountain's resolve. It will also facilitate our cooperation with the Northern Polar Demon Race."

"Agreed," soone echoed.

The fourth will, however, was anxious, "If so, should I go first?"

The first will stopped him with a gentle tone, "Don't rush. What can you do? This matter will be handled by soone else. Besides, I've heard that the young man is at a crucial mont in his Dao journey. He is about to perform a grand ritual to harmonize the heaven, earth, people, gods, and ghosts of a state. If this is successful, he will achieve the Eighth Rank, and his Dao journey will be smooth from now on. It's best not to interfere. If we disrupt his Dao journey due to our negligence, how will you feel?"

"Who will go, then?" he asked.

"Let his master handle it. It's best for him to deal with his disciple's matters," the first will decided.

"Who is his master?" the others asked almost simultaneously.

"Zhu Fengdan," the first will answered.

The mont this na was ntioned, the ripples of will spreading through the void instantly froze.

Even the most aggressive fourth will fell silent for a mont before asking, "Are you sure he hasn't arrived yet?"

The first will responded, "He's chasing after a Zhiren(The Perfect Person). No one has inford him yet, so he definitely hasn't arrived."

The gentler second will then asked, "You just said that the young boy is extraordinarily talented and at a crucial juncture in his Dao journey?"

The first will affird, "Indeed, he is an exceptionally gifted lad. At the Ninth Rank, he dared to take on the responsibility of an entire state's fate. From the records Le Ya sent , he and another youth tead up to trap and kill a Seventh Rank monk from the Buddhist sect, which led to another Fifth Rank opponent who also fell."

The second will seed to emit a sigh, "It's a pity... To be connected with Zhu Fengdan, whether it's a blessing or a curse... I hope he doesn't beco another Zhu Fengdan."

The first will addressed the others, "Since we've decided to send Zhu Fengdan, let's disperse. Everyone must remain vigilant. This is a critical ti when chaos may erupt across the realm. We cannot afford any mistakes. As those responsible for guarding, during our tenure, we must handle our duties carefully to avoid any loopholes."

At this point, the second will said, "I'm sowhat uneasy. Let go with Zhu Fengdan. It won't cause too much trouble and can help mitigate his temperant, preventing conflicts from escalating."

The first will did not object but rely said, "Rember, don't ss things up. If your disciple fails in his grand ritual and his Dao path is severed, it's only your disciple. Don't drag others into it. No one should be treated as soone else; everyone is their own person."

The second will simply replied, "I understand."

With that, the void returned to calmness, and all ripples of will withdrew, leaving no trace.

anwhile, the heavens across the realm suddenly experienced indescribable intense fluctuations.

It was like a balloon hitting the ground, causing severe deformations, leading to slight disturbances in the celestial phenona. The starry sky observed from various locations underwent subtle changes.

At that very mont, such changes appeared simultaneously in two places: the southwest and central regions.

Boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom.

Six consecutive sounds, six occurrences in total.

Two in the southwest, four in the central region.

Then, at the border between Baiyue and Tang, two gusts of wind collided abruptly.

With a bang, there were no grand waves of sound, but everything around them paused.

It was as if soone had pressed the pause button here.

Leaves suspended mid-air, swirling vortexes halted by a mysterious force, locking down the space within hundreds of miles, turning it into a still image where all external interference was blocked.

Six figures appeared simultaneously here.

In this frozen world, only they remained dynamic.

From the Wushen Mountain territory, Li Qi's master, Zhu Gongzi, and another elderly man with a gentle deanor, soft features, and a well-grood beard stood.

"Why are you here? Weren't you supposed to co alone?" Zhu Fengdan frowned, glancing at the elder with unfriendly and even disdainful tones.

Unlike his playful behavior in front of Li Qi, Zhu Fengdan now appeared cold and violent.

Before the elder could respond, one of the four people opposite spoke up.

"Zhu Fengdan, Yun Fang, only two Great Wu... ah, we're being underestimated."

Yun Fang and Zhu Fengdan faced twice their number of enemies at the sa rank.

Among them are three Perfected Ones of the Humanism and one Earth Immortal of the Daoism.

The Way of Humanity: a third-rank Perfected One.

Only those who reach the ultimate state of humanity can truly be called "human among humans," and a "human among humans" is what we refer to as the Perfected One. Why is this so?

It is because they can observe the hearts of all with a single heart, perceive the bodies of all with a single body, comprehend all things with a single object, and understand all ages with a single lifeti. Furthermore, they are said to be able to replace the will of Heaven with their heart, speak for Heaven with their mouth, perform the works of Heaven with their hands, and embody the affairs of Heaven with their body.

The Perfected One is the ultimate human, the "human among humans."

With one heart, they observe all hearts; with one body, they perceive all bodies; with one object, they comprehend all things; with one lifeti, they understand all ages.

With their heart, they stand in for the will of Heaven; with their mouth, they speak the words of Heaven; with their hands, they perform the deeds of Heaven; with their body, they enact the affairs of Heaven.

Only in this way can one be called a Perfected One.

They encompass Heaven and Earth, move freely within the workings of creation, traverse past and present, comprehend the timings of Heaven above, fully grasp the nature of things in the middle, and exhaustively understand the principles of Earth below.

Thus, their divine powers are vast and profound.

Tang dispatched four such individuals at once.

This shows how seriously Tang takes this matter.

Fortunately, the two Great Wu here aren't pushovers either.

Although Zhu Fengdan is known as an eccentric, the Wushen have never shown him any less favor. He is most famous for his exceptional combat talent, far surpassing normal Wu practitioners, making him incompatible with other Great Wu.

Wu practitioners themselves aren't adept at direct confrontations. Most consider physical engagent undignified.

Most prefer working behind the scenes, smiling to the face.

But Zhu Fengdan is entirely different.

He didn't even respond to the Zhiren's words.

Instead, he raised his hand directly.

Raising his hand, he suddenly clenched it into a fist!

With this action—

The sky collapsed.

The three Zhiren and one Earth Immortal felt as if they were carrying Mount Tai. The eternal flow of heavenly principles around them crumbled, pressing down on their shoulders, forcing them to stop montarily, their statures shrinking slightly.

The Earth Immortal snorted coldly, stepping forward and stomping on the ground.

Suddenly, rosy clouds arose across the four regions, golden light dazzled the eyes, and vibrant colors captivated the senses.

Amid the colorful clouds, a majestic and imposing city rose up, standing about a thousand zhang high. Its towers propped up the canopy of the sky, transforming into pillars that held up the heavens.

The city opened eight gates—Open, Rest, Life, Injury, Block, Scene, Alarm, and Death—where celestial and terrestrial phenona intertwined, the heavenly stems and earthly branches mingled, yin and yang separated, all intricately complex. Like countless sluice gates, they dispersed the overwhelming pressure capable of crushing countless worlds, dissipating it into nothingness.

The three Zhiren did not intervene.

This level of confrontation didn't count as fighting; it was rely a sign of hostility.

However, it also indicated that Wushen Mountain didn't wish to engage in battle.

If so, there's no need for a fight.

After all, what the Grand Secretary wants isn't a battle but to prevent Wushen Mountain from obtaining the Chenji Golden Elixir thod.
