The mories of childhood that entered her mind confused her especially with the part of having two different fathers. She couldn't rember their faces but only their figures. One was brunette like her brother and one was blond-haired. She was able to recall the na of one of those n tho. Xia Sinian. He was supposed to be her father but based on her mories, he was also not. Instead, her real father was the blond-haired man.

Bai Jingye noticed that the woman on the bed was looking like she was in a deep thought. Could it be that… she rembered sothing? He won't know if remained quiet so he decided to ask, "does it ring a bell?"
She slowly turned her gaze to him. She was staring at him in disbelief when she realized that… she was indeed a mber of the Lu family. He was correct. Her na was Lu ngjie.

"Shouldn't we give my family a call to warn them about this?" Concern and yet a mixture of puzzlent in her voice.

They need to deceive everyone.
Now that she thought about it, he was correct. Just because she gained a few mories from her childhood shouldn't an that she should reach out to them. She still has to rember so many things.
What if her relationship with her family was not good? She still has to find out who the father of her child was. Was she married? Or not? If she was not, then wouldn't she be just making more trouble? Her family might end up disowning her. She would only make things harder for herself if she made a move now. She needed to have the rest of her mories back, mories of what happened before the accident, not mories of her childhood.
"Alright…" she sighed in defeat. She didn't have a choice but to do what he said. Right now, the only people she could trust were Bai Jingye and Tian Ruyi.
"You should get so rest after you eat. Your body needs it. Your child needs it."

Ever since the day that Lu ngjie was discharged from the hospital, just as planned, she moved into Bai Jingye's room. As usual, he was always busy with work but this ti, he would always co ho at the end of the day just to take care of her. He would join her for breakfast and dinner. One night, after dinner, Bai Jingye called his grandfather. Lu ngjie was on the bed, holding a book that she would usually read to pass ti. She looked at him when he made the call and quietly listened to their conversation since the call was on speaker.
"Yes, I think it will help her move on faster if I bring her around the country," said Bai Jingye. He was sitting on the sofa with his legs crossed. "She lost her child. She needs distraction."
That was the plan. Her baby bump was growing and if she stayed any longer in the place, it would only be a matter of ti before her 'fake miscarriage' would be found by Bai Keran's n.
"Show her around huh? Where are you going to take her?" The old man's curious voice was heard on the other line.
"Tokyo then maybe bringing her to Switzerland after…" Bai Jingye replied.
"Switzerland?" Surprise was evident from the elder's voice.
"Yes. I found out that she loves sweets, especially chocolates. I overheard her talking with a maid earlier that she has always wanted to go to Switzerland. It's well-known for its chocolates. It will be easier for her to move on."
Bai Keran beca quiet on the other side as if he was thinking about it. Seconds ticked until his answer was finally heard, "alright. You can go directly to Switzerland instead of taking her to Tokyo. It's better if you can keep her in one place as much as possible."
Lu ngjie rolled her eyes upon hearing what he said. She knew that he was trying his best to hide her; that was why she wasn't allowed to go outside… well, it's not like she tried in the first place, after all, she has a part to play: a depressed woman who 'lost' her child.
After the call ended, Bai Jingye placed his phone on the side before looking at her, "are you sure that Switzerland is the place?"
"Yes. It's the first place that entered my mind." Who knew the place might actually be a part of her past?
She didn't know why it was the first country that entered her mind when she was trying to think of a place on where to give birth to her child safely. For so reason, she felt sothing pulling her there. Whatever was it, she was going to find out about it soon.
