Rei was playing with king as they waited for rlin and liodas return with Escanor.
"Hey Rei, what do you even want to do?" King replied while he was in his fat form.
Rei shrugged while he looked around king's room. The room was quite basic, simple decorations and minimal items.
"Borin" Rei said trying to say boring.
*Puchi
King had a small tick mark on his head as he heard Rei comnt on his room.
"Well I'm sorry that my room isn't fun like rlin's." King said to Rei.
"No you borin." Rei shoot his head and pointed at King.
"What do you an I'm boring? Can't you see my powers and finesse with this form of mine." King said whilst showing off his form.
"rin magic, pa got full couner, Ban got Sach, Diane is giant, Gower got cool armour, new person don't know and you..." Rei paused a little before studying King.
".....You fat and borin."
"WHAT!!" King exclaid at Rei's comnt about him. He made sure to look around to make sure no ones looking.
"Listen here Rei, I'm cooler than the rest of them ok?" King tried to persuade the little ancestor in front for him.
"No, pa and rlin way cooler." Rei shook his head.
"But are they Kings?" King said slightly revealing the fact that he is the fairy king.
"What being king do against pa strength?" Rei said pointing at King.
"Fine! But my weapon is cooler than theirs." King said grasping at straws.
"Proof!" Rei said wanting to see it since King had never shown it. Rei wanted to add the weapon to his collection in Unlimited Blade Works.
"You want proof here! Holy Spear Chastiefol!!" King said bringing out his spear.
"....." Rei just watched with a straight face.
"My spear has eight forms that can be used by . Each one is amazing you see!" King said showing off his weapon.
"Show form!" Rei said wanting to see the other forms.
"Hehee~ You see how great it is now? Co on, ask nicely to see the forms." King said trying to tempt Rei.
Rei frowned a little as he stood up and plodded out of the room to go find Diane or Ban to ss around with.
"Eh wait, Rei? Little capt? Little anscestor?Co on, fine I'll show you." King said with a sigh. Rei suddenly turned around with a victorious grin.
'Why is pleasing Rei so hard...' King though as he started to transform the spear. Before he could even get onto the other forms, Rei had already latched himself to the pillow form of Chastiefol.
Rei started to snuggle up into the pillow and roll around enjoying it's softness.
"Hou hou~ even you have these baby like monts." King said crouching next to Rei who freezed half way through his roll. Normally Rei could be seen quite serious but King felt good being able to make Rei show his childish side.
Rei sat up quickly as coughed as his cheeks flushed from embarrassnt.
'This pillow is soft and it can help move around. I need to make King lend it to for a bit.' Rei though as he doesn't have enough mana to trace the Holy Spear Chastiefol out just yet.
"Pillow, I want....Pwease" Rei said pointing at the pillow before back at himself. However, he had bit his tongue when he had tried to say please.
'AAAHHHHH!!!' Rei scread internally as it hurt so much more as a baby. He had a small about of tears gather from the corner of his eyes as he doesn't have full control over his body yet.
*Badum
King felt his heart warm up seeing a baby Rei hold it's mouth with tears in his eyes as he tried to say please but bit his tongue.
"You can have the pillow!!!" King shouted with a thumbs up.
'EASY!!!' Rei thought about how easy it was for King to give him the pillow. He then turned around and planted his face into the pillow drowning out the pain.
"Hey King." Diane said from out the window.
"D-D-D-DIANE!" King said shocked at how close Diane's face was.
"Kyaa! Rei chan is so cute with the pillow." Diane's eyes brightened seeing Rei snuggle in the pillow.
*Kacha
King felt his heart break.
'Did I just get ignored because of Rei...' King kneeled while he thought deeply.
'DAMN YOU REI!!! You stole Diane's attention from !!!' King shouted in his mind as he looked in Rei's direction with tears and biting his bottom lip.
Rei looked up yo see King's teared up envious face. Rei sweat dropped at the fact that King was jealous of a baby.
'Bro? I didn't even do anything. You gave the pillow.' Rei thought while he tried to move the pillow to the window so he can go ss around with Diane.
Diane found Rei to be even cuter as he tried to shuffle his body so that the pillow moved with him.
"Ne King, can you help Rei?" Diane asked looking at King who was still kneeling.
"Of course! Even if I ans helping my ene- pui pui! I an Rei, I'll do it since you requested!!" King said as he quickly cleaned himself up and move the pillow over to where Diane was.
Opening the window, Rei climbed onto Diane's hand with the pillow whilst King followed.
"Now then Rei where do you want to go?" Diane asked with a smile.
"rlin lab!" Rei said pointing at rlin's tower.
"But arn't we not allowed in there when rlin's not here?" Diane said. Rei frowned a little before he closed his eyes and thought about what he should do since he's bored.
"Ban!" Rei said after so though.
"Sure, we'll go find Ban. You coming King?" Diane asked to which King reluctantly agreed.
Rei watched the scenery from up high. He could see the city, the mountains, and the villages from up here.
'Eve would have enjoyed this.....' Rei though.
He suddenly widened his eyes after a pause.
'Why would Eve like this? How would I know?' Rei thought as he tried to dig through his mory but couldn't find anything.
'Should I ask rlin to help ?...No that's too risky if she found my mories of other worlds.' Rei thought eventually shaking his head.
'Why are you constantly on my mind Eve....' Rei thought while they arrived near where Ban was.
Ban walked out as he looked up and smiled.
"Yo!" Ban greeted jumping up to the top of the building to get a better view.
"Hey Ban, Rei wanted to play with you for a bit." Diane said as he moved her palm near Ban.
"Yo Mini Capt, what do you want to do?" Ban asked as he walked up to Rei with a smile.
Rei shrugged as he snuggled on the pillow.
"How about I show you around the forests?" Ban suggested. Rei looked at his pillow with reluctance before sighing and climbed onto Ban's back.
"Hey mini capt, you should be in front of so you don't fall off." Ban said as he grabbed Rei and brought him in front of him.
"Diane, King. I'll look after the little guy, you two have fun." Ban grinned at King clearly suggesting sothing which King beca red at.
"Ok see you guys in a while." Diane said with a smile and a small wave.
"See ya." Ban said jumping down from the tower before using different buildings to travel quickly. Rei smiled brightly as he had missed this feeling of rush and speed.
"Yeaaahhhhh!!!!" Rei shouted.
"Hou~ Mini Capt, you like the thrill? Shall I go faster?" Ban asked as he looked down at Rei with a smile.
"Un!" Rei nodded.
"Hahaha as you say then Mini Capt." Ban replied as he sped up.
Ban parkoured around the forest, much to Rei's delight, for a whole day before bringing a highly satisfied Rei back to the resting area. It was also just in ti for liodas and rlin to be back with Escanor too.
