Xia Wan and Liu Hua, following the guidance of old Tao, walked northward along the alley for two intersections before they saw the bus stop heading towards the school.

A lone iron sign stood on a pile of dirt, looking as if it had been temporarily placed there.

“This place is really remote, and I admire your courage for daring to go to the gallery with that old man,” Liu Hua couldn’t help but exclaim.

Xia Wan smiled and didn’t directly ntion that she had seen the old man’s face on so promotional posters before.

The two waited for a while, but the bus did not co.

Liu Hua tugged at Xia Wan’s sleeve, “What is that silk? Is it really as valuable as gold?”

Xia Wan nodded seriously, “The wisdom and skill of our ancestors are indeed very valuable!”

Hearing that this craft was valuable, Liu Hua imdiately beca interested. “Can I learn it?”

Xia Wan was taken aback at first, then thought for a mont before saying, “This craft is quite complicated, not sothing one can just learn on a whim.” Liu Hua’s face fell in disappointnt.

Xia Wan patted her shoulder, “If I find a craftsman who inherits this skill, I’ll definitely introduce you.”

Liu Hua’s eyes lit up instantly. “Really? Great!”

After English training ended, Xia Chen carried his backpack and walked towards the school gate.

“Xia Chen, I have sothing to tell you,” a voice called out from behind him.

Xia Chen twitched his eyelid but didn’t stop walking.

Footsteps sounded from behind, and the person hurriedly caught up to Xia Chen.

“What do you want to do again?” Xia Chen asked impatiently.

Zhou Chen moved in front of Xia Chen. “Are you, familiar with Teacher Lin?”

“I saw you exchanging glances with her in class. Have you been in contact with Teacher Lin privately?”

Zhou Chen’s tone of questioning was as if Teacher Lin was his personal property.

Xia Chen showed an impatient expression, “Whether I’m familiar with Teacher Lin or not has nothing to do with you.

“I’m not familiar with you either, and you have no right to block my way or question here!

“I don’t have to answer your questions! Please get out of the way!”

Xia Chen was polite, but Zhou Chen clearly didn’t take his politeness as a courtesy.

“Why are you so stubborn!” Zhou Chen’s tone beca more impatient.

“I’m telling you, don’t think that just because your English is good and you look okay, Teacher Lin will regard you highly!” Zhou Chen said through gritted teeth.

“I warn you, you better stay away from Teacher Lin, or you’ll regret it!”

Zhou Chen’s threats, which weren’t very nacing, only elicited a “You’re crazy” from Xia Chen.

Xia Chen stepped forward to leave but was blocked again by Zhou Chen, “Xia Chen, don’t take my words lightly, or I can’t guarantee you won’t really get hurt soday! ”

“Fine! I got it!” Xia Chen nodded, not wanting to waste more words with Zhou Chen, bypassed him, slung his backpack over his shoulder, and quickly left the school gate.

Just a few ters away from the school, Xia Chen saw a familiar figure in front of him.

“Hey, Xia Chen, I’ve been waiting for you for a long ti!” Linda waved happily and took a few steps towards Xia Chen.

Xia Chen jogged up to Linda, frowning slightly, “What are you doing here?”

Linda looked puzzled, “I’m waiting to walk with you! What’s wrong? Do you have another appointnt today?”

Xia Chen shook his head.

Imdiately, Linda happily turned to Xia Chen’s side, grabbing his arm, “Then let’s go! Last ti Zhou En said that the snacks at the tea stall near your shop are good, I want to try them too.”

Xia Chen tried to shrink his arm, but Linda held on tight and dragged him forward, leaving him no way to break free.

Shortly after the two left, several people walked out of the school’s main gate.

From a distance, they saw Xia Chen and a long-haired woman wearing a denim jacket pulling and tugging at each other.

“Hey! Look! Isn’t that Xia Chen and the woman from last ti?” a boy with a straw in his mouth said.

“Yes, yes! I recognize those long legs!” another boy with a backpack strap on his head echoed.

Zhuang Peng also noticed the two people who had walked far away, his face full of malice, “Still pretending to be so innocent and harmless!” “It’s only been a few days, and this woman has already shown up!”

“I’ll let everyone know what kind of person Xia Chen really is!”

“Brothers! Follow them!”
