As Jace commanded, Andy and the others approached Augustus with malicious intent.
"Stop, Mr. Cross is the great benefactor of the Zander family! You're not allowed to be rude to him!"
Howard was filled with indignation and wanted to stop them, but he was pulled aside by Derrick and Joceline.
"Dad, let the young people settle their own affairs. You shouldn't blindly interfere."
"That's right. That poor man dared to make Jace kneel before it. He should be taught a lesson!"
"You…"
Howard almost fainted from anger.
He never thought that his own son, daughter-in-law, and grandson would be such scumbags!
At that mont, Andy had already walked up to Augustus and sneered.
"F*ck, looks like the lesson we gave you yesterday wasn't enough. To think you'd dare to co and cause trouble for Jace today too! In that case, don't bla us for being ruthless!"
Augustus's face was calm. "Andy, don't bla for not warning you. If you try to attack , I guarantee that I'll make you regret it!"
Andy and the others felt like they had just heard the most ridiculous joke in the world.
In university, Augustus was the target of bullies, and yesterday, they beat him until he was half-dead and even pissed all over him. Naturally, they would not care a word he said.
"Hahaha, did I hear you right? A loser like you dares to talk big in front of us? Sure, I want to see how you make regret it!"
With that, Andy swung his fist towards Augustus's face.
Andy was an expert at working out and lifting weights in the gym often. He put all his strength into his punch, obviously not intending to hold back.
However, before his fist could touch Augustus, a bam was heard as Andy's body was kicked away by Augustus.
"F*ck, how dare you fight back! Get him! Break his legs!"
A dozen people rushed at Augustus together. Jace's eyes radiated a vicious and excited look.
He could not wait to see Augustus knocked down in front of him.
However, the fiery and excitent in his eyes gradually receded and was replaced by a kind of incredulity.
That was because he watched as the dozen or so people he summoned were beaten to the ground by Augustus in just a few seconds!
"How could this be…"
Jace was in utter disbelief.
Augustus, who had been beaten to the ground like a piece of trash by them yesterday, single handedly defeated all of them today.
Was this still the Augustus he knew?
How would he know that ever since the awakening of the dragon tattoo yesterday, Augustus was no longer the sa Augustus who could be taken advantage of!
Augustus stomped on Andy's arm, breaking the bone, and walked over to Jace.
Jace was so scared that his legs went weak. He almost collapsed to the ground.
"W-What do you want?" Jace was so frightened that he could not speak well.
A chill flashed in Augustus's eyes.
From the university where he was forced to drop out from the bullying, to yesterday when he begged on his knees for his daughter, Jace had bullied him too much for too long. He also tolerated it ti and ti again.
Today, he saved Jace's life, but Jace still tried to break his legs!
If he tolerated that as well, then he would be too good to bully!
"You want to remain kneeled and never to stand up, right? I'll grant your wish!"
Then, he swept the silver needle in his hand, and Jace collapsed to his knees in front of Augustus with a thud.
"I can't move my legs! Augustus, what did you do to ?!"
Jace was terrified when he suddenly lost all sensation in his legs.
Augustus's expression was cold. "I saved you before because your grandfather has the benevolent heart of a doctor. I'm crippling you now because you returned kindness with ingratitude. This is what you deserve!"
Jace was both shocked and angry when he heard this.
"Augustus, you b*stard. I'll kill you!"
Joceline imdiately stood up and pointed at Augustus. "You son of a b*tch, hurry up and fix Jace's legs now or I'll send you to jail!"
"Send to jail?" Augustus snorted coldly and said casually, "Compared to that, you should be more concerned over whether your son can continue living or not."
Joceline followed Augustus's gaze and instantly turned pale with fright.
Only then did she notice that the final moxibustion needle had not been removed from Jace's right foot, and around that needle, the lanoma that was gone had reappeared!
"What's going on?"
Augustus's face was calm. "This last needle was the closest to the lesion. It was tainted with a lot of toxins and should've been pulled out as soon as possible along with the other needles, but because of the disruption from those people, the toxins refluxed and are flowing back into the bloodstream. The disease has already relapsed."
"What…"
Joceline felt like she was struck by lightning.. Jace was so scared that his vision went black as he fainted.
