The most threatening aspect for them was the several powerful fields equipped on the Eliminators and Harvesters.
Such as the slow field.
The binding field.
The interference field.
Extre cold and scorching heat and other specific fields could pose a fatal threat to advanced wizards between Rank 4 and below Rank 7.
Moreover, these contraptions could even be immune to ntal, soul or curse attacks. With these fields combined with heavy firepower, upon their initial arrival in this world, several great wizards of Rank 7 were caught off guard by the multiple fields, which led to their surrounding and death.
It was a chanical civilization, but not purely chanical. This Fortification of Rectitude did not operate on the sa physical rules as the technologies of the Main World. Even if he, with great divine power, forcibly changed the rules of the world, it would only have a limited impact, unlike the technologies of the Main World which would be rendered completely obsolete in a Different Domain.
To counter this chanical civilization, one could only crush it with absolute strength head-on.
The Yudiwen World did not have this strength before, but now that Lin Xiao had arrived, it did.
Without any need for a plan, he waited for so ti, until he had fully adapted to the rules of this world and could exert all his own strength unimpeded, then took heavy footsteps toward the north.
At this ti, after observing and assessing him multiple tis, the Fortification of Rectitude had already withdrawn all the chanical legions. There were a total of two Harvester war bodies and fifteen Eliminator war bodies, along with countless other combat chanical bodies.
Though there were only two Harvesters, equivalent to Rank 8, the chanical fortresses themselves possessed armor and firepower far stronger than an average Harvester war body, akin to an enhanced version of a Harvester coupled with copious artillery fire. Their defensive capabilities and combat abilities were incredibly strong.
The massive Golden Titan True Body stepped across a great river, leaving an imnse footprint on the flat riverbank. Before it could stabilize its footing, a blinding white light flashed in the depths of the barren wasteland, which was only a grey fog in ordinary people’s vision; a dazzling beam of light with a diater over three ters, like a laser, instantly struck the chest of the Golden Titan.
Accompanied by an ear-deafening roar, a blinding light burst at the chest of the massive Golden Giant God, shattering into a ring of twisted light that shot out to a thousand kiloters away.
The Golden Titan staggered, and Lin Xiao looked down at his chest, his eyes slightly grave.
The power of this strike had reached the full might of an early Rank 8, whose aftershocks could shake space, the equivalent of Shadow Wind’s final self-destructive power being focused in one beam, which could pose a great threat to strong beings at the initial and middle stages of Rank 8.
And this was just the first attack. The Harvester’s main gun could fire continuously as long as there was sufficient energy. He was just about to lift his foot when the second ultra-long-range main gun attack had already hit his chest.
Being such a large target, the attack couldn’t possibly miss; he could only withstand it with sheer toughness.
Luckily, he could still bear it. Although the power made him very uncomfortable—each strike felt like a punch to an ordinary person—grit your teeth, and you could endure it, but it would definitely be painful. The punch’s force could also cause certain impact damage to his muscles and internal organs. If this kind of barrage continued unabated, it’s not ruled out he could be battered to death.
But the premise was that it could continue bombarding without end, and that he also didn’t dodge and let it hit him without resistance.
Clearly, this was impossible. After enduring the bombardnt four or five tis with toughness, Lin Xiao began to display his talents and the laws he had mastered.
With a single thought, the Power of Ti enveloped his entire body, seen from afar as if a shallow, transparent current circled him. Terrible attacks that could pierce through the World Crystal Wall struck the Titan true form, standing tall at eight or nine thousand kiloters, yet they vanished quietly as if a clay ox entering the sea.
Seconds later, behind him, the void continuously exploded into huge cavities, and the terrifying beam energies finally burst forth at this ti and place.
The Titan Deity took large strides forward, with huge pockets of exploded space continuously forming behind him, stretching toward the northern part of the continent.
"Detection of attacks not hitting the target, recalibration of target position in progress!"
"Detection of attacks not hitting the target, recalibration of target position in progress!"
"Detection of attacks not hitting the......."
"Warning, over five missed attacks, now re-scanning to establish target database!"
"Database established, recalibrating the target, Harvester Destruction Beam charging...."
"Charging complete, request to fire!"
"Fire request approved, three seconds countdown begins....."
"Three...."
"Two...."
"One.... Fire!"
After a ceasefire of ten seconds, the second round of attacks hit the still-advancing Golden Titan Giant God precisely, but the result was the sa as before. Even though they had hit the target, the attacks only exploded a few seconds later behind it.
The spacious command center core of the Fortification of Rectitude housed a trapezoidal crystal device at its very heart, with red void beams connecting the crystal to various devices around the command center. A cold chanical voice continuously sounded:
"Undetected target confird, warning, target undetected over five tis. Initiating a re-scan to establish a database for the target."
"Given that the target has been unsuccessfully re-identified five tis, backup battle plans are now activating, starting data reconstruction for the entire battlefield."
"Data rebuilding in progress....."
"Battlefield data has been uploaded, activating the virtual battlefield, deploying data-locating drones."
Countless drone bodies, small like birds, flew out from the Fortification of Rectitude, dispersing in all directions.
The imnse Golden Titan Giant God had now entered the northern part of the continent; its height of eight or nine thousand ters allowed it to see the distant Fortification of Rectitude, and the nurous combat machinery stationed around the fortification. What attracted its attention most was the pair of several hundred ters high Harvesters and more than twenty Eliminators, each over a hundred ters tall, standing before the fortification.
"Data-locating drones have been deployed to the battlefield, currently collecting and positioning data!"
"Data collection complete, rebuilding battlefield database."
"Database established, recalibrating target, Harvester Destruction Beams ready to charge."
"Charging complete, requesting to fire!"
"Fire request approved, starting a three-second countdown..."
Just like the last ti, five rounds of Destruction Beams failed to hit the target consecutively, forcing the central battle system to change the battle plan once again.
To tell the truth, it was fortunate that the system operated like a computer; if humans were in command, they’d likely be swearing up a storm by now.
Next, the Fortification of Rectitude tried different battle tactics to aim at him, including refracting the Destruction Beams to attack from behind and scattering multiple beams to cover the area around him. Although each attack successfully hit its mark, none inflicted the slightest damage on him. This baffled the Fortification of Rectitude and left the observing wizards of the Resistance Force in total confusion; no one understood what was happening.
So speculated it was the Shadow Rule at play, others guessed it was refraction, and those with wild imaginations thought it might be an application of the Space Law. Yet, no one guessed the true reason.
It wasn’t that their imaginations were lacking; it was simply that Lin Xiao’s move had never been seen before.
Although it was just a simple utilization of the Ti Law for him, to the Indigenous Sorcerers who had never seen the Ti Law in action, it was beyond their wildest thoughts.
In simplicity, Lin Xiao rely covered himself with the Power of Ti. Any attack that passed through the protective flow of ti around him encountered what could be seen as a temporal fault due to the different flow rates of ti inside and outside the protective layer, so the Destruction Beams, after crossing the temporal fault, belonged to a different ti fra and were no longer in the sa tiline as Lin Xiao.
It was akin to using a sword of a past dynasty to execute an official of the current dynasty; when the Destruction Beams crossed the temporal fault, they entered a different ti fra from Lin Xiao’s, so how could they touch him?
Even if the naked eye or other observation thods seed to show the Destruction Beams hitting him, in reality, they were striking an area minutes or even longer in the future; by then, Lin Xiao was no longer there, making it impossible to strike him.
This demonstrated the incredible power of the Ti Law, and this was just a rudintary use of it. The Ti Law was supre, and with mastery of even just half of it, Lin Xiao could be invincible under the progenitors.
So super-strong forces with Super Divine Power might not be able to defeat him, but neither could they do anything to him, inherently placing him in an invincible position.
With mastery of the supre Ti Law, other laws were arguably dispensable.
In fact, if Lin Xiao were not concerned about the certainty of acquiring all aspects of the Ti Law, he would have long since discarded the other laws to specialize solely in the Ti Law.
Using the ti fault, Lin Xiao moved with heavy steps toward the Fortification of Rectitude, twenty kiloters ahead. Two Harvesters and fifteen Eliminators activated and, taking flight, pounced toward him.
Expressionless, Lin Xiao lifted his arm and made a grasping motion forward, and a fearso gravitational force, spanning over twenty kiloters, suddenly materialized in the path of the charging Harvesters. A point of blackness appeared in the center, the gravitational pull surged instantaneously, and a torrential flow of energy from the surrounding void was drawn in, causing ground debris to fly upward. The formation of the advancing Eliminators and Harvesters twisted wildly, as they emitted different colored force fields to anchor themselves in mid-air.
Within the vast command center of the Fortification of Rectitude, red lights flashed intensely as alarms blared incessantly:
"Alert, detection of a micro black hole, requesting deploynt of the Anti-Gravity Anchoring Field!"
"Request granted, deploying Anti-Gravity Anchoring Field!"
The next second, the aura force fields atop the Harvesters and Eliminators changed, releasing a new force field that slowly slid toward the black hole, allowing the machines to stabilize and retreat from the gravitational pull of the black hole, only halting once safely beyond the reach of its maximum attraction well. They each activated their main guns to charge, targeting the micro black hole at the center of the gravitational field.
However, as they launched their attack, Lin Xiao’s thoughts shifted, causing the black hole to vanish, leaving more than a dozen powerful energy beams to miss their mark and explode on the ground, creating giant craters hundreds of ters in diater.
Then, extending his hand forward once again, another massive gravitational field reappeared above the Fortification of Rectitude, and a micro black hole ford anew.
The formidable attraction force began to pull in the surrounding chanical Legion, causing countless chanical bodies to be lifted into the air.
