The ambulance arrived at the county hospital.

Director Fang, montarily stunned, looked at Liu Hua and then back at Xia Wan. “Is this your friend?”
The expected scene of bloodied and severely injured patients was completely absent.
Liu Hua greeted Director Fang politely. “Thank you, everyone. I’m feeling much better now!”
“Don’t you need a more thorough examination?” Director Fang eventually regained his senses.
Xia Wan nodded at Director Fang. “Thank you, Director Fang. We ca to the ergency room for a specific reason.”
“If there’s nothing else, we’ll be leaving now,” Xia Wan said, taking Liu Hua’s hand and heading out.
Had the police not insisted on an ambulance for Liu Hua, this trip wouldn’t have been necessary. However, it did provide Xia Wan the opportunity to contact Officer Song, avoiding so unnecessary hassle.
Linda was still at the police station. They had to hurry there as soon as possible.

After hanging up, Director Fang approached Xia Wan. “Miss Xia, the hospital will arrange a car to take you ho.”
“No need,” Xia Wan imdiately declined.
Director Fang persisted, “Your friend just ca out of the ergency room and needs rest. Besides, this is the hospital’s arrangent. It’s a courtesy you deserve!”
Although Xia Wan was hesitant, she eventually agreed, considering Liu Hua’s condition. “Thank you, Director Fang.”
Liu Hua, puzzled about why Director Fang said it was arranged by the hospital, did not inquire further. She assud it was due to her recent ergency treatnt and the director’s acquaintance with Xia Wan.
The car arrived at the police station entrance just as Xia Wan saw Officer Song waiting.
“Officer Song, we’re here,” Xia Wan greeted.
Officer Song promptly approached. “Miss Xia, we’ve cleared up today’s incident. Regarding your friend…”
“Officer Song, I didn’t call to disrupt the police station’s normal operations,” Xia Wan interrupted. “Also, what did you find about that person?”
“We haven’t found anything unusual about that person,” Officer Song shook his head.
