Chapter 405: 405: Don’t Leave

Again (Part 7)_1

She grabbed a small bottle and ran back, Zhi Chen was already being supported and laid on the bed by Haoming and Yue Ning.

Dong Huiying tore off the blue cloth over the bottle’s mouth, then removed the wooden stopper, only to see a gu resembling a golden bean inside.

This gu was precisely the Devouring God Gu within Dong Huiying’s body.

A few days ago, Dong Huiying swallowed more than twenty Gu Kings in one breath. Following this, the toxicity of these Gu Kings slowly consud the Devouring God Gu. The dried bloodstains on the iron cage outside were exactly those left at that ti.

Later, it was sort of a pyrrhic victory; the Devouring God Gu was gravely weakened, and Dong Huiying used so thods to finally extract the gu from her head with great difficulty.

And now, as the gu chirped and crawled outwards, Dong Huiying did not stop it.

The Devouring God Gu crawled out of the bottle’s mouth. It seed to be very wary of Dong Huiying, climbing out quickly as if trying to get away from her.

But not long after, its small body resembling a golden bean suddenly paused. It appeared suspicious, as if sothing was attracting it.

Dong Huiying held her breath and focused. Under her gaze, the Devouring God Gu tentatively crawled towards Liang Zhichen.

It climbed up Liang Zhichen’s wrist, wobbling as it tried to enter his nose, but right then, Dong Huiying suddenly made her move.

She clamped onto the small body of the Devouring God Gu and stuffed it back into the bottle. The Devouring God Gu let out irritated chirps, sounding quite enraged.

But the wooden stopper was put back in place, and the blue cloth retied around the bottle. Because the stopper and the cloth were sprinkled with powder specifically against the Devouring God Gu, which was its bane, once it fell back into the bottle, the Devouring God Gu actually quieted down.

After putting away the Devouring God Gu, Dong Huiying went back to Shujun’s room once more and brought back a large bag.

"What happened, what’s the matter?" Shen Qiuyang only then got up, sensitively sensing that sothing was amiss with the atmosphere.

"Zhi Chen is poisoned with a gu, the Devouring God Gu!"

Shen Qiuyang was instantly stunned!

After that, Dong Huiying took out a small knife, cut open both of Liang Zhichen’s wrists, made several more cuts on his arms, chest, and back. These wounds weren’t deep, but they bled a lot.

She picked up the Golden Needle and inserted it several tis into Liang Zhichen’s head; he let out a faint moan, after which bulging blue veins, which were tinged with a bit of purple, appeared at his temples.

All of a sudden, a small lump rose within the veins on his forehead.

The lump seed alive, as if it was crawling along Liang Zhichen’s veins.

Liang Zhichen had many wounds on his body, and the blood was flowing quickly; the small lump moved with the flow of the blood, gradually making its way to his arm.

But suddenly, as if sensing danger and about to crawl out, it retreated abruptly.

It wreaked havoc inside Liang Zhichen’s body, stunning everyone watching.

Haoming’s lips pressed into a thin line, and he suddenly pulled out a dagger, ready to gouge out the small living thing causing chaos in his older brother’s body, but Dong Huiying grabbed his wrist to stop him.

"No, this is a gu! And it reproduces extrely fast. If we were to rashly remove it, it would surely leave Gu eggs in Liang Zhichen’s body, and since Gu eggs are exceptionally small, they are very hard to remove before they mature. Right now, all we can do is wait."

She was deeply distressed and then pulled out the moxibustion needles from Liang Zhichen’s head, poking him repeatedly at several acupoints on his body.

The Young Gu originally intended to crawl back into Liang Zhichen’s head, but then it discovered that its way was blocked, as if sothing was obstructing it, and it was forced to find another path.
