Chapter 109: Final Exams?
"What if we got Yari to hide your face? You know, like how she does her own."
Lying on the floor of his dorm room, Solomon scratched underneath Bansha’s middle head as she lay contentedly on top of his chest.
"A suggestion you made three nights ago, if you rember." He sighed. "I seem to recall telling you that the materials for that particular spell are sothing even Yari could not easily get her hands on.
And besides... based on the kind of person the dean is, he will not miss the opportunity to show Zadkiel a ’rare’ specin in his possession... The last Albazian would certainly be sothing to clamor over. I should never have used my real na."
Raizel looked up from his book, turning his tal head in confusion. "I’m sorry... it almost seems like you were saying I was right."
"Those words never left my lips."
"And yet the implication was that-"
"Gods, I thought the dead would be quieter than this..."
"You were the one who decided to revive !"
"A mistake I will be careful not to repeat in the future, I assure you."
For the past couple of days, the brothers had been having the sa back-and-forth. Spitballing ideas, followed by one calling the other so version of stupid, and ending with a punch or headlock.
Solomon’s bedroom door swung open, and a beautiful, slightly groggy Jiaoying wandered out.
"Fighting already..? You young people are certainly energetic."
Solomon sat up as soon as Jiaoying erged. His eyes beca full of attraction.
Jiaoying, for all of her self-confidence and swagger, was just as easily enticed by Solomon as he was by her.
It didn’t matter that the three of them had just spent another night together. They were still feeling those sa jitters, as if it were all new.
"...Morning."
"Morning..."
Raizel thought he was going to be sick. Even without a stomach.
Jiaoying sauntered over to Solomon, barefoot and beautiful.
She leaned down and kissed him for what was only supposed to be a mont. But that mont soon turned into three, then four, then...
"By the gods, didn’t you get it all out of your systems last night?!" Raizel wished desperately that taking his helt off would actually remove his ability to see.
Embarrassed, Jiaoying pulled away from Solomon quickly and cleared her throat. "A-Ahem... And I assu Yari is..?"
"Gone by the ti I awoke." Solomon confird. "I suppose it’s not really surprising though... a dorm room isn’t really her style."
He could only surmise that the only reason she had stayed behind last night was that she had been sufficiently distracted.
With Jiaoying and Yari’s ti here slowly winding down, the three were taking their infatuation to new heights.
They were grossly affectionate, infuriatingly adorable, frighteningly possessive, and genuinely the single most insufferable throuple one could ever spend ti around.
But they had rarely been happier in their lives.
"And good morning to you, too, little lady." Jiaoying scratched behind Bansha’s ears as she smiled at her.
The cerberus seed slightly wary of her touch, though she did not object to being shown the proper respect that she was so deserving of.
"...Still not warming up to , huh? That’s okay. I won’t give up until you like
just as much as rcy does."
Bansha tilted her heads at the unfamiliar na. This made Solomon realize that the two hadn’t been properly acquainted.
"Are you awake?"
Solomon’s shadow rustled for a mont before the head of a large horse popped out of the ground.
Bansha was so frightened she almost peed.
Solomon stroked his horse’s snout appreciatively. "I’ve got soone here that I want you to get acquainted with."
Solomon held out Bansha like he was presenting a prized pumpkin.
"This is your little sister. Say hello."
"...Hel...lo. Sis...ter."
rcy responded by licking Bansha on each of her faces. Oddly enough, she didn’t fly into a murderous rage. Solomon would call that progress.
"Well, as cute as this all is..."Jiaoying stretched. "I should probably take a bath before I head back."
Solomon placed Bansha on top of rcy’s head and started to stand up.
"Uh-uh." Jiaoying placed her finger on his lips. "Alone."
Solomon smiled at her flirtatiously. "Now what fun is that?"
"It’s not about fun, it’s about getting clean without any distractions. And you, my young lover, are a very persistent one."
"You have never seed to complain about that before. In fact, as I recall you-"
"Hey, just checking, but if I wanted to exorcise myself, would that be possible, or would I have to find soone else to do it?" Raizel raised his hand from the kitchen table.
Jiaoying’s cheeks reddened further until they were nearly the sa color as her hair. "I’ll be heading in then..."
Solomon watched her predatorily as she walked away, his eyes never leaving her hips or thighs until she closed the door behind her.
As soon as she was out of the room, he shot his brother a nasty glare.
"I watched you flirt with maids, kitchen staff, random won on the streets, and other cadets for ten years without saying a word, and you can’t do the sa?"
Raizel put his book down and stared at his brother like he’d just grown two heads and shit out his nostrils.
"What the fuck are you on about..? You were never quiet! You persistently called
a slut, and a womanizer!"
"Well, yes, but I was a child then. Are you not an adult now? You should be more mature than I was."
"...I think I might actually hate you. I might smother you in your sleep tonight."
After more than ten minutes of back and forth, the door to Solomon’s room was kicked open, and not one, but three familiar faces poured inside.
"Friend Solomon!" Nila said cheerfully. "We have co to bother you since we do not have classes, and Friend Everett has finally been discharged!"
"Sorry for the intrusion..." Dakota bowed politely as she took her shoes off at the door.
"I tried to tell them this was a bad idea, boss..." Everett rubbed the back of his head.
As Nila stepped inside, she briefly made eye contact with Raizel before looking away quickly.
"G-Greetings..."
"Yeah... greetings.." Raizel lowered his head before her.
Dakota and Everett noticed the strange mood between the suit of armor and the elf, but at the mont, they didn’t care.
Their eyes were trained on the bathroom door, where they could clearly sense soone inside.
Dakota was stupefied. "Who...?"
"No way..."
Slowly, the pair turned their gaze to Solomon, and creeping smiles slowly spread across their lips.
"Well, lookie here... One of them finally wore you down, huh??" Everett made a punchable smile. "Who was it?? Is she hot??"
Dakota held up her hands and used them to make kissing gestures while giggling.
As quick as a gust of wind, Solomon stood up and began pushing the three of them back outside. "I-I’ll let you in in a minute, and for the record, this is the reason why you send notice before just showing up places!"
After slamming the door shut on them, Solomon leaned against the door and sighed.
Steam poured out of the bathroom as Jiaoying exited, her skin aglow and her hair still wet.
She looked toward Solomon and smiled. "You know, I’m realizing now why we always choose to et in Yari’s room."
"...Indeed."
Jiaoying crossed the room and kissed Solomon once again. The sweet scent of citrus wafted into his nose and piqued his appetite for more than just food.
But before he could reach the point of no return, Jiaoying pulled away with a mischievous smile.
"Have fun with your friends, Bear. I’ll see you soon."
"Tonight?"
Jiaoying went towards the window and opened it. She looked back at Solomon, and once again, he felt his heart start up.
"You know... I think you might be a bit busy. A word of advice, try not to stay up too late~."
As Jiaoying lept out of the window, Solomon thought about her parting words.
At first, he began to dismiss them as a simple warning. But then, he considered the possibility that they had a deeper aning.
And then he rembered. They were supposed to have final exams this week. But no one had told them when they would be, or what they would entail.
"...I’ll have to show her my appreciation later." Solomon muttered as he turned back to the front door.
Raizel coughed. "*Ahem* Slut."
"..."
Ignoring his brother, Solomon turned back to open his front door.
When he glimpses his friends once again, they were performing acts of an unbelievably childish nature.
Dakota was still putting her hands together, making small kissing noises, and giggling.
Nila was wrapping her arms around herself, making much more obscene kissing noises, and even moaning.
Everett was arguably the worst of all. He was grinding against the wall with enough skill to get even stone pregnant.
Solomon did the only thing that made sense to him and slamd the door in all of their faces.
