At Yang Hospital
The board eting started as scheduled. Jam, who was already with her father and Lyndon inside the eting room, was way too restless. The officer at the detention centre had promised her that they would give her a copy of the cctv footage this morning since they could not give it to her that easily the day before without approval from their higher managent even though she was a family mber of the detainee.
’Just wait for you bitch... I will expose you!!!’ she mused.
The eting had already started and everyone voted in favor for his father to step down from his position since it was proved that he was pretty incapable of managing the hospital.
They heard a commotion outside the eting room and everyone was startled when one of the security n rushed inside.
"What is it?!" Chairman Go exclaid with furrowed forehead. His mood was not good because the bunch of idiots in front of him wanted him out of the picture, from his company that he had acquired with so much effort!
"Chairman... I’m sorry but the police are on their way to..." the guard could not finish his sentence because the police suddenly barged inside.
"What’s happening?!" Jam yelled when the police approached her father with handcuffs.
"Mr. Roy Go you are under arrest for the murder of Mr. Randy and Mrs. Yeng Han." the police remarked.
"What?! Are you nuts?! That case was closed ages ago and it proved to be an accident!" Roy Go barked and grabbed the warrant issued to him from the police’s hand.
"You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can be used against you in court. You have the right to talk to a lawyer for advice before we ask you any questions. You have the right to have a lawyer with you during questioning. If you cannot afford a lawyer, one will be appointed for you before any questioning if you wish. If you decide to answer questions now without a lawyer present, you have the right to stop answering at any ti." the police officer addressed while two more police officers held Roy Go’s arms to escort him outside.
Everyone was speechless especially Jam who went out to be with her father while she tried to call their attorney.
Back in the eting room, one of the board mbers spoke, "this ti the position will definitely be vacant so we have to vote for who should sit at the Chairman’s position..."
Shan, who was there to note minutes of the eting, bit her lips. Everyone was present except for Dr. Deyna Song. "We can just call Dr. Song for her vote so we should not let this wait further and let’s finalize everything from here." one of the board mbers added.
"Alright... We shall start..." the presiding committee stated and signaled one of the secretaries inside to close the door of the eting room.
The secretary stood up from her seat and closed the doors. She was almost halfway into closing it when she abruptly paused. She moved backwards and left the door open.
"What are you doing close the door!" scoffed Mr. Lua, one of the board mbers. Life Hospitals group would go down if they did not imdiately fix the issue.
Another shocking scene happened when Dr. Yera Han entered through the door. Everyone was confused because she looked exactly like Dr. Yera Han.
"Is that Dr. Song?" soone loudly mumbled.
"Good morning ladies and gentlen. I bet you are all confused... Shan, can you please open the television first so everyone can watch the press conference of the Kens..."
Sham imdiately obeyed and opened the television for everyone to watch while Yera sat on her grandfather’s chair comfortably, the chairman’s chair...
Everyone was imdiately focussed on the television while Yera observed everyone’s expression.
"Chief Doctor Song nad her Deyna Song and to answer your question on where Dr. Deyna Song is right now... I an Dr. Yera Han... Well she is now back to the place where she belongs... Life Hospitals group where else..." was the last sentence everyone witnessed before Yera signaled Shan to turn off the television.
"Thanks Shan," Yera muttered with a grin because she couldn’t help to get amused with those words from Dean Ken.
Then her face beca suddenly serious at the thought that her parents were also killed. She got to know about it only yesterday. Her husband did not ntion that he was also investigating her parents’ death way before including the accidents she experienced when she was growing up because of which she even thought she was jinxed. It turned out that the bastard Roy Go was the one responsible for those. Too bad for him because he never succeeded even once.
Then she t Lyndon’s eyes... She could see him tearing up when he whispered, "Yera..."
She ignored him and gave everyone inside a sharp look followed by her evil smile. "So... I heard you wanted a vote for the Chairman’s position... Hmm too bad because I will be the one to sit in here." she declared with a smirk then she added, "Also, the position of the COO will be taken over by my brother. He will be the new COO of life hospitals..."
Everyone in the room was astounded and dumbconfounded...
"Why? Of course I am going to kick out Jam Go... Do you want to keep her in position otherwise? Who knows? She could be the one responsible for my abduction as well? Or perhaps an accomplice with soone?" Yera comnted full of mockery.
"Ahm Chairwoman Han... It’s not about that. We are actually surprised to hear you say brother?" Mr. Lua asked.
"Oh... Yes... I will formally introduce him to you all. Right now he’s still recovering from the gunshot wounds..." Yera shared and saw the conflicted expressions on everyone’s face so she added, "Yes, you are right. Dr. Dion Chen Han is my brother. He is my father’s son..."
