Since it was already late, no one bothered each other as they all went directly to bed, the only one who was still awake in the large great hall was Ark. During the day, he had gained 5 levels! Sure, 5 levels wasn't a crazy amount, but since it had just been an ordinary day of levelling, he could expect similar results in the future, and getting 5 levels a day seed like a great deal to him.
The number of levels he gained would naturally beco less the stronger he got, but for now, this was a good amount to gain with just a day's hard work.
Since 5 levels gave him 25 stat points, and since he had 275 points of intelligence, Ark didn't hesitate before making it an even 300. As soon as he did, the mana in his surroundings seed to go completely haywire and started surging towards him as if it turned crazy. The violent and unending stream of mana quickly penetrated his body, perating every single cell, and every inch of his body.
A crazy amount of pressure started building as his surroundings quickly turned chaotic.
There was no way Ephine and Atar could sleep under such crazy conditions, and they both woke up almost imdiately. Seeing Ark being engulfed by mana, both of them imdiately backed off, looking worried in the process. Even though they instinctively wanted to help him, they had no idea what was going on, so there was no way for them to do so.
In reality, they didn't even know if anything bad was happening to him. After a closer look, Ephine seed to realise that she had been a bit too anxious since Ark seed to be enjoying himself in the midst of the mana.
Atar didn't really figure it out quickly, but since his mom didn't do anything, he didn't want to do anything rash. Whilst they were both wondering what was going on, Ark was undergoing a baptism of mana, reforging his body into sothing completely different than before. He didn't expect such a drastic change when he got 300 intelligence, but so far, the experience wasn't too bad.
The feeling in his body was unlike anything he had ever felt before, as his body's structure changed on a molecular level.
Every single part of his being was getting infused with trendous amounts of mana. It felt as if he was mana, and mana was him. Before long, the raging mana in the surroundings was beginning to dry up and settle down, there wasn't an infinite amount of mana there after all. Before he could revel in the feeling of his new body for long, a monotone voice abruptly interrupted him.

Hearing the voice, Ark could figure out why his body had been seemingly reforged. The skill he had gotten from getting 300 intelligence was "Mana Erosion" whilst his body's weird state must've been because of the new skill "Mana Body". Since it had been a while since he had last checked out his status page, and since there had been plenty of changes recently, he decided to check it out.

Seeing the changes his new skill "Mana Body" brought him, Ark was amazed. Such a simple-sounding skill had actually boosted his body's attributes by a trendous amount. Compared to the 45 of the past, this new skill actually gave him an extra 75 of each physical attribute, and it would get even higher when he levelled the skill up.
Before he checked anything else, Ark imdiately used "Inspect" on the skill, to see what it really did.

The host has a body completely reforged with mana, infusing all of the host's entire being with mana. Grants trendous amounts of physical strength, as well as increased mana affinity. Also greatly increases mana regeneration.
Seeing the lengthy description, Ark knew that he had struck gold this ti. This skill was just way too powerful! Not only did it make him significantly stronger, it also enhanced his affinity to mana as well as his mana regeneration.
Since the mana had also beco an actual part of his body, he wouldn't lose his physical strength buff if he ran out of mana, this buff was now permanent, as it was a part of his body after all.
Even though it was really good, Ark could already feel the changes in his body by himself, what was more exciting to him was his new skill, "Mana Erosion".

Allows the host to erode all things with the help of his mana.
The description was very short, but Ark could feel the potential of the skill just from that short description. If he could erode all things, wouldn't he be able to erode others' mana? Wouldn't that allow him to destroy other peoples' magic? Couldn't he erode an opponents muscles or even their blood, killing them directly?
At the thought of the dormant power in this simple skill, Ark was instantly over the moon. Depending on how it worked, this might very well be his strongest skill yet. Before he could get too excited, he heard a voice laced with worry cut the silence of the dark night.
"Are you ok?"
Hearing Ephine's gentle tone, Ark cald down a bit from his excitent, before he promptly responded. "I'm sorry about that, I'm fine, in fact, I'm even stronger than before!"
Letting out a sigh, Ephine responded in a delighted voice.
"I'm glad to hear that."
With the whole ordeal out of the way, and the mana in their surroundings back in order, they all soon fell asleep, awaiting the next day.
In the morning when they woke up, Ark was already excited, he really wanted to try out his new powers! He just wanted to test the limits of his newfound powers quickly, and hopefully they wouldn't let him down!
Thufrat had slept like a log the night before, and he didn't wake up during all the disturbance, so he was a little perturbed by Arks excitent, he didn't really understand what was going on.
