After O07 told all his fellow colleagues about Rein and his wish, soon the eting was held in one of the secret bases of the Hidden Apricot. They were already ready to give up on this hidden base, so they did not mind holding the eting here.
The Hidden Apricot had a total of 8 leaders. So of the leaders were in plain getups without hiding anything but a few were actually trying to hide their appearance from Rein.
All of them failed in doing so as with his Eye of truth, Rein was able to see through all of them. But one of them among the leaders had a very good technique to hide his appearance. He was actually not one of the people who was trying to completely hide his appearance but was a simple looking man. But that simple appearance was actually fake.
Seeing the real face of the man, Rein imdiately understood why this man was so good in using magjc. This man turned out to be a famous researcher and student of the academy, Drew Andre who had disappeared a few years back.
It looked like he ran away from the academy to create the Hidden Apricot organisation. And the impressive items that Rein had saw was most probably created by him too.
Even after learning the true identity of this person, Rein did not revealed that to the person. Using this to blackmail him would most probably work but Rein wanted the Hidden Apricot to genuinely be his subordinates. Making them his with the help of tricks would not make them loyal to him which was sothing Rein did not want.
So instead he went with the plan he had made before. And after learning Drew's true identity, Rein was even more confident in his plans. The reason why Drew had ran away was because of a conflict with a decently powerful noble family. Drew alone was not strong enough to go against this family so he had no other way to survive but to disappear. And it looked like he did a very good job at hiding himself and his wife who was the reason of the conflict.
Rein did not beat around the bush and started to ntion the benefits these people would get by working for him. From a stable inco to support of top tier noble family and even the security for their family mbers. The more the leaders heard, the more excited they started to beca.
This was not the first ti they were getting offers to join a noble family. But before that they were only given offers with high monetary prospect. No one had tried to secure their family or had any thoughts about their well being. Rein had even given them access to healing magic treatnt which was a very big deal.
Healing magic was quite rare so regular people like them did not have access to it. If the Hidden Apricot had it, then their average death rate would go way down. This was a offer that was very tempting to everyone.
The reputation Rein and his domain had was very good. Not only that but the benefits he was giving them was just way to much. Even the most unwilling people beca convinced that this was an offer that they could not reject.
Even though almost all the leaders had agreed, their was still one person who was unwilling. It was none other than the person who was responsible for the creation of the Hidden Apricot.
In Hidden Apricot, all the leaders had similar authorities. No one was superior or inferior. But as this man was the founder, all the other leaders respected him a lot. So even though they were convinced, as long as their founder was unwilling, they were also not going to nod their head in agreent.
Rein had expected this and was ready. He imdiately told everyone his final benefit which imdiately made the founder to stand up abruptly. What Rein had offer was an opportunity to use the help of the powerful noble families to go against another noble family they had grievances with.
Even though Drew Andre had managed to save his life by running away from the academy and hiding, the noble family who was after him had given him a lot of troubles. One of his good friends who had helped him in getting away from the academy was stripped from his prestigious position of head researcher and was now living in poverty.
Not only that but his wife's family also faced extre danger and were made to run away to a distance city to avoid getting targeted by the noble family. His father in law was unable to withstand the hassle of running away as he was already ill, so he passed away. So the conflict between him and the noble family responsible was extrely harsh. So getting a chance to get back at them was sothing that he wanted very badly.
And as Rein was giving him this chance, Drew was having a hard ti rejecting it. The only reason why he still had a mind to reject it was because he still hated nobles so much.
But after so inner struggle, his hatred toward his enemy noble won against his general hatred of the nobles. So he decides to join Rein as his subordinate alongside his comrades of the Hidden Apricot.
After shaking hands with all the leaders and finalising the deal, Rein returned back to the inn happily. Now that he had a capable organisation under him, he just needed to treat them sincerely and he was sure that with enough ti they would beca loyal to him.
Now that Rein was done with all his work in this city and rtha was already feeling better, it was ti for them to finally go back to the capital. The carriage from the Leonance family had already appeared and Rein decided to board it the next day.
The outing was coming to an end for Rein, Lopas and Luna.
