This pain was indescribable, and they knew all too well what it ant.

But no one hesitated; they all charged frenziedly toward the Thunderstorm Worms, and as the worms roared in wrath, both the Fla People and the massive bodies of the worms dissolved and shrank away.

Less than ten minutes later, after tens of thousands of Sanctuary Guards had been killed or injured, over a hundred Thunderstorm Worms vanished into nothingness amid unwilling and desperate roars.

Without the interference of the Thunderstorm Worms, the attacks of the Sanctuary Guards beca much smoother. Despite being from a chaotic alignnt, there was a sense of hierarchy in their offense that showcased the commander’s exceptional level of skill.

But there were too few Sanctuary Guards left. The less than two hundred thousand remaining guards, no matter how strong, faced an onslaught of millions of Ground Dweller Angels like a leaf in the ocean, rolling with the waves, on the brink of being overwheld at any mont.

anwhile, Lin Xiao’s Incarnation, who had been silently hovering in the Void, fixed his gaze upon the distant Incarnations of the Barbaric and Strength God Harken. The Deities’ gazes naturally elicited a reaction, and an imdiate provocative look was returned, resulting in the two Deities engaging in a distant confrontation through Divine Thoughts.

The Divine Thoughts crisscrossed through the Void, and suddenly, brilliant lightning exploded, with relentless thunder echoing nonstop.

However, it was not long before the Barbaric God was defeated and retreated. How could a Divine Thought with re dium Divine Power tangle with the most powerful one? It was an act of overestimating one’s own abilities.

Having suffered a secret loss, Harken snorted angrily, and with a wave of his hand, a mighty surge of Divine Power burst forth from the great Divine Palace behind him, forming a colossal pillar that soared into the sky. Accompanied by the resounding sound of trumpets, countless previously fallen Prayers were resurrected and surged back into the battlefield.

At this point, the Incarnation of God of War, who had been itching to join the fray, casually hung the Golden Shield of Victory behind him and grasped the Sword of War with both hands, slashing forward. In an instant, hundreds of dazzling blades of light shot forth.

Many Sanctuary Guards, already dazed from the intense battle, instinctively roared at the sight of the approaching blades, so swinging their weapons down, others stretching out their sturdy hands, wrapped in vigorous fighting energy, to grasp them.

If these were sword energies from an ordinary warrior or spells from a common mage, these powerful Sanctuary Guards might have easily fended them off, but these were attacks from the God of War, who possessed an even greater True Divine Power than Harken. How could these mortal Sanctuary Guards possibly withstand them?

In one grasp, the blazing light flashed, and their hands were severed, followed by their bodies quietly splitting in two.

In the subsequent battle, the God of Victory demonstrated imnse might, constantly swinging his sword and generating hundreds of blades of energy with each strike, throwing the nurous Sanctuary Guards into disarray. The already disadvantaged Divine Nation’s Prayers quickly fell into an even greater disadvantage.

Harken, the Barbaric and Strength God, watched from afar, filled with anger. But at that mont, Lin Xiao’s steady gaze bound him, the powerful Divine Thoughts and Divine Power forming invisible chains that made him dare not move.

This left Harken seething with anger and fear, and also sha. He recalled the last ti he felt such emotions was when, before his Divine Enthronent, he was still a mortal, and his Divine dignity caused him to feel shaful anger over his own fear, as if his honor had been greatly wounded.

Yet, despite his sha and anger, Harken dared not take the risk of personally engaging with the enemy in his Incarnate form. Holding the ho field advantage within the Divine Realm, the best strategy was to consu the enemy through the Divine Nation’s Prayers, then wait for his bound Incarnation to break free and return, and for the support of a few allied True Forms to arrive. Then he could be assured of victory and keep the Divine Realm safe.

He never considered a counter-attack. Despite the pride of a True God who had been Divine for thousands of years, Harken was well aware that he was no match for the three Incarnations with dium Divine Power from the Dark Divine System. He would be content if he could simply hold the Divine Realm.

However, the current situation did not allow him to keep waiting, for should the Incarnation take too long to return and the Divine Realm’s guards were all slain, even if the enemy was driven off, the losses would be too great and would affect his God Level.

Harken’s Central Divine Palace was surrounded by intense fluctuations of Divine Power. Through the Eye of Truth, Lin Xiao clearly saw a wave of Rules emanating from within the palace, and a thick ray of Divine Light burst forth and split into several smaller rays, each landing on one of the dozen Giant Beast statues around the palace.

As the Divine Light approached the Giant Beast statues, it was quickly absorbed by them.

This absorption brought about a cataclysmic transformation; gold light spread through the statues’ heads and rapidly extended through their entire bodies, and then the statues’ eyes, which had shown no sign of life even under the intense scrutiny of the Eye of Truth, suddenly burst open. The God Guards had been activated.

Once activated, the stone bodies of the statues swiftly turned into flesh and blood, and an imposing aura emanated from them, indicating they were sixteen fearso Giant Beasts from the Chaos Plane.

```
The so-called Chaos Plane is a vast plane where the chaotic aura of this world converges, filled with berserk energy and chaotic rules. Only extrely terrifying beings can survive there. Many True Gods like to send their incarnations to explore, seeking precious treasures and perceiving the Chaos Rules that manifest themselves. These sixteen Giant Beast God Guards, comparable to demigods, were captured by the Barbaric God from the Chaos Plane over a hundred years.
As these Giant Beast God Guards awoke, they roared towards the sky as if venting their anger. One of them even turned its wrathful roar towards the Barbaric God Harken’s Incarnation of God, while a few others pounced towards the Divine Palace, heavily striking the protective screen outside.
Seeing this, Harken grew enraged, extending his hand to point, and once more divine lights shot from inside the Divine Palace into the bodies of the Giant Beast God Guards. Those struck by the lights imdiately let out painful roars, and after struggling in anger and pain, they resignedly bowed their heads to submit to the Barbaric God.
Only after reclaiming these Giant Beast God Guards did the Barbaric God Harken breathe a sigh of relief. He pointed his right hand towards Lin Xiao’s hovering incarnation in the distance. As if finding a new outlet for their rage, the beast guards leaped hundreds of ters and pounced in that direction.
However, Lin Xiao’s eyes were fixed only on the Barbaric God Harken at the mont. He would not bother with these Giant Beast God Guards. With a thought, the Minotaur and Guardian God Jonila’s protection incarnations charged forward. The God of Wisdom and Knowledge extended his hand and pointed, causing Jonila’s protection incarnation to tremble. Instantly, it split into hundreds of identical illusions that rushed at the Giant Beast God Guards.
Initially, the Giant Beast God Guards thought these illusions were fake and charged straight at them. But upon colliding with them, they discovered that the illusions were real. Although their strength was far less than that of a real incarnation, they possessed power comparable to that of legendary warriors.
For an Incarnation of God, legendary-level strength would be enough to extinguish a swarm with a puff, but these Giant Beast God Guards were not True Gods. Although their true strength was comparable to that of demigods, they were not actual demigods, and being besieged by these legendary illusions was painful. They imdiately beca enraged and tangled into a lee with the illusions.
A leader for a leader, a king for a king, ferocious battles erupted between Lin Xiao’s subordinates and all of Harken’s subordinates. As a leader, how could Lin Xiao just sit and watch? He turned his provocative gaze towards Harken’s distant Incarnation of God, his look conveying the following ssage:
"What are you waiting for, you coward? Bring on your True Body, I’ve already seen him."
The Barbaric God Harken could naturally understand the ssage in Lin Xiao’s gaze. Any True God could comprehend all the languages and writing of the current Crystal Wall Universe, whether acoustic or luminous, as it is a passive instinct of a Deity.
Faced with such a challenge, no matter how shaless Harken was, he could not avoid this blatant provocation. However, he was surprised that his opponent had discovered his True Body hidden to the side.
That being discovered was one thing, but his True Body definitely could not take the risk. If the incarnation dies, just reform it. But the slightest injury to the True Body could be troubleso.
While True Gods have immortal life and powerful strength, their inherent undying nature is very difficult to recover from. Once the True Body is injured, in most cases, it can only slowly recover through deep slumber.
Once the True Body falls into slumber, it can no longer respond to the prayers of believers, which is a devastating blow to mortal faith.
Many True Gods, because of their injuries and subsequent slumber, see their mortal faith collapse. A True God with so savings can hold out for a while, but a New God who has just been divine is likely to fall and plumt into the Starworld if such a thing happens.
With the True Body overseeing the Divine Palace and one of the four incarnations destroyed and another tied up, Harken could only employ the remaining incarnations of barbarism and power. However, the fallen incarnation was about to reform, so Harken’s current tactics was to delay the inevitable, until the fallen incarnation could reform, and the tied-up incarnation could return. Then, with the True Body and all four Incarnations of God defending the God Nation, using Divine Nation Power, they could definitely defeat the invaders.
Inside the God Nation, the owner can fight using advantageous rules within his Divine Realm.
For example, unlimited and no-cost whole-map blinking, or quickly recovering from injuries to the incarnation, and so on.
On the other hand, enemies face severe restrictions. Not only is the blinking distance limited, but the Divine Power consud by every action is multiple tis the norm. If there’s a significant difference in ranks, the invading incarnations of deities may even find flying difficult.
With this advantage of diminishing enemies and empowering themselves, the ruler of God Nation holds an absolute advantage in battles within his God Nation.
Moreover, in the brief ti that had just passed, Harken’s True Body had analyzed the scarce actions of the invading True Gods, creating a set of targeted suppression rules to add to the current rules of God Nation. Once Harken activated them with a thought, everyone invading, from the Ground Dweller Angels to the incarnations of gods, felt a great pressure descend upon them. Their speed plumted by a whole five tiers, and the strength required for each action increased more than twice over.
This was an exaggerated level of suppression. It would be manageable for a short ti, but if the fight dragged on, the massive extra expenditure would be enough to drain all their strength and render them powerless.
Faced with this situation, Lin Xiao rapidly activated his Divinity to decipher the changed rules within the God Nation. Seeing this, Harken’s Power Incarnation quickly extended a hand and pointed, and infinite Divine Power converged above God Nation, forming a colossal transparent funnel. It condensed into a thick bolt of lightning that slamd straight towards Lin Xiao.
The Incarnations of Wisdom and Knowledge imdiately extended a hand and pointed, creating a transparent barrier above Lin Xiao’s head to deflect the bolt of Divine Power Lightning. Several subordinate deities surrounded them defensively, while others rushed towards Harken’s Power Incarnation to disrupt his actions.
