They limped out of the toilet, fortunately nobody was outside, they were all at breakfast no doubt. They didn't really want to be seen all banged up by a bunch of brats.

They walked toward the dicentre. It was a struggle climbing the flight of stairs. The dicentre was definitely positioned strangely, it was as if they wanted people to suffer more before they get cured of their injuries.

They finally reached the tallic door, they had no idea whether to knock. As they were still contemplating, the door opened all on its own. It had sensors.

It was very spacious inside. Countless chambers were in the room, each with their own monitor for the dic to check a patients vitals. One lady sat at a corner desk, working.

She had caral skin, obviously dyed green hair and it seed she even dyed her eyes, red. She had piercings in most places on her face.

She was extrely beautiful. Kiro wondered if this world was just, made up of beauties, or money made them good looking.

They greeted, she ignored them and just required their student IDs, they handed them over and paynt was processed for curing their injuries.

They were instructed to enter the two chambers on either side. With their injuries, it'd take roughly 2 minutes to completely cure them.

"Unbelievable. Classes haven't even started and there are already fights to this extre." The dic mumbled.

"Welco Student. It seems this is your first ti using the di-chamber. I'll scan your DNA first, please hold."

They both received the sa instructions, so they waited to be scanned, luckily it wasn't a painful process.

"Done. Welco Kiro Percival Waynworth. It seems you have a few broken bones. I'll fix you up montarily."

Kiro had never been to a hospital before. All hospitals required money, and that didn't grow on trees.

"All done. Be careful next ti. Your body is malnourished, please take care of it."

'Who the hell asked you?' Kiro was extrely self-conscious about his unhealthy body, as it was a reminder that, he was poor.

After two minutes passed, they got out and felt great. Their ribs were completely nded, though the black eye was no longer swollen, the black spot would vanish all on its own.

They bowed and thanked the dic profusely. She looked at them awkwardly, nobody has ever thanked her before. She wasn't expecting it either, as this was her job. She smiled wrily.

"Hiro, I'm signing up for Kickboxing. For the noncompetition sport of course."

The dic overheard this and shook her head. Wouldn't it be wiser to stay away from fighting? Now the dicentre will be sothing like a ho for them.

"I think I'll take up swimming, for noncompetition."

The dic nodded in agreent, she was eavesdropping. 'Atta boy. Swimming is better than kickboxing.'

"What about a competitive sport? Which do you think you want to join?"

"Uh, Cricket?" Hiro wasn't quite sure.

"You've read my mind!"

They looked at each other incredulously. They couldn't believe they liked the sa sport. Now their friendship looked like sothing woven from the strings of fate.

They walked out of the dicentre and were hungry, lucky for them, the ti was still 8:30am. The cafeteria opens between 6am and 9am for breakfast. Then opens at 1pm to 2pm for lunch.

They went down, Hiro didn't want to go in, so Kiro went in to buy them so cereal with milk on the go, with so nutritional chocolate bars.

Kiro imdiately noticed Isla sitting at their usual table. There weren't many people at the cafeteria, so he didn't think it'd be embarrassing to holler.

"Yo, Princess!" Kiro yelled, which caused a few to turn their heads.

She raised her head, she had an idea who it was, only one person called her by that godawful na.

She smiled awkwardly, and walked over to him. He was already buying their breakfast. He bought the cereal and chocolate bars, and decided to get a drinking yoghurt too.

"You guys made sit alon—what happened to your face?" If it were sobody else, they wouldn't have noticed, the differences were subtle, very subtle but sohow, Isla noticed.

"Huh? Oh, how can you tell? We were already cured by the dic!"

"I just can." She shrugged

"Your boyfriend called his friends and beat us up. It was amusing."

"I don't have a boyfriend," she comnted in the coldest voice, even Kiro doubted it was hers.

"Mm? I'm joking, don't be so uptight Princess. But don't worry, you should see them."

"I did, like 30 minutes ago, they were fine."

"Well obviously, it was 10 against 2."

Isla couldn't help but laugh.

'She's too beautiful.' Kiro thought.

She walked him out, she was surprised to see the dark circle under Hiro's eye. She shook her head.

"I'd say report them, but we all know how that will end up."

They both thought for a second and nodded in agreent with her. The school wouldn't do anything against soone like Isaac. They'd pretend to reprimand, they'd go as far as victim blaming.

So they just let it go, well on the surface Kiro had let it go. He still planned on beating that good for nothing into a pulp, in-ga.

They sat outside and devoured their breakfast.

"Why are you eating outside anyway?"

"Hiro can't stand the sll of at anymore. Don't ask."

Isla rolled her eyes, she was getting tired of him telling her not to ask. But she let it go anyway.

After breakfast they went to sign up for extracurricular activities. They went to the swimming club first, and Hiro signed up, then the Kickboxing club, lastly the Cricket club.

"Princess, have you signed up?" Kiro asked.

She wasn't quite used to being friends with them, so it was still very awkward walking around the academy with them.

"No, am I forced?"

"It's required."

"Ah. I don't really like sport. I guess tennis seems interesting."

So they went over to the tennis club, accompanying Isla.

There were many differences between the earth of old and the current one. One of the greatest fundantal differences between the humans now was that, as long as you take care of your body, it doesn't matter if you're a female or male in strength.

Everyone competed together in sports, for fun of course. Professional sports weren't a thing in this world. Teams often had a mix of both.
