Before Ark could even say anything, Ephine spoke up.

"Maybe we should split up, to increase our efficiency a little."

Hearing Ephine's suggestion, Ark was a little hesitant. Even though he knew that they were all strong, he didn't want to leave them. If they split up, he wouldn't be able to protect them if sothing unexpected happened. If the commotion was big enough, he would probably notice, but what if it was too late at that point?

Even though he was worried for them, he respected her opinion, and he knew that it was most definitely the smartest move if they wanted to increase their strength rapidly.

"I guess that's probably for the better, but if we're going to split up, then soone definitely has to go with Atar, in case he runs into sothing unexpected, or humans for that matter, a kid can't just run around in a dungeon alone, especially not since he doesn't know how to interact with others."

"I'll go with him, he won't leave my sight!"

Thufrat quickly volunteered himself to go with him. Amongst everyone here, he was probably the most used to interacting with others. Even though Ephine was way better than Atar at interacting with others, she tended to act coldly towards people she didn't know, and she didn't really speak much either, it was still a little foreign to her after all.

Thufrat also found the little kid quite amusing, and because of his great strength, he wouldn't be dead weight or anything like that.

Since that was settled, they all decided to split up imdiately, and go their own ways. Even though he was worried, Ark was also excited. He felt like a caged beast that was just about to be released. And that wasn't too far from the truth either. Even though all four of them were really strong, Ark was ultimately held back by them.

Not necessarily because of their strength, but more so by the way they "hunted" their enemies.

If he was by himself he could take it more seriously and didn't need to walk around at a reasonable pace. He could just go all-out, sprinting around looking for prey, he could be as reckless as he wanted without having to worry about others. With his newfound physical strength, he didn't even need to use cellular mana infusion to keep his old speed.

But if he used it now, his speed would grow to a new level!

With that in mind, Ark infused himself with mana and started sprinting throughout the forest. The wind whistled as he passed, and it didn't take him long at all before he found his first victim. Since he wanted to go for efficiency now that they had split up, Ark didn't use his mana erosion, instead, he rely used magic to conjure up a large blade of light, that cleaved his foe in half.

The undead could barely react before it died, and Ark only picked up the mana crystal before he disappeared into the forest again.

Like this, he ran around the forest of the dead like a reaper of the undead, instead of a reaper with a dark scythe, he was more like a reaper with a scythe of light, although in reality, he didn't use a scythe of course. Because of his affinity to light mana, Ark could easily get rid of hordes of undead, not to ntion them being spread out like this.

Even though their individual levels were higher than his, it didn't really matter. He was a perfect counter to undead after all. His stats were also way higher than others his level, not to ntion his plethora of strong skills.

After killing for a few hours without stopping, Ark ran into an undead that was on another level. The undead had mutated from one of the many undead bears roaming about, and its level was naturally higher than its peers. Unfortunately for the bear, its domination over its peers didn't matter when he brought out his holy spear, nearly instantly taking the bears pitiful life.

Due to the relative ease at which he could kill his opponents, Ark quickly got bored.

Although the dungeon was nice due to its safety, Ark wanted an exciting battle! Even though most exciting battles were exciting because of their danger, Ark just wanted a change of pace. As he thought about it, he silently cursed at himself in his mind. It had only been a single day, and he was already bored?

This was going to be their daily routine for a while going forward, if he was already bored after a day, then how would he feel after a week?

Putting his useless thoughts in the back of his head, Ark picked up the mana crystal and put it in his spatial bag. Since they had already been here for hours, it was probably ti for them to take a break, and get sothing to eat. Going back to the city would waste plenty of ti in their human forms, so Ark resolved himself to cook for them today.

He wasn't planning to spend his entire life inside of a dungeon, so after eating, they could probably go back in for another hour or two, before returning to the city.

The only thing remaining to do was finding everyone else...

In hindsight, he should've probably set a place and ti for them to et, but oh well, he would rember to do it in the future. Luckily for Ark, his senses were superb, and he could use his sense of sll enhanced with mana to locate them in the large forest fairly easily. Since her sll was the closest to him, Ark decided to rendezvous with Ephine first, before finding Atar and Thufrat.

After running for a while, Ark found Ephine in the midst of battling a rather large undead. The undead was covered from head to toe in dark-grey steel armour, and he was crazily swinging around a large broadsword, trying to deflect a rain of magic arrows of different colours. The arrows all contained different elents, and crazily sought to destroy their target, which they did shortly.

The sword that the large undead wielded seed to have so anti-magic properties, as all the magic he hit with it dissipated in the air. A sword that could cut magic sounded like a dream for any knight, but unfortunately for the undead knight, there was no way it could swing the large sword fast enough to deflect all the arrows.

Since she could take care of it pretty easily on her own, Ark didn't interfere, and just watched from the sidelines. After she had defeated the undead, she turned to him and smiled. Seeing her smile always made Ark happy, and since they hadn't seen each other for a few hours, they chatted for a bit before they left to find Thufrat and Atar.

To his surprise, Ark noticed that Atar and Thufrat were already moving in their direction, they were probably looking for them as well.

When they all t up again, Atar was excitedly talking to Thufrat about sothing. Ark was a little surprised, Atar usually didn't really speak that much. It was a new sight for him.

"What're you guys talking about?"

He couldn't help but be interested, what exactly happened?

"Dad, you should've seen, uncle Thufrat was this strong!"

As he talked, he tried to gesture with his hands, but it kind of looked like an old man trying to show off to his friends about how big of a fish he had once caught...
