Rama’s breathing turned shallow as she turned to face him with questioning eyes "So we are like soul mates?"

"You could say that, but it is stronger. Nothing can alter our bond not even death." Draco said, his velvety smooth voice firm with assertion.

"So...."

He interrupted before she could finish her sentence "You can ask questions during breakfast, first wash up already."

Sighing as her face fell, she mumbled an inaudible yes before stepping into the washroom. She could feel his intense gaze behind her before she shut the door close, breaking his gaze from her.

Sighing shakily, she leaned against the door with her back against it as she closed her eyes, taking her ti to process the uncanny change in her life.

She was hanging on to the clutches of confusion while he revealed certain, unbelievable things to her.

She was well aware of the existence of the vampires and other supernatural creatures, but not demons, they were more of a myth yet her supposed husband was claiming to be the devil’s son and she, his demon mate.

She yearned for the truth and the only way she could get it was through him, hopefully. Their connection was rather strong, his re presence initiated her lost mories to stir out of their alcove of obliviousness, but still, it was a struggle.

Regardless of how familiar every inch of him felt, from his voice to his spicy scent, it all felt distant, as though she was grabbing water and it kept spilling through her fingers.

Lazily, she dragged her feet to the large tub filled to the brim with warm water. Peeling her clothes off, she stepped into the tub and soaked her body.

She let out a relaxed sigh as she dipped her head into the water, washing her body properly until every inch of her was squeaky clean.

Finally, she erged out of the tub and cleaned herself dry. She paced around in the washroom, hesitantly. She was still nervous to co face to face with Draco, despite her feigned confidence his intimidating eyes and aura made her extrely nervous.

He was nice and soft to her, but it didn’t diminish his nacing aura or the callous chillness beneath his tender gaze.

Putting on the robe, she finally proceeded to co out, while inwardly hoping he was no longer in the room. Pushing the door open with a slight creak, she walked into the bedroom to be greeted by his broad back facing her.

Imdiately she walked in, he swiftly turned around to face her, only to escalate the pounding of her heart even as there was a faint smile hanging on his lips.

She bit down on her bottom lip to stop it from quivering so much. Perhaps if she hadn’t witnessed his monstrosity the other night, then she wouldn’t have been terrified of him, but irrespective of what he had done, his lancholic aura was enough to elicit dread in her heart.

"Why are you smiling at like that?" She shot at him with irritated eyes, but she was only feigning an act to hide her fear, she repulsed the idea of disclosing her helplessness to him.

A sardonic smirk tugged the corner of his lips up as he spoke "You’re still the sa. Defiant as ever, unyielding and you repulse weakness. I was expecting a contrast of who you once were when I was told you lost your mories, but thankfully you’re still the sa. My feisty little princess."

Stretching his hand toward her slowly, he stroked her hair with a feather light touch while she flinched slightly at the unexpected gesture, her eyes cautious on him.

Recoiling his hand back, he sighed "My heart bleeds Rama, it bleeds so painfully because you don’t rember what we once share, the mories we made, but I’ll make you rember every single detail, I promise." His voice echoed softly as he spoke, with a lingering trace of hurt in it.

His ember eyes burned with the intensity of his promise and unspoken feelings that were beyond her knowledge. She could feel her heart throbbing with the rhythmic cadence of the transparent desires in his eyes as it mirrored her gaze.

The magnetic pull luring her to him defied logic and her sense of reasoning, she found her eyes traveling low from his eyes down to his luscious, full red lips. She imagined pressing hers against his and she swallowed.

"Already day dreaming about kissing while I’m right in front of you is quite...ironic, don’t you think?" Draco teased with a wicked smirk carved on his beautiful face.

She scoffed as she rolled her eyes, despite the fact that he was right, but she would never admit to it, not when it cost her pride.

"Why starve yourself when a delectable al is right here?" He quipped with a low, husky voice.

"You’re insane." She snapped at him defensively while her flushed cheeks betrayed her.

"You didn’t call that when you moaned in my ears." He retorted with a smug look in his face.

"What on earth is wrong with you? No man is as shaless as you are, spouting out such vulgar things." Rama said with furrowed brows.

"What’s there to be shaful about? You’re my wife and I’m your husband, its not unusual that we make love, now is it?" He taunted her with a mischievous glint in his eyes.

"Still, I don’t rember being your wife....or..or doing those things with you, so rather than be so shaful about it why won’t you be more compliant?" She reasoned out.

"So, should I court you again then? You were quite strong headed then and still are currently." Draco said.

"Unfortunately, you’ve made quite a bad impression since our first encounter until now, I don’t think courting would work, I will still despise you and find you aggravating. Perhaps, you should have thought twice before making that kind of first impression the first ti you co to see your wife who lost her mories. The fact that you failed to consider how I would feel while you ripped soone’s head off in front of speaks a lot about you." She stated out with seriousness.

"And what does that say about , hm?" He queried rhetorically but she gave him a valid answer.

"You’re a self centered, egoistic, arrogant demon who doesn’t care about anyone but himself. You are weak if you think killing a weaker man because of jealousy is a valid reason to kill, perhaps if you had a single knowledge about , you wouldn’t have done that in front of , your ego is as fragile as your rationality and You’re reckless beyond words." Rama spewed out her thoughts, laying them flat before him.

"You said the sa thing to when we first t, its amusing how you haven’t still changed, but despite everything you looked past my flaws and accepted , no doubt you will do the sa again and as for Dalen, he deserved it." Draco remarked in a tepid tone.

Rama was about to speak but he beat her to it as he said "You should wear your dress, I’ll be here waiting."

She scoffed at his nonchalance and without saying a word, she veered around, but his voice halted her in her steps as he said "Thats the washroom, the dressing room is on the left."

Whipping her head to face him, she snapped "I know!" And then she proceeded to the door on the left, slamming it behind her with a loud thud.

He chuckled at her behavior and his ember eyes sparkled at her uncanny personality, thankful that she never changed one bit, she was still the sa as ever.

Rama stord into the opulent dressing room. Her erald-green eyes were ablaze with fury, and her dark hair cascaded down her shoulders, a stark contrast to the storm brewing within her. Clad in a robe, her graceful steps resonated with purpose as she approached the full-length mirror that adorned one side of the lavishly decorated chamber.

Rama’s discontent was palpable, her hands clenched at her sides as she confronted her reflection, talking to herself about how impossible it seed to resist Draco. The air crackled with tension, and her sharp words echoed through the room, painting a picture of dissatisfaction.

However, as her gaze swept across the room, it collided with a dazzling array of luxurious fabrics and intricately designed garnts. The room itself seed to exhale opulence, with rich tapestries adorning the walls and polished wooden racks displaying garnts fit for royalty.

Rama’s anger, like a flickering candle in a gust of wind, began to wane as the allure of the exquisite garnts captivated her.

Scurrying to the dresses, she brushed the expensive fabric. Unlike the plain coloured dresses ranging from white to cream back in the Silver castle, there was a variety of colors here that caught her eyes.

Finally, choosing a dress she clad herself in it, as expected she was looking ravishing and the thought of Draco seeing her made her blush.
