Andrew's face bowled over at once. Why did he bring Reese's topic was the thought lingering on his mind. When Andrew and Jasper decided to live alone away from their ho after the studies, both landed in the sa place without their knowledge. Neither of them was ready to move out because that would be a fatal blow to their ego. So, they started living in the sa community, avoiding each other in every possible way.
''Don't you like my baby sister?'' Jasper asked, looking at Andrew's flummoxed face. He knows Andrew has feelings for Reese since they were thick friends. During their schooling, Jasper stumbled upon a greeting card Andrew had kept in his bedroom, where he penned Reese's na with a heart symbol next to it.
Jasper brushed past the incident at that ti. Days passed, Jasper observed Andrew's strange behavior towards Reese. Unlike his usual self, he would shy away when Reese is around, and that's how Jasper knew his friend has feelings for Reese. He was the happiest to give his sister to his best friend. But everything crashed when a fight happened between the two. Jasper has turned into a villain of Andrew's love story. He will neither let him see Reese nor allow him to talk with her.
He would be waiting for the day Reese visits Jasper's ho so that he gets a glimpse of her at least then, but for a year, she stopped even that.
He would be lucky to see her at the parties when the family friends gather. Andrew has no freedom to confess his love to Reese because of the Satan called Jasper. To make his love life complicated, he learned another truth. Reese is dating soone from Leena's office. He doesn't understand why she is into girls. Why does my life have no colors? ''I know that you are aware of Harley's secret. So, let's make a deal.''

''If you spill it, I will no longer be a hindrance in courting my sister.'' Jasper's words blew Andrew's mind at once. He was tempted to accept the idea on the spot, but he was a little skeptical about Jasper's suggestion. After all, Andrew betrayed him in the past, and what if he is thinking of taking revenge on him?
''What if you betray ?'' Andrew asked. Before accepting, he planned to clear his doubts first.
''I am not soone who stabs in the back.'' Jasper mocked. Although he didnot reveal it, Jasper was planning to show him the taste of his own dicine. He will slowly lure Andrew, and once he spills the secret, he knows what to do.
Andrew held back the scream of frustration. Can he stop bringing the incident all the ti? It happened long back, and he didnot lose anything for that matter.
''Deal or no deal?'' Jasper asked impatiently.
Andrew knows with Jasper not around, his job would be easy. But is it worth taking the risk? He feels Jasper is sketching behind his back. ''I need so ti to think about it,'' Andrew said.
''Can't you make a decision now?'' Jasper asked in anticipation. He badly wanted to know the reason, but it looks like his mortal enemy is not easily giving into him. Devin was the only one aware of Jasper, and Harley's relationship, except Andrew. Jasper tried asking him, but it seems even he is not aware of the reason. Had Devin knew, he wouldn't be standing in front of his mortal enemy's doorstep.
''You should be happy I am considering your proposal.'' Andrew pushed Jasper out of the house and closed the door.
''Damn it, The nerve of this bastard!'' Jasper muttered. ''Once you spill the truth, I will make sure to keep my sister away from you.'' Jasper thanked the gods for making the feelings not mutual. His sister will never like soone his brother hates him to the core. Happily, Jasper went ho, assuming he would get a positive reply soon.

The mont Harley went inside the ho, Evelyn was the first to rush towards her. She called Jasper, but he didnot receive the calls, and she beca impatient to know if he ruined the date successfully. Evelyn knows about their relationship through Jasper, but her daughter is holding a secret which she is not revealing. So, she has to step into the ga to nd things. ''How did the date went?''
''Good. Callan is a nice person.'' Harley said, not going into the details. In so ti, his dad will get a call from Callan, and then her mom will know the truth.
''That's all. Did nothing happen?'' Evelyn questioned, fidgeting her fingers.
''What did you think happened, mom?'' Harley asked skeptically. She felt her mom's actions are a little strange today.
''I_I_nothing. Go and change. I will call you when dinner is ready.''Evelyn hurried to the bedroom to make a call to Jasper again.
Harley went into her room and slumped on the bed. She needed a little rest to think about the things that happened today. Harley was about to sleep when her mobile beeped. She ignored it, for she knew it is from Jasper, and then closed her eyes.

The following day, Devin was utterly happy because he is getting discharged from the hospital.
''We are going ho, Devin.'' Leena squealed in happiness.
''I am glad for that,'' Replied Devin. It was torture getting restricted to the bed for two weeks. In the two weeks he stayed here, he ca to learn hospitals are torture. He missed working out, and his body is badly craving to lift the weights. He missed going to the office, and his list will go on if he starts.
''I know, it was pure torture, but everything has passed.'' Leena gently held his arm to support him.
''I am fine, Sweetheart. You don't need to hold .'' He chuckled at how adorable Leena is behaving. He has regained his health to normal, but Leena still treats him as a patient.
''Stop with your naggings. You are a patient.'' Leena reprimanded him.
There she goes again. Even after Devin is healthy now, Leena is treating him like a patient. But it doesn't matter. He loves when Leena spoils him.
Leena suggested going to the Wang mansion to have a happy environnt since all the family mbers will have the satisfaction of eting him. When the car pulled into the entrance, Leena and Nick got down to help Devin out of the car.
''These two,'' Devin muttered under his breath.
''My grandson, welco back.'' Arthur was the first to approach Devin, but Leena gently pushed him away before he hugged Devin. ''Grandpa, he is still recovering.''
''You are treating him like a zoo creature.'' Arthur glared at Leena with a sulking face.
''Your grandson is still recuperating, dad,'' Sharon comnted.
''Even you started, Aunt Sharon?'' Devin questioned. His family is treating him as if he is a sophisticated creature.
''Because you are.'' Callison retorted.
''You can fight later.'' Arthur said and turned to Leena. ''Take him his room, Leena.''
Leena smiled at them cutely and helped Devin to his room. Putting a pillow beneath his neck, she quietly whispered. ''I have got sothing for you.''
'What is it?''
''Wait for it.'' She winked and left the room. In no ti, Leena ca back, holding her hands behind the back. ''Guess what I have behind?''
''Of course, my favorite. Your sexy back.'' Devin flirted with her innocently.
'Devin! You naughty fellow.'' Leena climbed on the bed and settled in front of him in a crouched position. ''Make a serious guess.''
''Poop ice cubes?'' Devin asked. The gift encounter had put an imnse effect on him.
Leena pursed her lips in vex. ''No.''
''Bathroom mug?''
Why can't he guess like a normal human?
''Close your eyes.'' Leena sighed. She understood Devin might not make a guess, and it was all her fault. Had she given sothing that was less crazy during their gift encounter, the situation would have been different.
''Do it fast, idiot.'' She shouted when she didnot receive any response.
''Alright, Alright. Curb your anger.'' Devin imdiately closed his eyes.
Leena slowly brought the gift and held it in front of his eyes. ''Open your eyes, now.'' She whispered.
Devin was surprised to see a watch the mont he opened his eyes. His first gift by Leena. It broke on the day he boarded to Norway. But the look was indeed different.. A picture of Leena leaning on Devin's shoulder while he was looking at her was engraved inside it. When did she do it!
