Chapter 158: 158: Tiny and Cute (Part 2)_1

He sighed softly, his voice tinged with lancholy, "This song, it can no longer be sung, truly it cannot."

Liang Shujun had long harbored this thought, but previously, he needed to treat Shu Yu’s illness, to call for a "Doctor" for Shu Yu. No matter how much suffering he had to endure, he could take it as nourishnt.

In the past, because of his performances at Sky Blue Building, the young lady had caused quite a stir nurous tis, almost as if he was consorting with others, doing disgraceful things behind her back. But at that ti he couldn’t be bothered with the young lady, because she was the type to make a fuss over nothing.

But recently, the young lady’s personality had changed. And it was precisely because of her change that he had to hold himself back. Otherwise, if he truly angered her, the hard-earned peaceful days that their family had finally found might go up in smoke once again.

Liang Shujun was unaware that Dong Huiying was present. He curved his lips slightly, took a deep bow to everyone, and then, among the noise and commotion, he walked backstage.

He Su was stunned.

"Mr. Gao?"

She gasped, then quickly grabbed a Young Servant and asked, "Who is that Mr. Gao? Could it be my husband, Gao Jian?"

Tie Hailan’s eyebrows arched, a hint of amusent in her eyes.

The Young Servant replied with a trembling voice, "To Lady He, it is indeed your husband, Gao Jian."

He Su clenched her fists, "He’s outrageously bold!"

The usually graceful lady now had a face ashen with anger.

She suddenly stood up and charged straight at Brother Liubao. "I want to see Phoenix Blood!"

Brother Liubao had an almost tearful look on his face.

"Aiya, of course, Lady He, you’re a regular here. You must help

persuade Phoenix Blood," he said.

Brother Liubao thought to himself that Phoenix Blood was the star attraction of Sky Blue Building, and if he left, the business here would surely plumt. Just like not long ago, when Phoenix Blood suffered a severe injury for so reason and had to recuperate at ho for a month, during which the business at Sky Blue Building was dreadful, bringing him a lot of worries.

He Su, wearing a rigid expression, brushed him off with a few words and then hurriedly followed Brother Liubao inside.

Liang Shujun sat on a chair, looking at his reflection in the Brass Mirror. He pulled off his headband, letting his long hair cascade down.

Around him were several Young Servants, all with different expressions. So were schadenfreude, while others sighed with pity.

Phoenix Blood was leaving, which was both a good and bad thing for them.

When Phoenix Blood was here, clients ca for his golden voice; although he only sold his performance and not his body, and only had a handso face, Brother Liubao revered him like a deity. As for themselves, even all combined, they couldn’t match the drawing power of a single Phoenix Blood.

"Phoenix Blood, are you really leaving?"

Liang Shujun nodded, "Yes, I’m leaving."

He changed into his rough hemp clothes and picked up a kerchief to wipe off the bright lipstick.

The little woman at ho seed to have a peculiar sense of aesthetics; she didn’t like n with makeup, only preferring a plain and quiet appearance.

He Su burst through the door.

"Phoenix Blood!"

Liang Shujun’s body tensed, he turned and smiled, "Is it Lady He? Have you returned from your long trip?"

He Su hurried toward Liang Shujun.

"I’m sorry, Phoenix Blood. I just returned today, and I was truly unaware of Gao Jian’s actions. Has he mistreated you in any way?"

Liang Shujun smiled, but there was a chill in his eyes.

"Phoenix Blood is fine, you needn’t worry."

He Su’s throat was filled with bitterness, "I... I know I made a grave mistake initially, but I have genuinely repented. Phoenix Blood, how long will you continue to hold a grudge against ?"
