After Rei's stun in the training grounds, a rumour spread about the young boy in the king's castle who could devour abilities. The knight's started to fear this boy as they knew that in the future, no holy knight could go against him.
liodas on the other hand was showing Rei around the place as he told him about his intentions.
"Rei, I want to adopt you will that be ok?" liodas asked looking at Rei who was in deep thought.
'Hmm, adopted by liodas...Could be fun.'Rei though before turning to liodas.
"Un Un." He nodded enthusiastically.
"Kishishishishi, then call papa."
liodas grinned seeing Rei's face of slight disbelief.
'Why the fuck do you want to make call you papa?' Rei though flabbergasted. liodas wanted him, a 130,000 ntal aged adult, to call him papa like a child. It was already unbearable acting like a kid already and liodas was making it harder for him.
"What? Don't want to? I guess I can't adopt you then." liodas made a pained face and sighed.
'BULLSHIT!' Rei cursed at the act liodas put on.
"P-p-Papa" Rei managed to squeeze out despite his overwhelming embarrassnt.
'AAAHHHRRRRRRGGGGGG' Rei ntally scread at this.
"Kishishishi. See? Wasn't so hard was it?" liodas asked with a smile. Rei could only turn his head away from liodas to hide his embarrassnt and anger.
"liodas san!" Dreyfus and Hendrickson called out as they saw liodas.
"Yo!" liodas replied with a smile.
"Is that the kid rumoured to be able yo devour abilities?" Dreyfus asked looking at Rei.
"Yeah." liodas said not denying the fact.
"Hou~ That's interesting indeed. Shall we give him ability a na?" Hendrickson asked.
"Un that's a good idea right Rei chan?" liodas asked looking at Rei.
Rei though about it and decided that All demon/god slayer magic was a mouthful so he nodded.
"Now then, what shall we call it...." liodas said closing his eyes as he though.
"All eater? Devour? Elent Eater?" liodas said as he continued to think.
"How about Gluttony?" Hendrickson said.
"Ohhh what do you think Rei chan?" liodas asked looking back down at Rei.
'Gluttony huh, I guess it fits quite well why not.' Rei though before nodding.
"Gluney! Gluney!" He called out as he tried to pronounce Gluttony.
'FUCK!!!' He cursed in his mind at the sa ti because of the fact that he can't pronounce shit right now.
"Hahahaha it would seem like Rei here likes it." Dreyfus said seeing Rei try to say Gluttony. However, he had put Rei on his kill list ntally as this power could be detrintal for the commandnts in the future if it ans that Rei could also eat demon magic.
"Now then I'm going to take Rei around the training area to show him so swords play." liodas said as he bid Dreyfus and Hendrickson goodbye.
Making sure that they were not being spied on liodas looked at Rei.
"You understand don't you." liodas said serious.
Rei nodded as liodas was his best guarantee right now.
"Good that makes it easier. You know that your a demon don't you."
Rei nodded once more telling the truth so it doesn't get complicated in the future.
"Do you want to help fight against the 10 commandnts in the future? In case you're wondering, the 10 commandnts are the elite warriors that the demon king himself chooses and grants a commandnt which is a portion of his power." liodas explained to Rei as he could tell that Rei wasn't sent by the demon king due to the fact that with his level of demon bloodline. If he was sent through, the seal by the goddess clan would have already rejected him from entering.
"Un. Fhai(fight)." Rei said ignoring the fact that he ssed up the pronunciation of fight.
"Hehee~" liodas smiled as he knew how much of a help Rei would be against the 10 commandnts.
"Well let's go to rlin shall we?" liodas said as he walked towards rlin's tower.
"We have already found everyone that will be in the 7 sins group, now we just need to gather them all." liodas said while he walked.
"We'll be visiting immortal Ban after we see rlin."
Soon, they reached the tower and saw rlin working on a spell.
"Yo!" liodas greeted.
"Oh? Captain, Rei." rlin greeted back pausing her experints.
"What brings you here captain?" She asked looking at the duo.
"I'm including Rei into our group to fight the 10 commandnts." He said as he placed Rei onto the table.
"Is that so? Hmm any reason why? Even if he could eat energy it may have a limit we don't know and with monsters like the 10 commandnts, we don't know what could happen." rlin said as she looked at Rei who was staring at the seals in the room with great curiosity. He crawled closer to the seals as he studied them and tried to decode so of them.
"Hm?" rlin and liodas watched Rei as he studied the seals.
Soon Rei understood that the seal was nt to freeze ti with in this space for a short period allowing rlin to pause he experints at anyti and for it to not be detrintal.
Picking up a spare test tube, Rei held it in his hands as he started to work on the seal. He worked as he ignored rlin and liodas who was watching in curiosity. What Rei didn't realise was that he was no longer as powerful as before and he can't do whatever he pleases anymore.
A highly detailed seal was drawn out as Rei threw the tube upwards and activated the seal. Rei looked at the seal which drained a lot of magic power from him. The tube floated for a slight mont before showing signs of moving once more causing Rei to frown.
'Infinity...' Rei though as he tried to use rlin's magic which drained even more from him causing him to stumble and the test tube fell towards him.
Just before it hit, rlin had stopped the test tube with her own magic and looked at the tired Rei laying on her desk.
"Rei chan, you understand seals?" She asked looking at Rei.
Rei nodded as he panted heavily from magic overuse.
"Captain, how about I teach Rei everything I know on seals and magic?" rlin suggested to liodas.
"Eto...That would be helpful. Because I suppose in our group, Rei would be my son while you are his god mother I guess." liodas said as he walked around the lab.
"Hou~ So I'm Rei chan's god mother. I guess I should teach him more then." rlin said picking up Rei and held him close.
Rei couldn't be bother from how their treating him as he was to tired to even move.
"Let's go see Ban now." liodas said as they made their way to the prison cells.
'I wonder what'll happen if they knew I was also immortal like Ban?' Rei though as he soon saw liodas walking into a cell.
Rei began to think about seals more deeply from what he had saw in rlin's lab. Seals when done right, are able to utilise all types of elents in the world. From creation to destruction even ti and space. Rei though about how he could use the seals to help him comprehend concepts of ti.
*BOOOOMMMMM!!!!
Ban suddenly shot out of the tower as dust rose high into the air.
"AAAAAHHHHHH!!!" Rei suddenly scread as he was pulled out from his focus. The sound was extra loud to him as his ear's were still being developed so it was super sensitive.
rlin shook Rei around a little to try calm him down while Rei cursed in his mind.
'Jesus Christ woman! I'm a 130,000 ntally aged man and you shake around like a child!!'
Soon the dust died down showing Ban laying down on the floor from defeat. liodas soon walked out of the cell looking at Ban.
"Hahahahaha, interesting...Hey! Let's fight again!" Ban shouted to liodas as he sat up.
"Sure, but on the condition of you joining the 7 deadly sins." liodas said as he walked in front of Ban.
"Sure seems fun!" Ban said taking liodas' hand and stood up.
"Right so I'm the captain, over there is rlin and the kid is my adopted son Rei." liodas introduced as he walked over to rlin and Rei.
"Hou~ you adopted a son?" Ban said looking at liodas' height.
"Woman problems?" Ban said with a shit eating grin causing liodas to punch Ban in the face and through another wall in the area.
