88 Chapter 89 “Freeze to Death“
Back to Li Shi Ying place.
The sun is going down and the temperature around slowly dropped a few degrees.
Li Shi Ying didn’t wear a cloak on her body. She felt cold and the wind passing by her while she was carried by pink panther, only added the chill.
Li Shi Ying wound hasn’t been cleaned up and she got infection. Li Shi Ying had fainted twice while riding on the pink panther making the panther had to stop and waked Shi Ying up by licking her face.
Soooo tired....my body felt very heavy. My inner organ is burning and my hand couldn’t be moved. The pain was so great that i felt like dying.
But despite the pain, Li Shi Ying still insisted to go back as soon as possible. She withstand the cold and chilly air around her body with great difficulties.
10° celsius.
It was very cold for Li Shi Ying who was in her weakest condition till she subconsciously gnashed her teeth.
Too cold! I could freeze to death if i hadn’t hug this big panther.
Li Shi Ying could barely survive the cold as she got a little warm from pink panther body.
That night seed to be the longest night Li Shi Ying had ever felt. The way back to capital citu from deserted town wasn’t good.
The road was bumpy and had a crack here and there. There were so many fallen tree blocking the way. The panther had to jump so many tis to pass through those obstacles.

Li Shi Ying eyes felt heavy. She was slowly felt sleepy.
"Mistress, 4 more hours. We will arrive when the sun rise. Please don’t fall asleep or you will freeze to death" the pink panther noticed her mistress condition and kindly warned her.
For 4 hours, the pink panther had woke Shi Ying up a few tis with her voice. She would sotis stopped for a minutes to let Li Shi Ying stay awake with her lick.
These 4 hours were the worst ti ever in Li Shi Ying life. She had a fever over 39° C. Her body was hot but cold at the sa ti because of the cold temperature around her.
The nurous wounds on her body started to ache in pain. Her left hand was completely broken and she thought if she didn’t heal it soon, her left hand will could never be used again.
Her right hand was also aching but she had to use it to grab on the pink panther neck to prevent her falling.
Her right hand hurt so much but Li Shi Ying ignored it. It was better to hurt now rather than falling from the panther back and be trampled to death or sothing.
Li Shi Ying didn’t eat throughout the journey. She had money but there wasn’t a single human on the way from deserted town to Capital City.
Deserted town is like its na, an abandoned town. All you could find were so strayed animal living there.
Li Shi Ying stomach had growled for n-th tis but Li Shi Ying choose to ignore it. The faster she arrive, the faster she could eat!
Then her wound could also be treated earlier as so save her tiny little life. Li Shi Ying thought that the most urgent thing to do is to treat her wound as she felt that she could die if her wound wasn’t treated.
Li Shi Ying didn’t know that the worst scenario wasn’t the wound on her body. It was the slow-acting poison!
Because she exhausted her divine energy, the poison inside her body which has been suppressed up untill now, slowly spread through her body.
The poison was a slow-acting poison which will eat Li Shi Ying health bit by bit till it was too late to cure it.
Li Shi Ying would never imagine that her ignorance (using divine energy till it run out) will result to a 180° change in her life.
5 A.M in the morning.
The extrely tired Li Shi Ying finally arrived at capital city. She wasted no ti to directly went to the inn.
anwhile in the inn, Jiu Wei and the others couldn’t even sleep throughout the entire night. Jiu Wei would occasionaly look over the inn window hoping to spot a familiar figure along with the eye-catching pink panther.
Mao Mao walked around the inn with dead fish eyes and would sotis looked toward the inn entrance. The figure he wanted to see the most hadn’t been there for a day!
Jiu Wei looked at the freshly made dicine on the table and sighed. He was afraid. What if Li Shi Ying didn’t manage to escape? What if she was greatly injured and unable to go back here?
Last night was very cold, would Li Shi Ying freeze to death?
Jiu Wei knew Li Shi Ying body condition the best so he was also very worried about it.
