1283 Chapter 20 Mao Mao Love Story
"This is ...Fen Wén..." Fen Wén softly spoke as she waited for Mao Mao to let her in. At this mont, the girl’s heart was beating fast fearing that Mao Mao would look at her in a strange light.
Little did she know that the young man was also thinking like that.
With a slightly hoarse voice, Mao Mao answered right away, "Co in." The young man’s voice sounded calm like usual not showing anything unusual in it making Fen Wén cald down a bit.
"Yes, " Fen Wén opened the door and entered the room. She slowly headed to Mao Mao’s working desk and her eyes instantly caught Mao Mao who was working hard. He didn’t seem to be slacking off.
Seeing this, Fen Wén coughed lightly to tell the young man that she was here before speaking, "G-good morning, master...I’m sorry I’m late..."
The girl lowered her head looking guilty. She squeezed her palm anxiously waiting for Mao Mao to respond.
Hearing this, Mao Mao was sohow relieved as Fen Wén didn’t act differently. It ans she wasn’t aware of anything he did to her yesterday.
Calming his mind, Mao Mao lifted his head and flashed a gentle smile as per usual, "It’s alright, you must be exhausted, " the young man softly spoke, "Why don’t you rest for today? In case you are tired."
Mao Mao warm-hearted attitude successfully made Fen Wén fell head over heels with him again. The girl blushed a bit while shaking her head, "N-no needs...I am not tired..."
Fen Wén insisted on going to work today even though she just fainted yesterday. In fact, she was indeed not tired at all as she had been sleeping for almost a whole day!
Noticing Fen Wén’s eagerness to work, Mao Mao could only bitterly smile. Nodding, he imdiately said, "...alright, if that’s the case can you bring my breakfast?"

Seeing Fen Wén was still like her usual self, Mao Mao once again sighed in relief as he patted his chest. He really felt nervous and uncomfortable around Fen Wén ever since he did that to her.
Not to ntion that the girl fainted because of him...from now on, it’s better if he created distance between them.
Morning passed by quickly and it was already night again. All this ti while Mao Mao was working, as usual, Fen Wén stayed behind yet sothing was different this ti.
The girl felt the atmosphere was a bit strange. Today, Mao Mao barely talked to her and was just focusing on his work. He also preferred to eat at his office when usually he would go to the dining room for the officials.
When he ate, he also asked her to wait outside!
This bothered Fen Wén and she felt sowhat bad. Her feeling told her that Mao Mao...was avoiding her but she couldn’t just jump into a conclusion just because Mao Mao asked her to wait outside while he ate.
Thinking like this, Fen Wén glanced at Mao Mao and a plan ford in her mind. It would be dinner soon so this should be a good chance to test her doubt.
’Alright, let’s see if Mao Mao is trying to avoid or not!’ Fen Wén thought in her heart as she patiently waited until dinner ti arrived.
8 p.m
Knowing that it’s ti for dinner, Fen Wén looked at Mao Mao and opened her mouth slowly, "Master...it’s ti for dinner..." the girl softly reminded Mao Mao to eat.
Pausing his hand movent, Mao Mao looked up at the girl who was standing across him with a smile on her face. His back suddenly felt stiff all of sudden just by looking at the girl’s face.
Mao Mao hurriedly nodded without saying anything and averted his eyes back to his work. Within a glance, what Mao Mao did was completely normal but for Fen Wén it wasn’t.
Usually, Mao Mao would at least answer and got up to leave with her to the dining room but now...he just nodded. Not to ntion she felt that he just averted his eyes away?
Fen Wén instantly felt uncomfortable. The suspicion that Mao Mao was avoiding her beca even stronger than before.
’Is he avoiding ? Or is he just too busy?’ Fen Wén couldn’t help but think.
She looked at Mao Mao who was seemingly busy in his work and could only sigh. Bowing politely, Fen Wén asked, "Shall I bring the food here?"
Since Mao Mao looked like he won’t leave to eat, she should at least bring the food to his office, right?
Mao Mao paused a bit and after shutting his mouth for a few seconds, he finally answered, "Get the food and put it on my teale, " the young man ordered in a rather stern voice, "After that, you can leave."
The last sentence he spoke hit Fen Wén’s deeply as the girl’s eyes widened in disbelief.
What? Did Mao Mao just...told her to leave? But why? He usually let her stayed....
