"How do you like your marshmallows?" I questioned Luna who was working on hot chocolate. According to Luna, marshmallows and hot chocolate were compulsory for a camping trip. I decided not to argue with that sentint.
"Not overly cooked, please" Luna answered with an innocent smile on her face and I simply raised my eyebrows. "By the way, the hot chocolate is almost done" Luna added, looking slightly cheerful. After that, she decided to return her attention to the pot filled with hot chocolate.
"So… what do you want for dinner, Luna?" I asked as I kept working on the marshmallows.
"I have brought so bacon and steaks along with so seasonings. Can you make sothing with that?... Oh! I have brought a few eggs too" Luna answered excitedly and gave her an unimpressed look.
"I rember soone saying that she didn't want to ruin the fun of a camping trip…" I trailed off in a dry tone and Luna gave a condescending look before a completely innocent look appeared on her face.
"I don't know what you are talking about" Luna said in an innocent tone. I simply gave her a blank look before I decided to continue working on the marshmallows. Luna was finally done with the hot chocolate, so she pulled the pot away from the fire and put a lid on top of it.
"Give the marshmallows, you can start preparing our dinner" Luna suggested and I simply shrugged and decided to follow her suggestion.
"I rummaged through her bag which was magically expanded and found the food stash. I took out a steak, a couple of eggs and the seasonings. I would have loved to have more ingredients since I wanted to cook sothing nice, but the current ingredients weren't anything bad.
The two of us kept doing our own things while making small conversations. Luna was finally done with the marshmallows, and I was also done with the seasonings. So, after skewering the steak, I put it over the fire and Luna handed a bowl filled with hot chocolate and marshmallows.
"This is nice" I said while nodding my head as I took a sip from the bowl. Luna cutely nodded her head like a woodpecker as she also agreed with my statent when she took the first sip from her own bowl.
After finishing the hot chocolate, both of us decided to lie down and watch the stars… There was a small crack on the roof and it was big enough for the two of us to stare at the sky. Both of us simply walked to cuddle and relax. Luna snuggled into my bare chest as her breasts only covered by a bikini top was pressed against my side.
"Do you know in so cultures, it is considered that after dying people turn into stars" all of a sudden Luna spoke up, surprising . I don't know where she was coming from, so I snaked my arm around her waist and pulled her closer.
"When I was small, mommy used to tell that" Luna said with a sad smile on her face. "After she died, every night I searched for the brightest star to be my mommy. I felt good as I thought that she was still watching over even though my mommy wasn't by my side" Luna kept speaking and started to caress her back in a comforting manner.
"Even though now I know the truth, I sotis look for the brightest star… and then I start talking about my life while staring towards the star" Luna said and kept staring at the brightest star visible from the crack.
"...Do you want to et her?" I questioned softly and she seed to contemplate my question but after a whole minute of silence, she shook her head in denial.
"No… I think she is happy wherever she is" Luna said with a small smile on her face. "I simply want to keep thinking as the brightest star, it makes feel happy, safe and content" Luna added with a smile as she finally looked away from the star. She looked up and started to stare into my eyes.
"...Luna, I don't know how to start, but I am going to try my best. You are one of the most amazing won I know. I am really glad that I t you and I still thank my lucky stars since now that the two of us are together. I love you, Luna Lovegood"
"Will you do the honour of marrying ?" I asked without changing our position, but I pulled out her ring from my Storage Space and held it between us. I said everything as I kept staring into Luna's eyes intently. I know that I could have done better, but it was simply a spur of the mont.
We were under the brightest star visible through the crack and Luna said that sotis, she still considered the brightest star to be her mother. She said that she felt happy, safe and content under the brightest star as she felt her mother was watching over her.
That is why I felt that I should propose to her right now, as this was the best mont…
Luna kept staring into my eyes for a few seconds without saying anything. All of a sudden, she squealed in joy like a little girl and hugged tightly.
"Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes!..." Luna kept exclaiming while hugging tightly. She raised her head and monts later, she started to giggle and raised her left hand. After that, she gave a aningful look. I grinned and placed the ring on her finger.
"This is beautiful!! Mommy, can you see my ring?" Luna exclaid and then she turned towards the brightest star and asked in an innocent tone. I smiled and kept stroking her back. I didn't want to interfere.
"Now, you should look away mommy, I am going to have my husband ravish … or you can watch if you are into that" Luna added in a similarly innocent tone and I choked after hearing her words...
