Bree kind of wished she died because this was simply her being stupid! How can she forget such a piece of important information? Cordelia was the one who created all the nymphs who resided in the place though they look like they were spiritual forces, those nymphs were very much alive! And what was even more embarrassing, she actually ca here asking a mother to send her child to the orcs’ territory to clean up their ss! What was wrong with her mory? Why can she not rember the important things without anyone giving her a hint? Was her mory regressing?

In fact, this was sothing that Bree hasn’t been paying attention to but now that she was thinking about it... she realised she could no longer rember anything about her past life except her na, age and the way she died ..apart from these things she couldn’t rember anything, not even her own face! How can one forget how they looked?

" Your majesty?"

" Your majesty!" Cordelia’s voice snapped Bree out of her daze as she looked up at the latter. " Wha...What’s wrong?"

Cordelia eyed her curiously before she said, " I should be the one asking this your majesty, you seem to have gone pale all of a sudden are you that upset with my rejection?"

" No, it’s nothing ... I am not upset," Dying wasn’t scary but forgetting your existence was, if she had woken up in another world without any mories of her original world, Bree would have been fine but slowly forgetting that was sothing far more worse than anything else. What did this an? Was this so sort of sign that she wouldn’t be able to return ho ever again? Bree felt her heart tighten as she realised that she couldn’t rember a lot of things, like how many mbers were there in her family, and who were her friends and colleagues. What kind of life she lived from her birth till working in an office —— nothing ca into her mind, it was as if the Bree of the human world never existed.

Cordelia assessed the dragon Queen who was sitting in front of her because she was a magically modified woman, she was much more different from the other shifters. Her uniqueness allowed her to see things that others couldn’t normally see, and right now she could see that the soul of Dragon Queen though not much different from before was much more tranquil, earlier it used to be disturbed as if sothing impure has been added to its existence.

The Dragon Queen’s soul was now light blue as if it has finally gotten the peace it has been looking for, unlike the dangerous red that always flickered inside it —— Cordelia couldn’t understand what was different about the Dragon Queen but she didn’t try to pry into it either.

She was an existence that was created to stay loyal to the heir of the throne as long as the Dragon Queen was holding the court, she will have to stay by her side. Cordelia sighed before leaning back on her chair with her arms crossed, "It’s not like that I can’t agree to the request that you have put forth, I can but for that... you have to do sothing as well your majesty."

Bree raised her head putting aside the crisis that she was facing inwardly and said, " What do I need to do?"

" I have three conditions," said Cordelia without being the slightest bit upset or reserved. " First I want renovations to be done in my small and humble abode like you can add so jewels or sothing to liven up the atmosphere."

’ Small and humble?’ Where the hell was this place small and to what degree? Bree was so surprised by what Cordelia said that she forgot to think about anything else.

" Secondly, I want more n to be added to my harem," said Cordelia not even batting an eye. " I an, I have to raise the puny population of the nymphs that exists as of currently and last and finally, I would like a private tea ti with your fourth consort, your majesty."

"Cordelia, you do understand that Cian is my consort right?" asked Bree her eyes running over Cordelia’s face trying to get a hint of what exactly she was trying to do.

" I do know that your majesty, if not the fourth consort would have been the first one I would have tried to add in my harem," answered Cordelia calmly as if she just didn’t say sothing scandalous. " That’s the only reason why I asked to have a little tea ti with him and nothing more."

Bree raised a brow. " And why do you want to have a personal tea ti with my consort?"

Cordelia directed an amused look towards Bree who was sitting in front of her trying to look as unfazed as possible. " Oh nothing your majesty, just want to do a small appreciation of beauty."

" Should I call the fourth consort your majesty?" Bree returned to her palace with a heavy heart, not only because of the realisation that she has forgotten almost everything about her last life but because of the new hurdle that she needed to cross tonight. Cordelia has set her three terms on the table and while the first two were easy to fulfil the last one ant certain sacrifices on her part, sothing that she didn’t like too much.

" No," she pushed herself off the chair of her study and crossed the room before looking over her shoulder right at Dion. " I will go and see my dear consort."

Sotis, it was just about sex or need—— sotis it was just about fun and booze as Cian dolled his face up and curled his pink locks that were enchantingly as sweet looking as cotton candy. He pressed down the fear that was bubbling in his heart. It was alright, it wasn’t as if he did this every night but today his mood was pretty f*cked up after dealing with his big brother all he wanted to let loose. As his gaze settled on the empty bed a strange tightening appeared in his chest, another night of nothing but being alone.

But never mind, tonight he was going to play all he wanted, if the Queen thought that she can just throw him away and he will play nice then she was damn wrong. He was done playing good, in fact being good for a month was his limit and now he was going to be what his mother always him not to be —— a playful siren.
