Perplexed...
Both felt the sa way, especially Shane, so she nuzzled Josh to see his face and confird what she just heard.
"What did you say?" Shane asked, blinking several tis. She was serious while saying those words at him, but hearing his reply in the sa serious tone caught her off guard. It was unexpected.
’Did Josh say I love you too?’ she mused. She heard the words correctly, right? She saw Josh roguishly grinned.
Afraid that she was only hallucinating, Shane asked again, "What did you just say?"
Josh had a smile that reached his eyes while his stare at Shane penetrated deep within her bones.
"I was planning to make it a romantic confession, a day to rember forever, to tell you how I felt for you, but you suddenly blasted those words on such that I couldn’t help but answer you right away." Josh stated before cupping Shane’s face and declaring to her, "Mrs. Shane Lim... I love you... I love you... I love you... I love you..."
"I hope I have said it enough tis for you to hear it?" Josh uttered. Shane nodded and abruptly kissed Josh, leaving him no room for air to gasp.
"Who said I need a romantic set-up for your confession? Just hearing those words coming from your heart and on your lips is more than enough," Shane mumbled between her kisses.
She felt she was at cloud nine and everything in her surroundings were covered in bright light brought about by a blast of fireworks everywhere. She was too grateful and blissful at that mont.
Nothing was more rejoiceful than a love that was reciprocated. She did not end up having the unrequited love she once thought she would end up with, but her love was reciprocated!
That night Shane’s room was filled with humming and moaning sounds of love making overnight, as they both couldn’t have enough of each other. They were so much engrossed in themselves that Josh was a bit skeptical after a few tis, if they went overboard and asked Shane if her room was sowhat soundproof because of their aggressive lovemaking where both could not satiate their hunger of being in each other’s arms, lost deep in each other.
"Nah... Don’t mind them... They wouldn’t care besides we’re in the process of producing a baby so they might even silently cheer for us." Shane muttered before rolling over Josh on their bed.
"I will dry all your energy tonight." Shane winked, followed by an evil laugh. Josh’s face reddened before whispering, "Do as you please my love..."
Shane cringed because she was not used to Josh saying such cheesy words. Maybe she should get used to it from now on.

"We’re in... She did it!" Chad inford Xander pertaining to Shane who managed to put the malware in the system of the Yue clan.
"Didn’t it go too easily for her to penetrate the system, install the malware and not even get caught? I an, I was expecting the Yue clan to be more guarded against such threats, given the situation they are in right now?" Lana comnted.
"My sa sentints as well... Unless soone from the inside let her go easily?" Xander comnted.
"Yeah, she said Raine’s right-hand man made it easy for her..." Chad comnted.
"Raine is the King’s daughter, right? How co you haven’t seen her as well? Shouldn’t you guys have so events like parties to gather and et each other?" Lana comnted.
Chad laughed and said, "I think you almost forgot that I hid in your country as Keira’s bodyguard for so long, Lana. Unfortunately, there were no events or parties when I arrived for to et her. Besides, that princess is not an ordinary woman. Most people who t her say she is like thin air. You will feel her presence but cannot see her appearance most of the ti. I heard that woman love disguises. But Shane had seen her. Maybe we can ask her later to draw her picture or describe it for a sketch?"
��No need, you said she’s quite harmless, so why to bother about her? Our only target is Yun since he’s the one manipulating things and planning everything to dispose of my bloodline." Xander comnted before going through so more docunts inside Chad’s private room where no one had access except Chad.
The three were back to wrap up certain things before the trial began. Almost everything was ready except for one.
"How’s patient X?" Chad asked Xander.
"He is improving, but it’s still not safe for him to travel here... Dr. Black is trying to prepare him well for the trial. Hopefully, he can manage to testify during that ti." Xander murmured.
Patient X was the key for this trial since he was the only evidence against Yun. He was the one who had direct communication with Yun himself. The man who shot Yera in the kidnapping case. It so happened that he was instructed by Yun to kill Yera so the bla could be put on to Xander since they were sworn enemies in business during that ti.
The man, patient X, was clever enough to record the evidence of Yun negotiating with him for that special instruction of killing Yera.
But he was shot by the gang leader that led him in a coma state. They prepared everything and connected the dots together. At the trial they would specify every detail in pulling Yun down.
To be honest, Xander felt as if soone was helping him from behind the scenes, and he wondered who it was. He got an anonymous ssage about the trial saying they should make sure to bring Yun down. Once Yun was pronounced guilty, he would be sentenced to death by hanging. In that tip he got, they should wrap it all before King Marcus woke up from his coma as that would be worse if he woke up and Yun was still unscathed.
Chad later confird it with Ester and the latter said that the information was reliable.
"Could it be that Tyron?" Xander mused at the thought of the person who let Shane off that easily. If not for that Tyron, Shane would be in great danger once that security checked her up.
Xander instructed Zach to pull Shane and Josh away as early as possible from Yue’s territory back at country D since Shane was already done with her mission. He wanted to make sure that Shane would be safe.
’Or could it be Raine?’ Xander mused next since Tyron was Raine’s right-hand man. Shane once had ntioned that Raine wanted to reform the Yue’s clan. So it was possible that Raine wanted Yun, her own uncle, down?
