"You’re a strong man and still very young Kane. I’m sure in no ti you will heal. I wish you only the best. Recuperate well and when you’re ready, I will go visit you at country V whenever I can," Cali encouraged, referring not just to Kane’s physical wound but his emotions.
Cali believed Kane would soon get over her now that everything was clear. After a careful thought, it was a good thing that Kane told and confird to her his true feelings so she could also clarify herself to him. It was good that they could disclose things and closed this topic once and for all.
Shane then held Cali’s hand before looking at her husband and said, " and Cali will just grab a coffee downstairs, please look after Kane?"
Josh nodded with a smile while Kane’s face crumpled and said, "I’m not a kid to be looked after by your husband."
Shane laughed and said, "Then entertain your brother-in-law while I have so private talks with Cali before going back to the villa."
Shane then pulled Cali away to the cafe at the ground floor.
"Let’s talk here because it’s uncomfortable squealing in front of Kane and Josh," Shane mumbled in excitent.
"Wow! Sothing good must have happened that you dragged here to tell!" Cali teased, seeing the beaming and sparkling eyes of Shane. She noticed it too as soon as they entered the hospital, Shane was glowing brightly, much more than the rising sun.
"Josh told that he loves !" Shane conveyed giggling and squealing at the sa ti.
Cali was aware that the marriage between Josh and Shane initially happened because Josh agreed to help her out, but in due ti they would void the marriage if it would not work out for both of them. Shane had been honest to Cali about everything. She had no secrets with her except about her involvent with Yue Clan for Cali’s own safety also, so she hid it from Cali.
"OMG! That’s so great Shane, I’m so happy for you!!!" Cali ecstatically burst. She was even teary eyed.
"Hey why are you crying?" Shane whispered and moved closer to Cali to hug her.
"It’s just tears of joy, Shane. I really wanted you to have a happy life and not be caged into a forced marriage with so old and perverted man. I was glad and happy to know that you liked and loved Josh but I was worried at the sa ti, though I knew your set-up was real so I kept hoping that Josh learns to love you along the way....
Who would have thought it would be answered right away? Oh, I’m truly so happy, Shane. Josh has a wonderful family and I can assure uncle that you will be taken care of in Josh’s ho. Gosh, my tears keep on flowing!" Cali remarked.
"You too Cali... I’m hoping for the best for you." Shane uttered. Rui seed to be treating Cali well. He had excused himself to attend so works after bringing her and Josh to Kane.
Cali gently pushed Shane and smiled. Yes, she was hoping for it too. The two were having a wonderful conversation where Shane narrated how she said I love you to Josh and the entire scenario when Cali suddenly cowered.
"What’s wrong?" Shane asked with concern, seeing Cali’s face paled. She seed in pain.
"My head... It’s aching..." Cali whispered.
"Wait, I will call Dr. Dee," Shane worriedly uttered and grabbed her mobile phone but Cali stopped her.
"No Shane. Don’t ntion this to Rui. Dion is my doctor... I will go to him, I have already scheduled a checkup with him today, anyway. Maybe I’m just tired." Cali specified, trying to compose herself. She noticed lately that she was having episodes of a headache so she would see Dion for a consultation.
"Please don’t ntion this to anyone, Shane. I don’t want them to worry over these simple things, especially Rui who has a lot on his plate right now." Cali requested, forcing a smile despite the pain she was feeling. It was tolerable and sothing she could handle.
"Alright but make sure you see Dion. I will ask him if you really had a consultation with him." Shane mumbled with narrowed eyes.
Cali laughed and nodded, "Yes, ma’am so don’t worry. I’m sure it’s nothing." Cali reassured. She then added, "So tell ... What are your plans now? For sure you will stay at Lim’s Villa for good? But how about our business? Are you going to rival your husband in business?"
Shane laughed. Because of so many things she had to handle lately, she almost forgot how she left most of her work related to their resort for Cali to handle.
"Oh, I will get back to work now. This ti you rest and I will handle our resort. Josh will definitely help with it." Shane mumbled.
Cali took the opportunity to tell Shane also her plans of studying at country A to be a professional Chef.
"That’s good Cali... What did Rui say about it?" Shane asked, curious how Rui reacted because country A was quite a distance.
"He’s okay with it and said he will support in all my endeavors. I’m really excited to do it Shane. I might hire a help for you in our business instead because I found my great passion in this. You know the feeling of being one of the famous chefs! Oh, I can’t wait!" Cali enthusiastically blurted out.
Shane laughed seeing how giddy Cali was in her new found dream.
"Hmmm, good luck then sis but for the anti go and see Dr. Dion imdiately. I’m really worried about that pain you’re having in your head." Shane reminded, hoping it was just a usual headache despite recalling how her friend underwent major head surgery not long ago.
